Abstract

Historically, mosque is the center for human civilization with various activities covering social, economy, and culture. However, its function have been shifted and specialized into a place of worship.  This paper aims to describe the contribution of the great mosque of Attaqwa Pancor in social economic empowerment, particularly small businesses in Pancor, East Lombok, Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB). The Data are collected through observation, interview, and document study. The result of the analysis shows that mosque involvement in the small-scale economic activities has brought them to be free from the difficulty of capital access and dependence. In the first stage, that is the period of 2019 to August 2020, through Mawar Emas program, total of 80 small-traders in Pancor village was helped to be free from debt problems. The great mosque of Attaqwa which is supported by Indonesia Sharia Economic Community (Masyarakat Ekonomi Syariah, MES) were successfully distributing the total amount of 80 million rupiahs for the small business purposes. The existence of the Attaqwa mosque proves and affirms that religious institutions can contribute to the social economic development. Considering the strategic position, this paper suggests the need for institutional reinforcement of mosque to restore its broad role in addition to religious issues.JEL Classification:  A13; O15; Z12

Abstract

The rapid development of technology in various fields demands quality human resources. Educational institutions as of the institutions that provide quality graduates have to improve. At UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, the International Class Program (ICP) is an effort to prepare students to answer these challenges. However, not all students are enthusiastic about participating in the program, especially students of the Social Sciences Education study program. The purpose of this article is to determine what factors influence Social Studies Education students in choosing the ICP and what factors are the most dominant. The approach in this article uses quantitative with the type of exploratory research. The sample in this study were students of Social Studies Education Fakultas Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang Class of 2018, 2019, and 2020 with a total of 195 students. The data collection instrument used a questionnaire. The analysis technique used is factor analysis with KMO, MSA, Communality, Total Variance Explained, and Rotated Component Matrix analysis. The results showed that the factors that influenced students' interest in ICP consisted of 26 factors. These factors formed 4 different factors: the first is the prospect factor with a total factor load of 5,147 with a percentage of 39%. Second, the motivation and support factors with a total factor load of 5,134 with a percentage of 39%. Third, the talent and ability factor with a total factor load of 1,420 with a percentage of 11%. Fourth, the factor of program costs with a total factor load of 1,388 with a percentage of 11%. Thus, it can be concluded that the factor that has the greatest influence on student interest in ICP is the prospect factor. Abstrak Perkembangan teknologi yang pesat di berbagai bidang menuntut sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas. Institusi pendidikan menjadi salah satu lembaga penyedia lulusan yang berkualitas harus tetap berbenah. Di UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, International Class Program (ICP) merupakan upaya untuk mempersiapkan mahasiswa menjawab tantangan tersebut. Namun tidak semua mahasiswa antusias mengikuti program tersebut, terutama mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan IPS. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor apa sajakah yang mempengaruhi mahasiswa Pendidikan IPS dalam memilih program ICP dan faktor apa sajakah yang paling dominan. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksploratif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan IPS Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang Angkatan 2018, 2019 dan 2020 dengan jumlah 195 mahasiswa. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis faktor dengan uji KMO, MSA, Communality, Total Variance Explained, dan Analisis Rotated Component Matrix. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi minat mahasiswa terhadap ICP terdiri dari 26 faktor. Dari factor tersebut terbentuk 4 faktor yang berbeda: yang pertama adalah faktor prospek dengan jumlah muatan faktor sebesar 5.147 dengan presentase sebesar 39%. Kedua, faktor motivasi dan dukungan dengan jumlah muatan faktor sebesar 5.134 dengan presentase sebesar 39%. Ketiga, faktor bakat dan kemampuan dengan jumlah muatan faktor sebesar 1.420 dengan presentase sebesar 11% serta yang keempat faktor biaya program dengan jumlah muatan faktor sebesar 1.388 dengan presentase sebesar 11%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa faktor yang memberikan pengaruh paling besar mengenai minat mahasiswa terhadap ICP adalah faktor prospek.

Abstract

Social attitudes are values or attitudes that describe human relationships with other humans or the surrounding environment. However, nowadays social attitudes in students are starting to fade due to several factors, one of which is the covid 19 pandemic. The problems that arise start from the lack of etiquette in speaking, the choice of caring attitude, responsibility, and discipline. So, with some problems that arise, teachers need to have a strategy to solve problems social attitudes in class VII students of MTsN 6 Blitar. The purpose of this study were to determine: (1) the social attitudes of seventh grade students at MTSN 6 Blitar; (2) the strategy of social science teachers in overcoming the problems of social attitudes of class VII students; (3) the driving and inhibiting factors of social studies teachers in overcoming the problem of social attitudes of class VII MTSN 6 Blitar students. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type, with the main data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis technique used is data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that social science teachers used an active learning strategy with two processes, namely habituation patterns and modeling patterns, with the driving factors being the environment and parents while the inhibiting factors were parents, environment, and peers. Abstrak Sikap sosial merupakan nilai atau sikap yang menggambarkan hubungan manusia dengan manusia lain ataupun lingkungan sekitarnya. Namun, pada zaman sekarang sikap sosial pada siswa mulai memudar dikarenakan adanya beberapa faktor, salah satunya yaitu pandemi covid 19. Permasalahan-permasalahan yang muncul mulai dari kurangnya adab berbicara, hilangnya sikap kepedulian, tanggung jawab, dan kedisplinan. Maka, dengan adanya beberapa permasalahan yang muncul guru perlu mempunyai strategi untuk mengatasi permasalahan sikap sosial dalam diri siswa kelas VII MTsN 6 Blitar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui : (1) sikap sosial siswa kelas VII MTSN 6 Blitar; (2) strategi guru IPS dalam mengatasi permasalahan sikap sosial siswa kelas VII; (3) faktor pendorong dan penghambat guru ips dalam mengatasi permasalahan sikap sosial siswa kelas VII MTSN 6 Blitar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif, dengan pengambilan data utama melalui obervasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis yang digunakan ialah pengumpulan data, kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru ips menggunakan strategi pembelajaran aktif dengan dua proses yaitu pola pembiasaan dan pola pemberian contoh (modeling), dengan faktor pendorong yaitu lingkungan dan orangtua sedangkan faktor penghambat adalah orangtua, lingkungan, dan teman sebaya.

Abstract

Online learning during the pandemic provides awareness that education requires good collaboration between parents (family) and schools. In approximately two years, the application of learning from home became an important moment for strengthening family and school collaboration to carry out learning. This study aims to map the challenges faced by both the family and the school to collaborate, especially in the face of online learning. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data were obtained in 3 primary schools through interviews and observations with data sources of 30 parents, nine teachers, six school committees, and three principals. Data analysis using qualitative analysis. The results showed three problems that became challenges for collaboration between families and schools, including academic, social, and economic problems. These three challenges need to be solved by the commitment of schools and families to develop the welfare of children in schools

Abstract

Some students of MTs Sunan Kalijogo have a hobby of playing online games and even getting to the stage of addiction which has an impact on frequently violating school rules, especially being late due to playing online games. The aims of this study are: (1) to explain the impact of online game addiction on the solidarity of MTs Sunan Kalijogo students, Malang City. (2) explain the motivation that causes MTs Sunan Kalijogo students to become addicted to online games. (3) explaining the efforts made by MTs teacher Sunan Kalijogo in overcoming students' addiction to online games. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method. The resource persons in this study were the students of MTs Sunan Kalijogo who were indicated to be addicted to online games and the teachers as informants. Data collection techniques applied in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis in this study uses data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and data conclusions or verification. The results of this study reveal that online game addiction has a positive impact on social solidarity, namely: forming a community, being prosocial among fellow gamers, and practicing teamwork. While the negative impacts include: often being late for school, lack of sense of social care, often ignoring friends who don't play online games, often berating teammates, and can trigger conflicts with parents. Their motivation for playing online games comes from themselves and others. The efforts of the MTs Sunan Kalijogo teacher in overcoming students' addiction to online games are to limit the use of gadgets at school and provide assistance in the use of gadgets when in class. Abstrak Beberapa Siswa MTs Sunan Kalijogo memiliki hobi bermain game online bahkan sampai tahap kecanduan yang berdampak pada sering melanggar peraturan sekolah terutama terlambat dikarenakan main game online. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu: (1) menjelaskan dampak kecanduan game online terhadap solidaritas siswa MTs Sunan Kalijogo Kota Malang. (2) menjelaskan motivasi yang menyebabkan siswa MTs Sunan Kalijogo Kecanduan Game Online. (3) menjelaskan upaya yang dilakukan oleh guru MTs Sunan Kalijogo dalam mengatasi siswa kecanduan game online. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Narasumber pada penelitian ini adalah dari para siswa MTs Sunan Kalijogo yang terindikasi kecanduan game online dan para guru sebagai informan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang diaplikasikan dalam penelitian ini yakni observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pengumpulan data, kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan data atau verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa kecanduan game online memiliki dampak positif terhadap solidaritas sosial yaitu: membentuk komunitas, prososial antar sesame gamer, dan melatih kerjasama tim. Sedangkan dampak negatif antara lain: sering terlambat masuk sekolah, kurangnya rasa kepedulian sosial, sering acuh pada teman yang tidak bermain game online, sering mencaci teman satu tim, dan dapat memicu konflik dengan orang tua. Adapun motivasi mereka bermain game online berasal dari diri sendiri dan orang lain. Upaya guru MTs Sunan Kalijogo dalam mengatasi siswa kecanduan game online adalah dengan membatasi penggunaan gadget di sekolah serta melakukan pendampingan pemakaian gadget ketika di dalam kelas.

Abstract

The education component is a benchmark and determinant of the quality of education. Educators and students are key holders of the expected quality of education. However, problems are often found that educators are often still the main holders, while students are often not active in learning. Therefore, in this case, a solution is needed with the application of the 2013 curriculum scientific learning model which focuses on learning on student activity and is expected to change every learning activity to be meaningful for every student to improve the quality of education and the components in it. The focus of research in this study is how to plan, implement, and hinder the implementation of the Discovery Learning learning model in history subjects at MA Bilingual Batu. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques used observation, documentation, and interviews with sources namely the history subject and several students of class XI-IPS 1. The data analysis used in this research is using Miles and Huberman interactive data analysis, which consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The planning of the Discovery Learning learning model has been classified as very good and it can be said that the implementation is in accordance with the Discovery Learning learning model as it should be, (2) The implementation of the Discovery Learning learning model can be carried out properly and is conducive to the expected learning objectives, (3) There are several obstacles faced in the implementation of the Discovery Learning learning model, namely in terms of learning time, Discovery Learning takes a long time, there are differences in students' abilities and conditions in receiving learning, and not all students are ready to accept the Discovery Learning learning model. Abstrak Komponen pendidikan merupakan tolok ukur dan penentu kualitas pendidikan. Tenaga pendidik dan peserta didik merupakan pemegang kunci kualitas pendidikan yang diharapkan. Namun, kerap kali ditemukan permasalahan bahwa tenaga pendidik kerap kali masih menjadi pemegang utama, sedangkan siswa sering tidak aktif dalam pembelajaran. Maka dari itu, dalam hal ini dibutuhkan solusi dengan adanya penerapan model pembelajaran saintifik kurikulum 2013 yang memfokuskan pembelajaran pada keaktifan siswa dan diharapkan dapat mengubah setiap kegiatan pembelajaran menjadi bermakna bagi setiap siswa untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan beserta komponen di dalamnya. Adapun fokus penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan hambatan dalam pelaksanaan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning pada mata pelajaran sejarah di MA Bilingual Batu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara dengan narasumber yaitu guru mata pelajaran sejarah dan beberapa siswa kelas XI-IPS 1. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data interaktif Miles dan Huberman, yang terdiri dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Perencanaan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning sudah tergolong sangat baik dan dapat dikatakan bahwa pelaksanaan tersebut sesuai dengan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning semestinya, (2) Implementasi model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dapat terlaksana dengan baik dan kondusif sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran yang diharapkan, (3) Hambatan yang dihadapi dalam implementasi model pembelajaran Discovery Learning terdapat beberapa hal, yaitu dalam segi waktu pembelajaran Discovery Learning membutuhkan waktu yang cukup lama, adanya perbedaan kemampuan dan kondisi siswa dalam menerima pembelajaran, dan tidak semua peserta didik siap untuk menerima model pembelajaran Discovery Learning.
