Abstract

Infants aged 0-6 months who are only given Mother's Milk (ASI), whether drinks, liquids or additional food have never been given, it means that the baby has received exclusive breastfeeding. Various factors cause the low success of exclusive breastfeeding including breastfeeding self-efficacy (BSE). Breastfeeding self-efficacy (BSE) is a person's confidence in breastfeeding, this feeling can increase motivation. Another thing expressed by Breasfeeding self-efficacy (BSE) is related to the perception of the ability to provide breast milk. Handling is needed in increasing this knowledge through peer education. This research method is quasi-experimental with a one group pre-post test approach. The population in this study were third trimester pregnant women. The sampling technique was total sampling. All pregnant women who came to visit the LMT Siregar Clinic in September 2022 were used as research samples, namely 27 people. The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of peer education on increasing BSE mothers. The research location was at the Siregar LMT Clinic during August-November 2022. The results of the study found that there was significant effectiveness in providing peer counseling education (education) to BSE at the Siregar LMT Clinic with a p-value of 0.033 (p-value <0.05). The recommendation in this study is that peers can be empowered in maternal and child health education methods in health services

Abstract

Children who experience less nutrition and malnutrition will impact seriously against future generations, children who suffer from nutritional deficiency will have physical growth and impaired mental development. Nutritional causes less not only due to the lack of food but also because of infectious diseases. Children who get good food but because the sore often diarrhea or fever can suffer from diseases less nutrition. This research aims to know the factors associated with childhood nutritional Status in the region Harian Dolok Sub Health Center Sigompulon 2016. This type of research is survey design the research design with a cross secsional. The population in this research is all the toddlers who visit clinics in Harian from January to March 2016-2016 as much as 2369 toddlers. The sample contained as many as 71 people are toddlers. Data analysis using univariate analysis, bivariat and multivariate. The results showed that there is a relationship between the knowledge of mothers withtoddlers nutritional status (p = 0,009), there is no relationship to economic status with toddler nutritional status (p = 0.107), there is a relation of exclusive breast feeding with toddler nutritional status (p =<0.001), there is no relationship of completeness of immunization with toddler nutritional status (p = 0,821), there is a relationship between disease companion with the nutritional status of children (p =<0.001), there is a connection with the feeding patterns of nutritional toddler status (p = <0.001) , The most dominant variables related to nutritional status is a pattern toddler feeding (p = <0.001; OR = 6.995% CI 2,806-22,805) means that the feeding patterns of less risky opportunities either have 6.9 timeslarger toddlers experiencing less nutrition than a good feeding pattern. Thus to the mother of a toddler so you can pay attention to childhood eating patterns, as well as data give breast milk to infants from the age of 0-6 months so that the toddler suffered no less nutritional status

Abstract

Reproductive health problems faced by women at this time was the increasing infection of the reproductive organs, which ultimately cause cancer. One of the diseases that can interfere with the health of the female reproductive organ is the cervical cancer is the cancer most often strikes women around the world.The purpose of this research is to know the factors that relate to interest WUS do early detection of cervical cancer in the clinic of Cape Town High Marulak Cliff-2017. The type of research conducted with the analytic study is cross-sectional. Research conducted at health centers in Cape Town Marulak high cliff.This research population is WUS Marulak City health centers in high cliffs that have been married asmany as 250 people and as many as 71 samples of respondents. Research results retrieved 1) there is a relationship of parity with the WUS interest do the early detection of cervical cancer (p = 0.05);2) there is a connection with an interest in knowledge WUS do early detection of cervical cancer (p = 0.000);3) no relationship with contraception usage WUS interest do the early detection of cervical cancer (p = 0.875);4) no relationship history of smoking with WUS interest do the early detection of cervical cancer (p = 0.185); 5) not having sex at a young age with an interest in WUS do early detection of cervical cancer (p = 0.061). From the results it can be concluded that there is a relationship of age, education, parity, attitude and knowledge interests WUS do early detection of cancers of the neck and no relationship contraception usage, history of smoking and do sexual at a young age with an interest in doing the early detection of cervical cancer. From these results it is recommended that Puskesmas Tanjung Marulak Kota Tebing Tinggi increase health education activities about early detection of cervical cancer to the WUS through counseling or a direct home-home of engage WUS to do early detection of cancer of the neck while for WUS to do early detection of cervical cancer
