Abstract

Abstrak: Upaya pengendalian Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) melalui pemutusan siklus penularan DBD yaitu mencegah gigitan nyamuk Aedes aegypti. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan mengendalikan dan mencegah DBD melalui Pemberantasan Sarang Nyamuk (PSN) 3M Plus. DBD masih meningkat dan menjadi masalah kesehatan yang tersebar di 5 desa di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Margaasih.  Tahun 2014 - 2017 DBD mencapai 93 kasus dengan kematian 5 orang. Dari 22 RW kasus tertinggi terjadi di desa Margaasih terutama di RW 05 dan RW 13, yaitu sebanyak  30 kasus dan 3 orang diantaranya meninggal dunia. Kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat dalam mencegah DBD melalui kegiatan PSN 3M Plus menjadi penyebab DBD terus meningkat setiap tahunnya. Hal ini sesuai penelitian Ratna bahwa ada hubungan antara kegiatan menguras dan menutup penampungan air, memanfaatkan barang bekas yang dapat menampung air dan kebiasaan menggantung baju dengan kejadian DBD. Kegiatan Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan metode penyuluhan. Penyuluhan diikuti oleh kader sebagai agent of change dalam mempercepat optimalisasi pelaksanaan PSN 3M Plus. Sebagian kader (70%) mempunyai pengetahuan yang baik setelah mengikuti penyuluhan. Kader diharapkan mampu mengaplikasikan peran sebagai agent of change dengan baik sehingga DBD bias ditekan dengan PSN 3M Plus.Abstract: Efforts to control Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) are through breaking the dengue transmission cycle, namely preventing the bite of Aedes aegypti mosquitoes. This community service aims to control and prevent dengue through the 3M Plus Mosquito Nest Eradication (PSN). DHF is still increasing and is a health problem that is spread across 5 villages in the working area of the Margaasih Puskesmas. In 2014 - 2017 DHF reached 93 cases with 5 deaths. Of the 22 RWs, the highest cases occurred in Margaasih village, especially in RW 05 and RW 13, with 30 cases and 3 of them died. Lack of public awareness in preventing dengue through the 3M Plus PSN activities is the cause of dengue fever to continue to increase every year. This is consistent with Ratna's research that there is a relationship between draining and closing water reservoirs, utilizing used items that can hold water and hanging clothes with the incidence of dengue fever. This community service activity is carried out by means of extension methods. Counseling was followed by cadres as agents of change in accelerating the optimization of the implementation of the 3M Plus PSN. Some cadres (70%) have good knowledge after attending counseling. Cadres are expected to be able to apply their role as agent of change well so that DHF can be suppressed by the 3M Plus PSN.

Abstract

Hospitals are one of the health services that are required to improve the quality of services that depend on the ability of human resources (HR). Therefore, planning HR needs must be calculated precisely based on needs. There are various approaches to calculating health workers, including the WISN method, where the calculation is based on workload. The purpose of this community service is to socialize the WISN software from WHO. This activity partnered with three hospitals, namely RSUD Subang with 16 people, RSUD Dr Slamet Garut with 18 participants, and RSUD Kota Bandung with 17 people. The activity is in progress from November to December 2023 and is carried out hybridly. The offline meeting was given a pre-test, then WISN socialization was carried out, and at the end, a post-test was given. Meanwhile, the online meeting invited speakers related to the WISN software application technicalities through the Zoom meeting application. Participants who attended were 51 people, consisting of hospital management. The pre-test results showed a mean value of 8.92 while the post-test value was 11.00, and the T-test results obtained a value of 0.02 (sig >0.05), meaning that there was an increase between the pre-test and post-test with an average increase of 2.29. The workshops and trainings went well. The hospital plans to calculate the workload using the WISN software as a comparison with the existing methods in the hospital.
