Abstract

We analyzed the activities in the student books Curriculum 2013.This research was to understand the development of observation skills in the student book. This research was analyzed student books for grade 1, 2, 4, and 5. From the analysis, obtained information that in the student books have contained instructions or assignments for students to observe objects / events / real phenomenon that results are in keeping with the facts (appearing in grades 1, 2, 4, and 5), use a variety of senses (appearing in grade 1, 2, 4, and 5), determine similarities or differences (appearing in grades 1, 2, 4, and 5), and repeated observations to obtain accurate results (appearing in grade 1 and 4). But in the book there are no clues student or assignment for the students to use the tools of observation so the range of observation and no further details are also instructions for preparing the observation stage. In addition, the activity observed in the students' books are dominated by observing the images so that the information obtained by the students is limited.

Abstract

The purpose of this training was to facilitate elementary school teachers in Sanjaya Elementary School Tritis, Pakem so that they were able to provide learning media for Natural and Social Sciences. The learning media was a set of equipment that could be used as learning media to help teachers deliver lessons to the students so that students were motivated to learn. Media that could be used should be helpful for the students to understand the concept of learning, be suitable with the characteristics of the students, and facilitate the students to obtain the learning objectives, as well as appropriate with the learning condition, facilities and time availability. This training was directed in such a way that the teachers in that school became creative in utilizing objects around them to teach Natural and Social Sciences. Games were also used to teach Mathematics.

Abstract

Keutuhan Tahapan Pembelajaran IPA denganPendekatan Saintifik pada Buku Siswa Sekolah Dasar Kurikulum 2013.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui keutuhan tahapan pembelajaran denganpendekatan saintifik di buku siswa SD Kurikulum 2013 khusus di bidang IPA.Analisis buku didasarkan pada pentingnya pengembangan pendekatansaintifik, pentingnya buku sebagai panduan pembelajaran, dan kesenjanganpenelitian sebelumnya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif di manapeneliti mendeskripsikan kegiatan di buku sesuai dengan fakta yang ada.Buku yang dianalisis adalah buku siswa SD kelas 1, 2, 4, dan 5. Analisisdilakukan menggunakan isntrumen rubrik analisis yang telah diolahpeneliti.Dari hasil analisis, diperoleh informasi bahwa tidak ada kegiatan dibidang IPA yang menerapkan tahapan pembelajaran dengan pendekatansaintifik secara utuh (5 tahapan). Maka buku siswa perlu diperbaiki olehpemerintah dan guru. Guru juga perlu melakukan kegiatan tambahan agarpembelajaran dengan pendekatan saintifik dapat terlaksana dengan maksimal.

Abstract

 This study aimed to know the integrity of the learning stages with a scientific approach in the book of elementary school students curriculum specialized in the field of IPA 2013. Analysis of the book is based on the importance of a scientific approach to development, the importance of books as learning guides, and previous research gaps. This research is a descriptive research in which researchers describe the activities in the book according to the facts. The books that analyzed are primary student books grade 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. Analyses were performed by using the instrument of accession rubric analysis that has been processed by researchers. From the analysis, obtained information that, there are no activites in science which apply the learning stages with the full scientific approach intact (5 stages). So this book must be repaired by the goverment ant teacher. Besides that, teachers need to do additional activities in order to maximize learning with scientific approach.

Abstract

One of the policies made by the government to break the chain of spread of the Covid-19 virus is in the education sector, namely changing the face-to-face learning system into online learning. However, in online learning itself, not all students are successful in its application, there are many obstacles and obstacles they experience. The purpose of this study was to analyze the learning motivation of Papuan students in online learning. The method used in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The results of this study say that Papuan students' learning motivation in online learning can be said to be good even though there are several obstacles related to online learning techniques. The results of the study were seen based on indicators of learning motivation, namely, the desire to succeed, the encouragement and curiosity, the increasing activities in learning, the existence of a conducive learning environment, the appreciation in learning.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan implementasi computational thinking pada mata pelajaran IPA pada pokok bahasan lingkungan rumah sehat dan lingkungan rumah tidak sehat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan hasil implementasi pendekatan computational thinking pada mata pelajaran IPA di kelas III Sekolah Dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu jenis pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain penelitian single one shot case study. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan computational thinking peserta didik kelas III tuntas. Hal tersebut dilihat dari nilai rata rata kelas pada indikator dekomposisi memperoleh nilai 82.85, pada indikator abstraksi memperoleh rata rata nilai 82, pada indikator algoritma memperoleh rata rata nilai 82.25, sehingga ketuntasan peserta didik tercapai. Hal ini didukung dengan penilaian yang dilakukan oleh teman sejawat yang memperoleh skor rata rata 3.8 kategori sangat baik, sehingga pembelajaran yang dilakukan dikatakan berhasil. Peserta didik merasa sangat senang ketika mengikuti proses pembelajaran, hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil kuesioner yang sudah dilakukan, yaitu terdapat 18 peserta didik yang sangat senang dan terdapat 2 peserta didik yang senang, tidak terdapat peserta didik yang tidak senang dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut respon peserta didik melalui kuisioner dikatakan berhasil. Kata kunci: computational thinking, IPA, lingkungan rumah sehat, lingkungan rumah tidak sehat.

Abstract

Computational thinking saat ini sudah menjadi literasi dan menjadi bagian Kurikulum Merdeka. STEM merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang mengkolaborasikan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi, seni, dan matematika untuk mengembangkan keterampilan dan kemampuan siswa. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih minimnya intergrasi computational thinking dan STEM dalam kegiatan pembelajaran khususnya pembelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil belajar, aktivitas siswa selama pembelajaran, serta respon siswa setelah pembelajaran. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah one-shot case study dengan subyek penelitian adalah 23 siswa kelas V-B SD Kanisius Kadirojo pada tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Hasil penelitian ini, sebagai berikut: (a) persentase ketuntasan siswa 91,1%, (b) persentase seluruh aktivitas siswa 97,7, (c) kemampuan guru memperoleh skor rata-rata 3,8/kriteria baik, dan (d) respon siswa adalah positif sebesar 91%. Dengan demikian integrasikan computational thinking dan STEM mampu meningkatkan keaktifan siswa dalam berpikir komputasional berdasar fondasi computational thinking berbasis pendekatan STEM

Abstract

This article describes learning that contains computational thinking (CT) on the use of money material in grade III elementary schools. CT is a basic skill that involves problem formulation, problem-solving, as well as scientific reasoning. The government's policy regarding the need to integrate CT into learning is motivated by the low-quality index of Indonesian education in PISA and efforts to prepare students for 21st-century skills. The material about the use of money has a special urgency, namely instilling financial literacy which can be beneficial for the future of students. The method used is descriptive qualitative with primary data sources, namely class III students at SD Negeri Jatisawit totaling 32 students. The results of this study are that the implementation of CT-charged learning on the use of money material can bring up CT foundational aspects, namely decomposition and algorithms, and the teacher's ability to manage computational thinking-charged learning on the use of money material reaches a score of 91.6 percent or in the "good" category, the results student learning achieved RTP in the high category, namely 85 percent on the decomposition foundation score and 88 percent on the algorithm foundation score, the student's response to the application of CT-loaded learning was positive by achieving a score of 88.75 percent.Artikel ini mendeskripsikan pembelajaran yang bermuatan computational thinking (CT) pada materi kegunaan uang pada kelas III sekolah dasar. CT adalah keterampilan dasar yang melibatkan perumusan masalah, pemecahan masalah, serta penalaran ilmiah. Kebijakan pemerintah mengenai perlunya pengintegrasian CT dalam pembelajaran dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya indeks mutu pendidikan Indonesia dalam PISA serta upaya mempersiapkan peserta didik menuju kecakapan abad 21. Materi kegunaan uang memiliki urgensi khusus yakni menanamkan literasi finansial yang dapat bermanfaat bagi masa depan peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan sumber data primer yakni peserta didik kelas III SD Negeri Jatisawit berjumlah 32 peserta didik. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa implementasi pembelajaran bermuatan CT pada materi kegunaan uang dapat memunculkan aspek fondasi CT yakni dekomposisi dan algoritma, kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran bermuatan computational thinking pada materi kegunaan uang mencapai skor 91,6 persen atau dalam kategori “baik”, hasil belajar peserta didik mencapai RTP kategori tinggi yakni 85 persen pada skor fondasi dekomposisi dan 88 persen pada skor fondasi algoritma, respon peserta didik terhadap penerapan pembelajaran bermuatan CT adalah positif dengan mencapai skor 88,75 persen.

Abstract

ABSTRAK The implementation of computational thinking in learning in elementary schools is still a challenge for education, especially educators and students in schools. Teachers must be able to design learning by integrating computational thinking so that the learning process is more meaningful while students are required to be able to solve problems with logical, sequential, and effective steps. This study aims to provide an overview of the application of computational thinking in learning mathematics and to determine the effect of applying computational thinking in learning mathematics in Grade IV Elementary School. The research method uses a single one shot case study design. The research subjects consisted of 21 people in class IV of Elementary School Muhammadiyah Siraman Wonosari in the 2022/2023 academic year. This research took place during one meeting, the implementation of which was in accordance with the implementation plan for learning fraction material. This research produced some data, namely (a) Data analysis of student learning outcomes reached 83.7. (b) Analysis of student activity data reached a percentage of 80.42%. (c) Data analysis on the ability of teachers to obtain an average score of 3.67 (good criterion). (d) Analysis of student response data to learning to get positive results by reaching 96.19%. Keywords: computational thinking, learning mathematics, elementary school ABTRACT Implementasi berpikir komputasi dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dasar masih menjadi tantangan bagi pendidikan khususnya pendidik dan peserta didik di sekolah. Guru harus mampu merancang pembelajaran dengan mengintegrasikan berpikir komputasi agar proses belajar lebih bermakna sedangkan peserta didik dituntut untuk dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan dengan langkah-langkah yang logis, urut, dan efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran penerapan berpikir komputasi dalam pembelajaran matematika dan mengetahui pengaruh penerapan berpikir komputasi dalam pembelajaran matematika di Sekolah Dasar Kelas IV. Metode penelitian menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 21 orang di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Muhammadiyah Siraman Wonosari pada tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Penelitian ini berlangsung selama satu kali pertemuan yang pelaksanaannya sesuai dengan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran materi bilangan pecahan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan beberapa data yaitu (a) Analisis data hasil belajar siswa mencapai 83,7. (b) Analisis data aktivitas siswa mencapai persentase sebesar 80,42% . (c) Analisis data kemampuan guru memperoleh skor rata-rata 3,67 (kreteria baik). (d) Analsis data respon siswa terhadap pembebelajaran mendapatkan hasil positif dengan mencapai 96,19%.
