Abstract

This research aimed to develop the good strategy in the development of seaweed cultivation. The research was implemented in Lalombi Village, Sub District of South Banawa, Donggala Regency, Province of Central Sulawesi.  About 60 people are active as the seaweed farmers which 6 farmers is taken from respondent and 2 people from relevant agencies so overall there are 8 people as respondents with the determination of respondent were calculated using judgment sampling, the respondents chose the most right to provide information needed. Respondents are determined based on the assumption that they could still represent the population characteristics of seaweed farmers. Based on the results of the research identified from internal factors, there are five strengths and five weaknesses, and for the external environmental factors there are five chances and five threats. Combination value IFE is 2.76 and value of EFE is 2.25 in the IE matrix shows that the position of the business in V cells, the growth through horizontal integration, an activity to develop the business by way of utilizing land resources more leverage and increase value by be processed seaweed derived products. Strategy development of seaweed cultivation in the village lalombi is optimize production, provide counseling and gradually expand seaweed cultivation area.

Abstract

The objectives of the research was to analyze the influence of price, taste, color, texture and size of imported apple fruit on consumers’ preferences and on the purchase of the fruit, and to analyze the influence of attributes to the purchase of the fruit in Hypermart Palu Grand Mall.  The research location was purposively determined in Hypermart considering that itis the largest site where imported fruit are sold in Palu city.  Samples of 50 people were selected using an Accidental Sampling method based on spontaneity factor.  The results of analysis showed that the coefficient of attribute lines of price, taste, color, texture, and size statistically affected the volume of the imported apple sold in the Mall.  The variables (Xi) of price, taste, color, texture and size simultaneously affected the purchase variable (Y) significantly at 87.7% or R2 = 0.877 whereas the effect of other factors not included in this research was 0.123 or 12.3%.  The proportional effects on the fruit purchase for the taste variable was 0.799 or 79.9, the size was 0.023 or 2.3%, the color was 0.021 or 2.1%, the texture 0.016 or 1.6% and the price was 0.019 or 1.9%.Keywords : Consumer Preferences,  and Imported Apple Fruits.

Abstract

Pemasaran sangat menentukan kinerja usahatani dan pendapatan petani bawang merah varietas lembah palu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui tataniaga komoditas bawang merah lembah palu dan serta fungsi pemasaran tiap lembaga. Penentuan responden petani dengan cara sensus yaitu mengambil keseluruhan populasi untuk dijadikan sampel sebanyak 18 responden petani, penentuan responden mitra dan pedagang dengan cara penjajakan yaitu 1 mitra, 1 pedagang pengumpul, dan 2 pedagang pengecer. Hasil analisis menjukkan bahwa terdapat dua bentuk tataniaga pemasaran bawang merah di Kecamatan Palu Utara Kota Palu yaitu: (1) Petani menjual bawang merah kepada mitra kemudian mitra menjual kembali ke konsumen akhir, (2) Petani menjual kepada pedagang pengumpul lalu pedagang pengumpul menjual kepada pedagang pengecer dan pedagang pengecer menjual ke konsumen akhir. Margin total pemasaran saluran pertama yaitu Rp45.000/kg dan margin total pemasaran saluran kedua yaitu Rp15.000/kg. Bagian harga yang diterima petani pada saluran pertama yaitu sebesar 50% dan bagian harga pada saluran kedua yaitu sebesar 72,73%. Selain itu terdapat berbagai fungsi pemasaran yang berbeda pada tiap lembaga yang terlibat.

Abstract

Kakao merupakan komoditi ekspor yang banyak dibudidayakan para petani di Polewali Mandar, pada masa pandemi Covid-19 pola distribusi kakao terhambat yang mempengaruhi produksi dan harga kakao menurun. Menjadi faktor petani beralih ke pola tanamn tumpang sari jagung dan bayam. Tujuan penelitian untuk melihat pendapatan dan efisiensi ushatani pola tanam tumpang sari dan monokultur. Metode: Penentuan lokasi dilakukan secara sengaja (purposive), jumlah responden yang melakukan pola usahatani atau alih dari kakao ke jagung dan bayam di Kecamatan Binuang, yang dijadikan sampel sebanyak 36 petani. Teknik pengumpulan data, observasi langsung, wawancara dan penyebaran kuesioner penelitian. Hasil: Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis pendapatan dan R/C ratio, di dapatkan pendapatan komoditi kakao pada masa pandemi Rp. 4.550.933,- per satu kali musim panen setiap 3-4 bulan sekali, ketika petani beralih ke tumpang sari komoditi jagung Rp. 11.880.000,-. per satu kali musim setiap tiga bulan sekali, dengan nilai tambah komoditi sela bayam Rp. 671.810,- satu kali musim panen setiap 4-6 minggu. Dengan nilai R/C ratio untuk komoditi kakao 1,4, jagung 1,9 dan bayam 3,2. Kesimpulan: (1) Terjadi peningkatan pendapatan ketika petani merubah pola tanaman tumpang sari sebesar Rp. 8.000.877 per/ha dari pola tanamn monokultur, (2) Nilai R/C Ratio meningkat sebesar untuk tanaman jagung 0.5, dan nilai R/C Ratio tanaman bayam sebesar 1,8, menunjukan petani lebih layak ketika beralih ke pola tanam tumpang sari pada transisi pandemi C-19.
