Abstract

Student Identity Card (KTM) currently more widely used than as identification of any student, but the KTM development is expected to be used as a tool that has many functions, such as cards such as campus computer labs and perhaps as a payment card as an ATM card. Utilization KTM to access the on-campus facilities such as computers in the lab can be done by adding lines of code on the card and the barcode sensor which is used as input devices to capture lines of code. The catch line of code is then processed by using software control system switches off the personal computer on which is then used to turn on and off the computer at the laboratory according to a predetermined time. Switch on-off control system is not only a personal computer in the form of software, but also comprises a control computer and the relay driver circuit in charge of moving the switch on off personal computers. To integrate the computer controlling the relay driver circuit, used card PPI (Pheripheral Programable Interface) as interface 8255. Abstract

Expert System is an Artificial Intelligent system that combines a database with niferensi system. Expert systems can be implemented into various areas of agriculture one of the study aims to create a system that represents a specialist in identifying diseases of horticultural crops as well as control measures based on physical characteristics of plants. The expert system is expected to help farmers in pest control so that crop failure due to pests can be minimized. The design of Expert System draws from existing systems and data used are already using data from experts, is intended for the validity of the diagnosis.The software for this expert system designed by using Borland Delphi 7.0 programming Windows-based, as adapted to the changing times. Besides, it is also easier for the operator to operate the application, because basically the way the operation using the Windows operating system. Abstract

Abstract - Currently in the world of network is being focused on computer network system, the dangerous and dangerous things from within the network itself. It requires techniques to secure the resources available in computer networks by using Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) or intrusion detection systems, using an intruder detection system that enables preventive network and information systems (IPS) or backharming systems that will prevent intruder. In this research applied Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) as detection and prevention system when intruders on computer network server, using Snort as rule based as alert to do security on computer network. Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) implemented on Linux operating systems and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) will be implemented with firewalls or iptables. From this research, Intrusion Detection System (IDS) system testing and response time analysis with 3 models of TCP flood attack, UDP Flood, and ICMP Flood. Results issued by the IDS system with 1 client and 2 clients simultaneously perform an attack that produces the same alert accuracy value with an average value of 99.98%. The average value of response time obtained from credit with 1 client is 0.53 seconds and when using 2 clients get an average value of 0.32 seconds. So in conclusion when an intruder detection system (IDS) is shared with 1 client or 2 client performs an attack, the system is able to detect well and produce the same performance in detecting attacks from 1 or more clients. And the results of the intruder deterrent testing system (IPS) is able to block Internet Protocol (IP) by filtering the attacker IP well.Keywords - Computer Network Security, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Snort, IP Tables.

Abstract

Redistribusi protokol routing saat ini sering dijumpai dibanyak kasus seperti penggabungan dua perusahaan atau ketika jaringan internal didalam satu Autonomous System (AS) ingin terhubung dengan internet yang terdiri dari ribuan AS yang berbeda. Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) adalah salah satu protokol routing Interior Gateway Protocol (IGP) yang paling banyak digunakan, sementara Border Gateway Protokol (BGP) merupakan satu-satunya protokol routing yang digunakan di internet. Salah satu kekurangan BGP yaitu memiliki waktu konvergensi yang paling lambat dibanding yang lain [8]. Oleh sebab itu banyak penelitian dilakukan agar dapat mengurangi waktu konvergensi BGP diantaranya adalah dengan pengaturan keepalive dan hold time BGP. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan simulasi redsitribusi protokol routing OSPF dan BGP dengan mengatur nilai keepalive dan hold time BGP untuk menghasilkan waktu konvergensi yang cepat. Nilai optimal keepalive dan hold time pada penelitian ini adalah 30 detik untuk hold time dan 10 detik untuk keepalive yang menghasilkan rata-rata waktu konvergensi 28.86 detik yang lebih cepat dibanding penelitian sebelumnya [2].

Abstract

The development of information is currently growing rapidly, in the era of globalization television media (TV) is still the favorite choice for the public in getting an information as needed. With the advancement of technology in television and internet media, television broadcasting can not only be done on television sets but can also be broadcast via computer devices, laptops and cellphones with streaming technology based on websites and mobile. Streaming technology services are already widely used in website-based television stations in the user's need to facilitate online television broadcasts. But not only television stations that have streaming TV websites, every university has a streaming TV based website. To build a TV streaming website design, the WordPress blog engine application is used using the PHP programming language with the xampp application needed on the MariaDB database, as well as the local apache web server and YouTube Unas TV as a server in the streaming process. The final results of this study with the campus TV streaming website can make one of the electronic media that can inform campus activities streaming through the TV streaming website application, by using the internet students can view campus information media and can access it anywhere

Abstract

A system is needed to be used to improve the quality of human resources. Performing performance appraisals is the system that will be used. Employee performance appraisal has a main function in the work environment. This problem is related to the provisions achieved by the company, related to the performance of its employees. The monitoring system of the performance appraisal of the FTKI Secretariat staff at the National University is still fairly manual due to the absence of applications to assess the performance of its employees. Assessing the ability of employees when implementing Rating Scale is the purpose of this study at the FTKI Secretariat at the National University. Many companies currently apply very global and very simple methods through rating scales. To evaluate the ability of this employee to use the rating scale method, if starting from the scale of "Very Good" to "Not Good". And here I use the Android mobile system. One of the factors I chose this device because of the nature of the mobile that is easy and fast to adjust besides being easier to use and develop.

Abstract

In this Digital era, Microcontrollers are now growing rapidly and are increasingly in demand in control system applications. Including Arduino Microcontroller, by using this Arduino trying to overcome a problem that often occurs in the Data Center space, namely the problem of temperature and humidity instability that has a major impact on data on each rack in the data center space. This problem occurs if the temperature is too hot or too excessive humidity which results in overheating so that it can damage data stored in the data center. To solve the problem, Arduino detects temperature and humidity using a DHT11 module that can detect clearly and accurately, and can display on the LCD screen, or display the results of temperature and humidity detection on a webbased Thingspeak application and the Blynk application that can be accessed via a smartphone. Internet-based of Things (IoT). With DHT11 processed by Arduino can produce an ideal temperature of 18 ° C - 28 ° C and humidity of 40.00% - 60.00%, and provide Notifications that will be sent to the blynk application if there are problems with temperature and humidity instability.

Abstract

Universitas Nasional didirikan pada 15 oktober 1949 merupakan salah satu perguruan tinggi swasta tertua kedua di Indonesia dan tertua di Jakarta. Biro Administrasi di Universitas Nasional memiliki karyawan tata usaha yang bertugas memasukan data mahasiswa, dosen, maupun aktivitas perkuliahan. Jika terjadi pergantian atau penambahan karyawan tata usaha maka membutuhkan suatu Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) berbasis website yang menggunakan PHP dan MySQL. Sistem pada penelitian ini dibuat menggunakan metode waterfall. Pada metode waterfall, setiap tahap harus diselesaikan terlebih dahulu sebelum melanjutkan ke tahap berikutnya. Metode SPK yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) dan Technique for Order Preference by Similarity of Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). SAW adalah suatu metode penjumlahan terbobot pada rating kinerja masing-masing alternatif. TOPSIS adalah metode yang bersifat dinamis dan menunjukan evaluasi ranking dari ranking tertinggi hingga terendah. Pengujian SPK SAW dan TOPSIS pada aplikasi terhadap pemilihan karyawan tata usaha Biro Administrasi di Universitas Nasional diperoleh perankingan pada metode SAW yaitu rank 1 Aldi (0,92), rank 2 Budi (0,737), rank 3 Citra (0,733). Hasil perangkingan metode TOPSIS yaitu rank 1 Aldi (0,726), rank 2 Budi (0,492), rank 3 Citra (0,331).

Abstract

Virtual education is distance teaching in which teachers and students are in different places but can be connected to each other via the internet network. The virtual education system is divided into two, namely Learning Management System (LMS) and virtual classes. One of virtual education is video conferencing (vicon). A fully capable network is required to comply with Quality of Service (QoS) standards for real-time applications. This study analyzes the QoS of vicon features in LMS at the University of Nasional that is BigBlueButtonBN. Based on the QoS parameters obtained 25% throughput, 100% packet loss, 84.75% delay, 37.5% jitter and 58.5% MOS. Based on the bandwidth requirements of each parameter, the results are 61.2% or 27.9411MB. The MOS value for video 100 is 4, which results in very good images on this vicon.Keywords:BigblueButtonBN; Learning Management System; Mean Opinion Score; Quality of Service; Video Conference
