Abstract

The present world-wide pandemic may have adverse effects on health, economics, social, and political life as well as on all age stages. The covid-19 treatment efforts have been made by both governments and private governments in the form of vaccinating, improving healthy life behaviour and getting used to health protocols. Teenagers are one of the risky groups either carrier or covid-19 patients, it's because of those with the stage age groups in search of identity and socialize with peer groups. This situation takes youth as a very potential group to transmit to those around them with activities they are experiencing. The purpose of this activity is to give knowledge and technical guidance to students in MAN 1 Padang. As for the methods used in the activity through direct instrumentation and training of materials and evaluation at the time of the operation involving presentations, discussions, demonstration and re-demonstration of the washing of hands and the wearing of masks. The results of this activity are found to be almost entirely to all teenagers participating in the activity can relate to covid-19 and the attempts made to increase immunity in the pandemic of covid-19. It is hoped that youth can change into a creative, innovative young agent who offers input, ideas and suggestions to help promote clean and healthy, by continuing health protocol in the community in a community setting.

Abstract

The number of older person with dementia that 220,the found 22 million older person who had dementia and it will be increased in 2030,that 63 million people. Dementia is disease commonly experience of elderly. The main problem that must be appear on the elderly that is a decrease in cognitive function. The intervention to minimizing impaire in cognitive function is music therapy. Music therapy is very effective for increase cognitive function to older person who had dementia at Nursing Home Care Sabai Nan Aluih at Sicincin Padang Pariaman,2017. Design of this study is Quasy Experiment with One Group Prettes-posttest Design, and using Purposive Sampling technique with the number of 10 sample. The time of research do on 5-17 June 2019. The results is show that the score of cognitive function before giving music therapy is 17.1, while the score of cognitive function after giving music therapy is 19.7. Abstract

Nutritional status is an indicator of success in health development in Indonesia. One of the nutritional problems that is still a serious challenge for health workers is malnutrition in toddlers and toddlers. Even though toddlers are the seeds of the nation's future generation. Toddlers themselves are very vulnerable to experiencing health problems as a result of poor nutritional status. Given that toddler age is the beginning of child growth and development. The impact of malnutrition on toddlers is quite diverse, including increasing the risk of infectious diseases, inhibiting the growth and development of children, causing health problems during adolescence and adulthood, and even increasing the risk of child death. This community service activity aims to increase knowledge and develop the skills of pregnant women and toddlers in meeting nutritional needs during pregnancy and toddler nutrition as well as managing healthy eating for toddlers. The methods used in the activity is counseling/education, demonstrations, and competitions for healthy infants and toddlers. The results of this activity helped almost all participants to understand infant nutrition and pregnant women's nutrition and participants were also able to manage food accordingly

Abstract

Karies gigi merupakan masalah kesehatan gigi yang sering terjadi dan cukup tinggi pada anak usia sekolah dasar (6-12 tahun), yang memberikan dampak pada anak seperti kesulitan menggigit atau makan makanan yang keras sehingga menyebabkan gangguan pencernaan serta kekurangan nutrisi, anak mengalami gangguan tidur yang dapat mengganggu tumbuh kembang anak dan menyebabkan anak kurang berkonsentrasi dalam belajar. Peran orang tua sangatlah penting dalam mencegah dan perawatan anak dengan karies gigi, karena orang tua adalah orang terdekat anak terutama dalam memelihara kesehatan gigi dan mulutnya. Penelitian  bertujuan untuk  mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi peran orang tua dalam perawatan gigi dan mulut dengan kejadian karies gigi pada anak usia sekolah dasar di RW 03 Kelurahan Sawahan Timur Kecamatan Padang Timur Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Andalas. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain studi Cross Sectional, dengan populasi sebanyak 84 orang orang tua, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel secara total sampling. Data penelitian ini diperoleh menggunakan kuesioner dan observasi secara langsung. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian didapatkan tidak ada hubungan antara tingkat pendidikan, pekerjaan, pendapatan dan sikap orang tua dengan kejadian karies gigi. Dengan tidak adanya hubungan faktor-faktor peran oaring tua terhadap kejadian karies, maka diharapkan karies gigi pada anak tetap menjadi perhatian bagi orang tua agar dapat diminimalkan kejadiannya serta menjadi bahan bagi peneliti selanjutnya untuk melihat variable lain terkait kejadian karies gigi pada anak sekolahKata Kunci : Tingkat Pendidikan, Pekerjaan, Pendapatan, Sikap, Karies Gigi
