Abstract

This paper deal with the challenges in and approaches to bringing about both and integration in multiethnic Indonesia’s people life. Till now, some challenges in national integration are still found in forms of: SARA (ethnicity, religion, and inter-group)-based social conflicts, fake news (hoax), hate speeches (e.g. Saracen), radical movements, separatism movements, etc. These are due to inequality n social-economic development, low awareness of some elements of the state, and allegedly discriminative practices. Overcoming the multi-dimension problems needs genuine commitment, hard work, allegiance to the Constitusion and Pancasila (Indonesia’s ideological principles) as the state foundation, and awareness of the whole elements of the nation. To analyze deeply the phenomena relating to the callenges in and approaches to bringing about national integration, a library research method was used. Abstract

The aim of this literature review was to find out any topics which had discussed and researched scientifically according to behavior, perception, maternal, pregnancy, and labor, especially in 2015 - 2021. The method of literature review was descriptive quantitative. Literatures were tracked by using Mendeley, then selected and processed by using VOS Viewer. They were also manually processed according to completeness of each literature. Of the 4 main discussion clusters had been found, i.e. target clusters, mothers, risk groups, and health services, there were determined several main topics and keywords i.e: examination (care), mothers, factors, experiences, childbirth, and antenatal care. Meanwhile, topics those rarely discussed or researched were perceptions and adolescents. The most collected literatures were published in 2019 (29%), followed by 2020 (22%), and 2015 (15%). Most of the research or studies of the collected literatures were conducted descriptively and took research locations in Indonesia and African countries. Of the selected literatures rose basic assumption that the high maternal mortality rate, especially in Indonesia, is closely related to the lack of utilization of health facilitaties, as a result of the improper behavior of pregnant women in maintaining pregnancy and labor. This behavior is based on mindsets and perceptions related to pregnancy and labor, which have been formed since the pregnant women were teenagers. (9 pt).

Abstract

Offering the spirits in the ritual system of Northern Buddhism is a ritual performed daily for monks and an opportunity for Buddhists to participate in many different purposes. In it, there is an exchange between gain and loss while performing the ritual of offering the spirit. It could be said that based on the concepts and beliefs about ghosts and demons in Mong Son thi thuc - one of the important rites in the customs of Northern Buddhists - these rituals give us a deeper insight into the act of worshiping the souls. This research investigates the rational choice of Northern Buddhists in Ho Chi Minh City-based on Rational Choice Theory. Qualitative research methods such as fieldwork, in-depth interviews, qualitative analysis, and quantitative research by questionnaires have shown that there is rationality in the choice of worship the souls according to Mong Son thi thuc of Northern Buddhists among believers. In other words, there seems to be a desire to receive one or more benefits from this spirit offering. Rational Choice Theory has shown its applicability in the study of rituals, religions in particular, and in the research of the humanities and social sciences in general, which has received little attention in the past.

Abstract

Abtract: Indonesia is one of the fourth largest cassava producing countries in the world after Nigeria, Thailand and Brazil. The regions with the highest cassava producers in Indonesia include Lampung, Central Java, East Java, West Java and North Sumatra. However, increasing the high productivity of cassava without applying sustainable and sustainable cassava cultivation techniques can potentially cause damage to soil/agricultural land. This study discusses the factors and reasons behind farmers continuing to cultivate cassava, especially in areas located in one of the sub-districts in Bandung Regency, West Java. The method used in this study is a descriptive-explanatory qualitative method. The results showed that cassava planting activities have been carried out by farmers in this area for a long time, farmers plant cassava because cassava becomes a savings crop during the dry season. Easy planting and minimal capital are considered by farmers to plant cassava as an additional income for their farming business.
