Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of charismatic leadership on the psychological safety climate and tacit knowledge sharing. This study also investigates the central role of psychological safety climate as a mediating variable between charismatic leadership and tacit knowledge sharing. This study adopted a simple random sampling method with 63 samples of teachers from a Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Banten. The results of this study indicate that charismatic leadership has a significant direct influence on the climate of psychological security and tacit knowledge sharing. Likewise, the psychological security climate has a significant direct influence on tacit knowledge sharing. This study also finds evidence that charismatic leadership has a significant indirect effect on tacit knowledge sharing through the mediation of a psychological security climate. Thus, the psychological safety climate acts as a partial mediator in this research model.

Data were collected by using simple random sampling to the lecturer population of a private higher education in Indonesia. The number of returned and valid questionnaires was 103 samples. Data were processed by using SEM with SmartPLS 3.0. The results of the study concluded that individual soft skills had positive and significant influence on lecturer innovation capability, both directly and indirectly through a mediating effect of organizational learning. This study proposed a model for improving lecturer innovation capability of lecturers in Indonesia through individual soft skills (as individual factor) and organizational learning (as organizational factor). Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of information technology adoption on knowledge sharing intention by involving the leadership style variable as a mediator. The sample of this research was taken from 102 lecturers of a private university in Indonesia using a simple random sampling technique and using SEM (Structural Equation Model) with SmartPLS version 3.0 software as a statistical tool. The results of this study indicate that information technology adoption has a positive and significant effect on knowledge sharing intention, either directly or through leadership style mediation. Therefore, leadership style can be a variable mediator that strengthens the influence of information technology adoption on knowledge sharing intention.
