Abstract

During the last years, the most of educational institution have applying e-learning, however it is becoming not in line for social changes and educational progress. Hence, redesign the educational system is strong required. At the same time, Cloud computing is growing rapidly and created a global phenomenon on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) which playing cross over in any area, including education and often called Cloud Learning. In this paper we elaborate why cloud learning is widely accepted today, what considerable risk when adopting this practices, and what about the business model on Cloud Learning.

Abstract

Abstract— Testing a software is an important stage of a series of software development. Functional testing of each feature on the Angkasa website is intended to try out the function to match the required specifications. To achieve a functional test result, there are elements of features on the web page that require keywords. These keywords are used to perform actions or actions in running a web page, these keywords will help in making Test Cases for the testing process. Because it takes the right keywords to test on the web. To overcome this problem, this study analyzes the use of the Keyword Driven Testing approach for making Test Cases through the Katalon Studio tools. Keyword Driven Testing is one of the concepts in ISO/IEC/IEEE 29119, namely Keyword Driven Testing in The Test Design Process. The results of the analysis show that making Test Cases with Keyword Driven testing is easier to understand and is fully supported by the Katalon Studio tools. However, when creating test cases, not all keywords can be added automatically, so they need to be added manually.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat kali ini melanjutkan road maps penelitian yang sudah dikembangkan sebelumnya, dimana kegiatan sebelumnya berhasil mengembangkan aplikasi Learning Management System (LMS) pada PT. Kharisma Printex Bandung. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat kali ini bertujuan mengembangkan modul pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi microsoft powerpoint dalam menyusun materi ajar pada LMS PT. Kharisma Printex Bandung. Modul yang berhasil dikembangkan terdiri dari lima bab pembelajaran yaitu bab pembelajaran terkait pengenalan aplikasi, bab pembelajaran untuk menghias slide presentasi, bab pembelajaran untuk memasukkan teks, bab pembelajaran yang berisikan tips and trick agar presentasi lebih hidup, dan bab terakhir terkait dengan bagaimana cara membawakan presentasi. Metodologi dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini merujuk kepada metodologi penelitian research and development (R&D) yang meliputi 5 langkah : (1) potensi dan masalah, (2) pengumpulan informasi, (3) desain produk, (4) validasi produk, dan (5) revisi produk. Kegiatan ini menggunakan analisis diagram tulang ikan dengan subjek adalah stakeholder dari PT. Kharisma Printex Bandung, adanya revisi yang dibutuhkan sesuai kebutuhan dari perusahaan sampai akhirnya menghasilkan modul “pelatihan penyusunan materi ajar menggunakan microsoft powerpoint pada PT. Kharisma Printex”. Evaluasi dari kegiatan ini menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada pimpinan dari PT. Kharisma Printex Bandung. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan para pimpinan setuju dengan kegiatan dan modul yang dihasilkan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini.Kata Kunci: modul, learning management system, presentasi

Abstract

Gowes Virtual sebuah aplikasi yang dikembangkan tim project Wrap Entrpreneurship Universitas Telkom, target pengguna hanya baru mahasiswa maupun seseorang yang berkunjung ke Universitas Telkom. Aplikasi ini dibuat untuk Virtual Tour Universitas Telkom sambil berolahraga ketika terkendala dengan cuaca hujan ataupun ada rasa malas keluar ruangan. aplikasi ini disajikan berupa tampilan tiga Dimensi yang berlatar belakang Universitas Telkom maupun pemandangan kota-kota di Indonesia, agar lebih termotivasi lagi jika ingin bersepeda, pada perkembangan kedepannya ada berupa fitur Multiplayer dimana pengguna bisa bersepeda bersama. Oleh karena itu penulis merancang aplikasi tersebut dimulai dengan desain User Interface yang menarik dan mudah dipahami oleh pengguna, Pengujian ini sendiri menggunakan metode User Centered Design (UCD) untuk melakukan pendekatan terhadap calon pengguna. Dalam pengujian desain itu sendiri mengacu pada Single Ease Question (SEQ) merupakan salah satu Post Task Questionnaire yang digunakan dalam menilai tingkat kemudahan pada suatu fitur produk berdasarkan pengalaman user. Prototipe yang dibangun mendapatkan presentase pengujian skala 6 sebesar 58% dan skala rata-rata sebesar 6,36 yang mana memiliki tingkat kemudahan yang mudah. Hal ini melebihi skala yang telah ditentukan sebelumnya yaitu usability lebih besar sama dengan 5,6. Kata Kunci: User Interface, Gowes Virtual, User Centered Design,Universitas Telkom, Desain.

Abstract

Automation testing is much more efficient and accurate, the script is easy to document, and update compared to manual testing. Testing a website may necessitate time and effort to learn the tools to be used. Cucumber and Robot Framework are well-known open-source frameworks, according to Stack Overflow and GitHub. Cucumber and Robot Framework are known on an international scale, especially Robot Framework, which is often used by large companies. Each uses the Java and Python languages, which both support BDD. The comparative efforts of the two tools aim to help testers compare and determine automated testing tools in the BisOps Logee Port Web Admin case study based on the effectiveness and efficiency of the tools and create specific test cases as test documentation so that testers do not need to spend time analyzing both. Because this research involves evaluation and comparison, several criteria were chosen to support the evaluation process, namely functionality, reliability, usability, performance efficiency, and portability. The results of this study show that both tools can be recommended for novice QA's who want to learn the basics of automation by implementing BDD. Meanwhile, for QA's who have done automation before and want to do more in-depth configuration and reporting, it is recommended to use Robot Framework because the syntax is short, has lots of keywords that make it easier for testers, and can make the testing system shorter but more specific.
