Abstract

Penanaman di daerah  miring/ berbukit harus diapresiasi untuk mencegah erosi yang lebih parah dan juga meningkatkan fungsi tanaman sebagai penghasil oksigen. Hal ini dapat mengantisipasi terjadinya pemanasan global disebabkan banyaknya CO2 yang tak terserap oleh tanaman (Misan, dkk, 2015). Disamping itu lahan berbukit sebaiknya dikelola dengan benar agar fungsi daya dukungnya lestari, dapat bermanfaat untuk masyarakat secara berkesinambungan.Tujuan diselenggarakannya kegiatan pengabdian Masyarakat adalah: (1) Membantu penyediaan bahan tanam buah-buahan dan kayu sengon, (2) Memberikan informasi tentang perlunya bahaya lahan miring/ berbukit, (3) Membekali para santri dalam pertanian secara umum (4) Membekali para santri dalam pengelolaan lahan berbukit, (4)Memberikan pengetahuan dan latihan tentang cara-cara mengelola lahan sekitar pondok menjadi sumber pendapatan  bagi insan pondok.Hasil dari kegiatan ini antara lain program ini memberi arahan dalam pengeloaan lahan berbukit untuk pertanian sayuran dan buah serta tanaman lain dan tidak akan berdampak pada kerusakan lingkungan karena erosi. Sehingga lingkungan sekitarnya akan berfungsi dengan baik menjadi lahan yang dapat mendukung pondok secara lestari

Abstract

Lahan pekarangan menjadi lingkungan yang memberikan kenyamanan, estetika dan memberikan kesehatan apabila dipelihara dengan baik, diantaranya dengan memanfaatkannya sebagai lahan pertanaman hortikutura terutama tanaman yang dapat dikonsumsi sehari-hari. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan dengan tanaman hortikultura dan cara budidayanya, yang berdampak pada perbaikan gizi dan peningkatan pendapatan keluarga. Sasaran dari kegiatan ini adalah ibu-ibu PKK Desa Bakalan, Kecamatan Polokarto, Kabupaten Sukoharjo. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah penyuluhan dan diskusi, penyerahan benih dan bibit tanaman hortikultura dilanjutkan dengan pendampingan budidaya tanaman hortikultura di lahan pekarangan. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini antara lain meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang tanaman hortikultura terutama di lahan pekarangan yang sempit, meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan tentang cara budidaya tanaman hortikultura (sayuran dan tanaman hias) untuk lahan sempit. Hasil budidaya tanamannya juga dapat dimanfaatkan untuk gizi keluarga dan kelebihan hasil dapat dijual sehingga bisa menambah perekonomian keluarga.

Abstract

The research titled "Modification of Planting Media to Improve the Quality of Handeuleum (Graptophyllum Pictum L.) Seedling from Several Kinds of Cuttings Source", was conducted in Sukoharjo, Central of Java. The first treatment was the kind of cuttings source, namely: cuttings from the shoot (S1), cuttings from the second section (S2), and cuttings from the third section (S3). The second treatment factor is the kind of media: sandy soil media (M1), rockwool media (M2), and cocopeat media (M3). The data obtained were analyzed by using the F test at 5% and 1% significantly levels, while the follow-up test was carried out using Duncan's multiple range test at the 5% significantly level. The results obtained indicated that the S treatment (kind of cuttings source) had a significant effect on the variables of the number of branches, number of leaves, and leaf area of ​​each seedling. The highest number of branches and leaves was achieved in the S3 treatment (third section cuttings), followed by S2 (second section cuttings) and S1 (shoot cuttings) treatments. There were a significant difference between the treatments. In leaf area variables, the highest yield was achieved at S1 (shoot cuttings), followed by S2 and S3 which were significantly different between each other. Treatment S showed no significant effect on variables the appearance time of the buds, fresh weight of leaves and dry weight of leaves. The treatment of various media had a significant effect on the leaf area variables of each seedling. Cocopeat media (M3) produced the highest leaf area, followed by M1 (sand media), and M2 (rockwool media) treatments. There was no interaction between treatments of kind of cuttings source and types of media for all observed variables.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTrichoderma sp. merupakan jenis jamur yang umumnya banyak ditemui di area tanah khususnya tanah yang memiliki kandungan bahan organik yang cukup tinggi sehinga dapat membantu pertumbuhan tanaman. Pembuatan agen hayati dari jenis Trichoderma sp. sebagai agen pengendali hama tanaman telah dilaksanakan di kelompok tani SERUT, Desa Kenokorejo Kecamatan Polokarto Kabupaten Sukoharjo.  Biakan agen hayati Trichoderma sp. diperbanyak melalui media beras kukus, hal ini bertujuan agar petani mampu membuat agen hayati Trichoderma sp. sendiri dengan bahan dasar yang selalu ada di lingkungan petani. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan kepada petani tentang manfaat jamur Trichoderma sp. sebagai agen hayati yang murah dan ramah lingkungan serta cara pengaplikasiannya pada tanaman. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa petani di kelompok tani SERUT menerima dengan baik cara membuat biakan Trichoderma sp dan mampu memperbanyak biakan Trichoderma sp. serta mengaplikasikannnya pada tanaman padi di lahan sawahnya. Kata kunci: Trichoderma sp. agen hayati; bahan organik ABSTRACTTrichoderma sp. is types of fungi that are generally found in soil areas especially with high organik matter content so that it can help plant of growth. The production of the type Trichoderma sp. as a plant pest control agent has been implemented in the SERUT farmer group, Kenokorejo Village Polokarto Districts Sukoharjo Regency. Biolgical agent culture of Trichoderma sp. reproduced by steamed rice media, which aim to the farmers are able to make a biological agents of Trichoderma sp. with the materials that are always available in their sphere. The implementation of community service aims to increase the knowledge of the farming community about the advantage fungus of Trichoderma sp. as biological agent culture that easy and are environmentally benign. The results of this study showing that the SERUT farmer group can accept as well were able to reproduce Trichoderma sp. and apply it to rice plants in their fields. Keywords: Trichoderma sp. biological agents, organik matter.

Abstract

Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) is a colony of bacteri on roots that plays an important role in plant growth. This research was conducted in Jaban RT 03 RW 06, Segaran, Delanggu, Klaten, Central Java, in August-October 2020. The method used a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with three replications, namely variety (V) consist of 2 levels (varieties), namely: V1=Vima-1 and V2 = Vima-2. PGPR (D) consist of 3 stages (dosage), namely D1 = 5 cc/liter dose; D2 = Dosage 10 cc/liter; and D3 = Dosage 15 cc/liter. The data were analyzed using analysis of variance followed by the DMRT test if there were significant and very significant differences between treatments or treatment interactions. The results showed that the interaction of PGPR treatment and varieties had a significant effect on plant height and number of pods per plant and had a very significant effect on the weight of 100 seeds. However, the treatment interactions have no significant effect on seed weight per plant and root volume.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the increase of okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L Moench) plants with composition of planting media and biological liquid fertilizer. This research was conducted in December 2018 to March 2019, in Duren Hamlet, Wonorejo Village, Kalijambe District, Sragen Regency at an altitude between 100 m above sea level. This research is a factorial experiment with a completely randomized design (CRD) pattern consisting of two treatment factors. The first treatment factor is the composition of the planting medium (M) which consists of 4 levels (M1 = one soil without manure and husk charcoal = 1: 0: 0, M2 = one soil + one manure + one husk charcoal = 1: 1 : 1, M3 = one hold + two manure + one husk charcoal = 1: 2: 1, M4 = one soil + three manure + one husk charcoal = 1: 3: 1). The second treatment factor, the concentration of biological liquid fertilizer (P) consisting of 4 levels (P1 = 0 ml / l water, P2 = 2 ml / l water, P3 = 3 ml / l water, P4 = 4 ml / l water). Parameters observed included plant height, number of leaves, number of fruits, weight of fruit per plant, weight of fresh stover. The results showed that treatment of composition planting medium (M) had very significant effect on the parameters of plant height, number of leaves, number of fruits, weight of fruit per plant and weight of fresh stover, while the concentration of biological liquid fertilizer (P) was not significantly different and (MxP) gives interactions not significantly different. The results of the average observations of parameters obtained by the best plant height found in M2 planting media with an average height (121.82) cm, the number of leaves is good in M3 (28.46) and M4 planting media (28.13) , the weight of fresh stover was found in M3 (415.04) g and M4 (404.71) g media, the highest number of fruits per plant was found in M3 (16.94) and M2 (16.80), and heavy planting media fruit per best plant in M3 planting media (452.95) g. The results of the study were obtained from the whole treatment of the best compass media on media composition (M3 = one soil + two manure + one rice husk charcoal = 1: 2: 1) which gave the best results on the parameter number of leaves (28.46), number of fruits per plant (16.94), weight of fruit per plant (452.95) gr, heavy berangkasan (415.04) gr. While the lowest results on the planting medium (M1) on the parameters of plant height (63.30) cm, number of leaves (14.42), number of fruits (3.79), weight of fruit per plant (33.57) gr and weight of fresh stover (29.75) gr.
