Abstract

The aim of this research is to reveal (1) Computer Model Simulation-based Teaching influences the study results on Solar System Material in the First Year Students of SMA Negeri 10 Pontianak; (2) the influences of motivation to students’ study results on Solar System Material in the First Year Students of SMA Negeri 10 Pontianak; (3) the interaction influences between Computer Model Simulation-based Teaching and motivation to students’ study results on Solar System Material in the First Year Students of SMA Negeri 10 Pontianak. The design of the research used post test only design with two courses factorial analysis 2x2. Advanced hypotheses test used scheffe method. The instruments are study result tests in the form of essay with cognitive indicator. The results of the experiments showed that 1) Computer Model Simulation-based Teaching influenced the study results of Geography on Solar System Material in the First Year Students, with sig scores 0,000 < α = 0,050 and Fcount 18,213 > F table 4,021. 2) Motivation influenced the study results of Geography on Solar System in the First Year Students, with sig scores 0,005 < α = 0,050 and Fcount 8,730 > Ftable 4,021. 3) There are interaction influences between Computer Model Simulation-based Teaching and motivation to students’ study results on Solar System Material in the First Year Students with sig scores 0,038 < α = 0,050 and Fcount 4,553 > F table 4,021.
