Abstract

Proses pemilihan sebuah laptop harus didasarkan pada kemampuan dan kebutuhan pembeli. Ketika pembeli dihadapkan pada banyak pilihan merk laptop dan berbagai spesifikasinya. Dari hal tersebut dibuatlah sebuah sistem pendukung keputusan yang ditujukan untuk membantu pembeli memilih laptop yang sesuai dengan kriteria Style, Reability dan Price, serta mengambil alternatif Samsung, HP dan Lenovo. Abstract

Membaca merupakan aktivitas yang sangat penting dalam masyarakat dan merupakan langkah awal membina minat baca. Membaca bisa menambah informasi, pengetahuan, dan wawasan berpikir yang luas. Kemajuan teknologi sekarang ini mendorong banyak perubahan dalam kehidupan manusia dari era informasi ke era digital di segala bidang. Pemanfaatan teknologi sebagai media pembelajaran merupakan salah satu langkah inovatif untuk meningkatkan mutu atau kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia, sehingga dapat bersaing di tingkat global. Salah satu bentuk media pembelajaran mahasiswa yang mengimplementasikan perkembangan teknologi dan komunikasi dengan interaksi pengguna yang sedang dikembangkan saat ini adalah buku digital atau dikenal dengan e-book. Buku digital atau electronik book (e-book) merupakan salah satu alternatif bagi siswa dalam meningkatkan minat baca. Karena tidak bisa dipungkiri lagi, sekarang siswa lebih banyak memegang handphone daripada buku mereka. Sifat buku digital praktis dan mudah dibawa kemana-mana memudahkan siswa untuk membacanya kapanpun dan dimanapun mereka mau. Sehingga diharapkan pemanfaatan buku digital dalam meningkatkan minat baca siswa akan lebih efektif dan efisien. Untuk saat ini semua kalangan mulai dari balita hingga dewasa sudah banyak yang memanfaatkan smartphone untuk menemani waktu luang mereka, orang tua harus memiliki kemampuan dalam mengontrol serta memilih aplikasi apasajakah yang baik untuk anak misalnya adalah game edukasi yang dapat menumbuhkan minat baca untuk anak-anak mereka contohnya seperti buku cerita anak dan suara riri story, tumbang balita, buku dongeng anak dan masih banyak aplikasi lainnya yang dapat diunduh secara gratis di play store dan App Store. Dalam aplikasi tersebut anak-anak dapat mendengarkan cerita menonton video dan membaca cerita-cerita menarik untuk balita dan anak-anak.Kata kunci: Gadget; Buku Digital; anak;  Pemanfaatan; Minat Baca

Abstract

Herbal Medicine Shop is a business engaged in the concoction of healthy herbal herbal drinks. which processes a beverage product in the form of a concoction to become a ready-to-drink drink. All activities in the herbal herbal shop business from stock of goods, marketing to sales transactions are still carried out manually, namely by recording in books/papers. To overcome these problems, the author designs e-commerce application for selling S Herbal Herbs based on a website in the Herbal Medicine Business Using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) Method. Then the data collection method used by the author is interviews and observation. The approach method used is an object-oriented system approach with system design tools using the Unified Modeling Language (UML). There are several tools used to build this application, namely Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP), MySQL for the database then Sublime Text is used to write the program code. The expected goal in building this e-commerce application is to help manage stock data, customer data, order data and sales transactions at the Sidomuncul herbal herbal shop business. With this e-commerce application, it can facilitate transactions with high speed compared to previous transactions, and can shorten the time and place in conducting transactions.

Abstract

Mathematics learning in schools more often uses the lecture method and does not provide opportunities for students to construct their knowledge. In learning, students tend to be passive in receiving material from the teacher because students only memorize formulas instead of understanding them so that students' interest in learning mathematics is low. This resulted in the low learning outcomes of students' mathematics. This study aims to determine how to apply the guided discovery method so that there is an increase in students' learning activities and mathematics outcomes. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR) with data collection techniques through student activity observation sheets and learning outcomes tests. The research subjects were all students of class VIIIG SMPN 2 Bengkulu City. The results showed that the application of the guided discovery method could improve students' learning activities and mathematics outcomes. The increase in activity and student learning outcomes can be seen from the increase in the average score of two observers where in the first cycle, namely 27 (sufficient criteria), the second cycle increased to 39 (good criteria), and the third cycle increased again to 46.5 (good criteria). Meanwhile, the increase in student learning outcomes can be seen from the increase in the average score of students from cycle I to cycle III, namely: 73.3; 79.1; and 85.81 with the percentage of classical learning completeness from cycle I to cycle III, namely: 52.78%; 72.22%; and 94.44%.

Abstract

The canva application is a medium that can support the learning process visually and train students’ visual literacy skills. Canva is an online design that provides various editing tools to create various graphic designs, such as posters, flyers, infographics, banners, invitation cards, presentations, facebook covers, and others, including being a tool editing photos because there is a photo editor, photo filters, photo frames, stickers, icons and grid designs, which is easy to understand even if you are still a beginner. Not only that, Canva can also be accessed via desktop and mobile devices. Thus, users can be creative anytime and anywhere. In everyday life, presentation assignment for students are often chosen by Presentation Material because it can assess students cognitively, affectively, and psychomotorically. Starting from assessing group work, evaluating products, generally in the form of papers and power point files to be presented, speaking skills in front of the class, team cohesion, ability to answer questions, to student behavior during presentations. It’s complete and one more thing is very light because the Presentation Material is all you have to do it sit back, occasionally talk, take your grades, while the students explore the class during the presentation activities. Based on this background, lecturer representatives from the Informatics Engineering study program intend to hold activities aimed at holding training activities for making slides for presentation material for English subjects, using the canva application as a learning medium for Presentation Material at YPUI Vocational School Parung. The solution offered is counseling and training in making presentation slides using the canva application Pamulang University, as a leading campus in the IT field, through this program can provide free training on software processing skills. Participants in this activity were 10-30 people, all of whom were presentation materials at YPUI Vocational School Parung. It is hoped that in the future the limited 10-30 participants can relate learning media in schools.
