Abstract

This article is not to negotiate the arena of accepting one to another, dichotomy between the body and soul, but to see how acts of discipline put one in touch with realities, or a Reality, not discernible in mere ordinary life experience. Brown i added that ‘deepening a relation to that Reality by humanizing the world in which one lives is what life is all about’. At the same time this article is also to discuss how the negotiation of the eschatological vision of prince’s life is prophetically inclined. It is by first giving respect to this classical Javanese Babad Dipanegara literature as one of the Indonesian cultural and spiritual heritage illuminating the way of how prince life deepened via this integrality; integration prince’s reality with a Reality is what matters within his leadership assistance. Respecting this local literary means to reveal the unforgettable Java War impetus that involved Islamic values being integrated into contemporary Javanese and Indonesian identity; besides, it is to particularly bring about the Javanese locals’ characteristic of their intangible culture that today nation’s development level recently requires – a sample of how prince’s heroic, spiritualistic trait had managed to cope with realities and above all, witnessed a Reality. It is of important to note how this prophecy in the setting of Javanese culture be incorporated, depicted, administered through the embodiment of prince’s way of life, his noble philosophy, and his religious culmination. It is by discussing this classical Javanese literature –macapat 2 Babad Dipanegara that this prophecy be addressed itself to its most tendentious mystery.

Abstract

Background: This community service is a follow up of community service in Kecamatan Sumberrejo in 2017 and is expected to be the first step to preparing the launching of the bamboo tourism village in Kecamatan Sumberrejo. Purpose: This community service aims to provide solutions for problems faced by partners, preparation for launching and planning the right promotional mix to attract consumers’ interest in the newly formed educational tourism in Kecamatan Sumberrejo. Method: Assistance by the team to partners through counseling, training, and practical assistance. In addition, worksheets have been provided to monitor partner activities and measure the effectiveness of the training. Result: The pre-test and post-test results illustrate an increase in partner knowledge regarding the promotion mix. Conclusion: The material delivered by the team was able to be well understood by partners and partners’ knowledge and interest in marketing through the promotion mix increased.

Abstract

This community service aims to give some solutions for marketing problems of UMKM in Kecamatan Kedungpring, Kabupaten Lamongan, Jawa Timur. Partners face issues related to promotions, especially promotions through social media. Therefore, training about online marketing is given to partners. Partners are able to practice online marketing well, also improve online marketing techniques knowledge indicated by pre-test and post-test given by team.AbstrakPengabdian masyarakat melalui program PKM ini bertujuan untuk membantu memberikan solusi bagi persoalan yang dihadapi mitra, dalam hal ini persoalan pemasaran untuk menambah omzet UMKM di Kecamatan Kedungpring, Kabupaten Lamongan, Jawa Timur. Solusi yang ditawarkan dalam bentuk pelatihan pemasaran online melalui media sosial. Indikator keberhasilan dalam program ini adalah mitra yang dilatih mampu menjelaskan pemasaran online melalui media sosial dengan baik. Pelatihan terkait teknik-teknik berpromosi melalui media sosial juga akan dilakukan agar pengetahuan mitra semakin bertambah. Selain itu disediakan lembar kerja untuk memonitor aktivitas mitra dan mengukur efektivitas penyampaian materi dari tim kepada mitra. Luaran dari program ini adalah artikel yang dipublikasikan di jurnal nasional atau prosiding.

Abstract

The process of how Javanese life worksin harmony with these three core relationships namely: human relations (microcosm), relationship with nature (macrocosm), and relationship with God (metacosm)is the main focus of this study. The people of Tawun District, Ngasreman, Ngawi, East Java,as the object of this study are likely to offer so much understanding, and indeed provide still, today, a harmonious concept of livingmanifested in the ritual ceremony of Keduk Beji (English: Beji scoop). This study then examines howthe construction of microcosm, macrocosm, and metacosm among Tawunpeople’sritual tradition of Keduk Bejiis put to work. The constructions are built upon the need for continuity and harmony in life. For the conclusion, this article’s preliminary result of the three relationships is centered on the relationship of metacosm as the last objectives of mankind before dealing withthe death. To fully support this field research article, a qualitative method is used to fully comprehend the analysis.

Abstract

In today’s MEA (ASEAN economic community) era, the need to be more innovative in designing and marketing any products are necessary to those who run UMKM (Usaha Mikro Kecil danMenengah). However, one particular factor that fully hinders them is the holistic marketing processes besides capital, technology, and human resources. To further implement the solution, this paper concentrates on both UMKM MakmurAsri and TaniMakmur (in Tulungrejo, Trucuk, Bojonegoro), the manufacturer of tortilla snack, as the firms facing the mentioned trouble. Located far from the surrounding main roads, their location is by chance hard to reach. For the reason of distant constraint to customers, one better strategy is to apply the use of online shop andintroduce m-commerce model. Thus, by intensive training and mentoring, this iBM community service fills them in with all the details of the two combinations of marketing and English for business. It is with big hope that through applying this method can help the firms and their product be locally and internationally consumed and much more so. Key words: marketing, online store, m-commerce, tortilla corn.

Abstract

Akibat adanya PHK selama pandemi banyak warga Surabaya yang tidak memiliki pekerjaan. Hal ini berimbas pada terhambatnya pemenuhan kebutuhan rumah tangga, termasuk kebutuhan untuk pemuda. Sebagai elemen masyarakat yang aktif, kelompok pemuda dapat digerakkan dalam kegiatan entrepreneurship sebagai upaya untuk membentuk sikap kemandirian ekonomi. Salah satu kelompok pemuda yang dapat diberdayakan adalah Karang Taruna. Oleh sebab itu, penting mengajarkan keterampilan berwirausaha kepada kelompok ini sejak dini melalui beragam aktivitas bisnis, termasuk bisnis di bidang kuliner. Sebagai kota metropolitan yang menawarkan beragam kemudahan dalam melakukan transaksi bisnis, Kota Surabaya menjadi salah satu kota yang memberikan peluang bagi pengusaha kuliner untuk berinovasi. Bidang kuliner menjadi sangat diminati di Surabaya karena bidang usaha ini mudah dilakukan, modal yang dibutuhkan cenderung tidak besar, serta modal yang dikeluarkan biasanya kembali dalam waktu yang relatif singkat (jawapos.com). Adapun mitra dalam kegiatan ini adalah anggota Karang Taruna Kelurahan Putat Jaya, Kecamatan Sawahan, Kota Surabaya. Sayangnya, belum semua kelompok pemuda ini bersedia melakukan kegiatan entrepreneurship di bidang kuliner untuk membantu menggerakkan roda perekonomian. Selain karena terbatasnya pengetahuan yang dimiliki, juga tidak adanya pendampingan dari pihak-pihak yang kompeten di bidang tersebut. Sebagai solusinya, tim PkM Universitas Airlangga mengadakan pelatihan yang berfokus pada beberapa materi, yaitu (1) Entrepreneurship skills; (2) English for Business: Penggunaan Bahasa Inggris dalam kemasan produk (English for Packaging); (2) English for Business: Penggunaan Bahasa Inggris dalam iklan (English for Advertising); (3) Marketplace Platform; serta (4) Perencanaan pembuatan produk kuliner dan perhitungan modal yang dikeluarkan. Dari kegiatan pelatihan tersebut dihasilkan luaran berupa (1) peningkatan keterampilan dalam merancang pengemasan produk yang menarik menggunakan Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Inggris, (2) modul yang berjudul “Mengelola Bisnis Kuliner untuk Karang Taruna di Putat Jaya”. Kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan semacam ini seharusnya dilaksanakan secara berkelanjutan sehingga diharapkan kedepannya mampu membantu kelompok pemuda dalam mengembangkan jiwa entrepreneurship untuk menghadapi permasalah perekonomian masyarakat yang lebih luas.
