Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether a company's size, profitability, and level of corporate governance affect its overall value. The method that the researchers in this study have selected is called purposeful sampling. The IDX-30 enterprises that are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange comprise the population of this study. The data used in this study are secondary. Two methods are available to researchers for gathering the data for analysis: documentation and a review of existing literature. This study's analytical approach makes use of quantitative analysis methods that are handled by SPSS. This study employed traditional assumption test analysis, model testing, and hypothesis testing. The following conclusion can be drawn from the presented research results: The value of the corporation is unaffected by good corporate governance as demonstrated by independent commissioners. There is no correlation between management ownership and good corporate governance and the value of the company. There is no correlation between institutional ownership and good corporate governance and a company's worth. The ROA's projection of profitability affects the company's worth. The ROE's projection of profitability raises the value of the enterprise. The worth of a corporation is independent of its size.

Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) play a crucial role in a country's economy. In the era of globalization and digitalization, SMEs need to innovate to remain competitive. This is because SMEs often face various challenges that hinder their business growth and sustainability. This research aims to explore business innovation strategies that can be applied by SMEs and how community empowerment can support the increase of income and quality of life. This research is a literature review with a qualitative approach and descriptive analysis. Descriptive analysis is used to describe and summarize findings from articles collected from Google Scholar for the period 2001-2024. The results of the study indicate that in the constantly changing economic dynamics, business innovation is key to the sustainability and advancement of SMEs. Although SMEs play a vital role in the economy, they often face challenges such as limited resources, access to capital, and lack of awareness of the importance of innovation in facing increasingly fierce global competition. To address these challenges, community empowerment and business innovation development become essential strategies. Therefore, recommendations from this study include enhancing community empowerment through training, education, and access to resources to create an environment that supports SME growth and leveraging ICT to improve operational efficiency and expand SME market reach.

Abstract

Leadership is a key determinant of business success or failure, particularly in the context of entrepreneurship. Effective leaders can steer vision, inspire teams, and navigate challenges faced by new ventures. This research explores the role of interpersonal communication in cultivating leadership that positively impacts business performance, specifically within entrepreneurial contexts. The research methodology employed is a literature review using qualitative approaches and descriptive analysis. Google Scholar serves as the primary source for data retrieval spanning from 2017 to 2024. Findings indicate that interpersonal communication plays a crucial role in shaping effective leadership in dynamic and evolving entrepreneurial contexts. By fostering strong relationships, inspiring corporate vision, facilitating effective coordination, and managing conflicts wisely, interpersonal communication serves not only as a tool for transmitting information but also as a foundation supporting long-term business success and growth.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menginvestigasi potensi pajak daerah pada objek wisata di Malang, Jawa Timur, sebagai sarana untuk meningkatkan Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD). Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui survei yang diberikan kepada 170 wisatawan yang mengunjungi berbagai objek wisata di Malang. Penelitian ini menguji hubungan antara kebijakan perpajakan, perilaku wisatawan, dan PAD dengan menggunakan analisis korelasi dan regresi. Temuan ini menunjukkan adanya korelasi positif yang signifikan antara kebijakan perpajakan dan PAD, yang mengindikasikan bahwa persepsi yang baik terhadap kebijakan perpajakan berhubungan dengan tingkat pendapatan daerah yang lebih tinggi. Selain itu, pengeluaran dan kedatangan wisatawan ditemukan sebagai prediktor yang signifikan terhadap PAD, yang menekankan pentingnya pariwisata secara ekonomi dalam mendorong pembangunan daerah. Namun, pola pengeluaran tidak menunjukkan dampak yang signifikan terhadap PAD. Hasil penelitian ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya strategi perpajakan yang efektif dalam meningkatkan pendapatan dari sektor pariwisata untuk pembangunan daerah yang berkelanjutan di Malang.
