Abstract

Pregnancy care is one of step to decrease the maternal mortality rate. The maternal mortality cases in Bantul in 2015 there are 11 cases and “K4” coverage decreased from 92,05% to 90,98%.The family support has an important role in influcing the behavior of mother doing pregnancy care.The family can motivate, give a sense of comfort, both physical and psychological needs for pregnant mother. The purpose of this research is to know the description of family support about pregnancy care to mother at work area of Sedayu II Primary Health Center in 2017. The design of this research is descriptive using survey methods. The sample in this research are 48 respondents. The sampling technique used purposive sampling and data collection using questionnaire. Family support about pregnancy care showed that the instrumental support of family in good category (56,25%), informational support in enough category (54,17%), appraisal support in good category (54,17%), and emotional support in good category (70,83%). The conclusion of research shown that family support about pregnancy care to mother at working area of Sedayu II Primary Health Center in 2017 in good category.

Abstract

Cancer is one of the leading causes of death worldwide. Basic Health Research The Results of Basic Health Research 2013 (Riskesdas) shows the prevalence of cancer of children aged 0-14 years amountdeto 16,291 cases. While the most common type of cancer suffered by children in Indonesia is leukemia and eyeball cancer or retinoblastoma. Chemotherapy is a cancer treatment using drugs or hormones. Children who undergo chemotherapy will experience symptoms as nausea, vomiting, decreased appetite, fever and fatigue (fatigue). The purpose of this study is to determine the description of family understanding about the side effects of chemotherapy in children in Yayasan Kasih Anak Kanker Indonesia-Jogjakarta. This research uses descriptive research type with research design that is quantitative. The sampling technique used is total sampling with 45 respondents. The instrument used is questionnaire. This research was conducted from March 2017 until May 2017. It was found that some respondents had good knowledge about chemotherapy side effect that is 25 people (59,5%). Characteristics of respondents who had good knowledge are respondents whose age in the range of 36-45 years (28.6%). Respondents who had good knowledge about the side effects of chemotherapy were respondents who had a junior secondary education of 12 respondents (28.6%), with IRT work of 13 (30.9%), earning less than Rp.1.500.000 and respondents Never get information has good knowledge. The researchers concluded that some respondents had good knowledge about the side effects of chemotherapy.

Abstract

One of the most feared man when he began to ripen is becoming senile and difficulty remembering recent memory. Someone who has dementia, there will be a decrease in intellectual function that causes the deterioration cognition and functional, resulting in impaired function of thesocial, work and daily activities, therefore their social activities will also be affected. Activities to increase the intelligence of the elderly can be done in Posyandu and at home. Posyandu kader are trained to conduct simple screening and intervention for at Posyandu and can be continued at home. During these elderly who come to Posyandu only get a health screening and supplementary feeding alone. This study aims to look at the role of Posyandu kader in improving intelligence elderly. The study is a quasi experiment, pre- post with control design. Samples taken as many as 32 elderly people from each of posyandu Gejawan Kulon as the intervention group and posyandu Gejawan Wetan as the control group. The results showed that the characteristics of the most respondents are aged 60-69 as much as 38,7% in intervention group and 71,9% in control group, female 100% in intervention group and 78,1% in control group, as housewives 50% in intervention group and 59,4% in the control group. And has last education in elementary school 50% in intervention group and 43,7% in control group, level of intelligence on the second assessment 62,5% normal-light in intervention group and balanced between normal-light and moderate in control group. And the number of eldery who have intelegensia reduction decreased by 0,3 from the current first assessment based on the T-Test as result 1,4 from 1,7. The Conclusion is the influence in intelligence enhancement training kader to increased intelligence eldery evidenced by the decline in the number of eldery who experience a decrease in intelligence in the control group.

Abstract

Undernourished among hospitalized patients known have related to the increasing of patient length of stay, the changes in clinical condition , increasing of over utilization of the hospital , and an increasing the risk of a complication. In the world there are around 60 million children with undernourished and 13 million children with worse undernourished7. The prevalence of undernourished in infants and children reached 31.8 %. The data from the various hospital in Indonesia, prevalence of undernourished is still high. Undernourished is the main health problems in the developing countries and is a contribute factors to more than 50 % of 10 up to 11 million kids that die every year, where the causes of death, has actually can be prevented6. Have been known that communication & education method can raise the nutrition status for chlidren. Research aims to determine the influence of a character picture animation with nutrition message on food intake among hospitalized children in Yogyakarta.This study involved children who hospitalized This research using quasi experiments with pretest and post test with control groups design. Involved 60 respondents who divided into 30 treatment respondents and 30 respondents as a control group.Statistical analysisusing dependent t-test with CI 95%. There are significant different food intake before and after using the character picture animation with p 0,0001 (CI:95 %). This research revealed that using a character picture animation with a message of nutrition can increased food intake on hospitalized children.

Abstract

Surgery and anesthesia are invasive and planned treatment procedures. The operation to be performed requires mental preparation on the patient. One form of hospital service quality that patients often complain about is waiting time. Waiting time is synonymous with boredom, anxiety, stress for patients. Purpose : To know the relationship between waiting time pre anesthesia with anxiety levels in general anesthesia patients at the Central Surgical Installation RS PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Method : This research is quantitative observational analytic using cross sectional research design. This research was carried out at the Central Surgical Installation RS PKU Muhammdiyah Yogyakarta on January 13-25, 2020. The population of this study was all patients undergoing elective surgery under general anesthesia with 62 patients. Data analysis using Chi Square test.Result : Research shows that the number of respondents with a waiting time pre anesthesia >30 minutes suffered severe anxiety as much as 11 respondents (57.9%). Based on Chi Square test, result of P value 0.004 (< 0.05). Conclusion : There is a relationship between waiting time pre anesthesia with anxiety levels in general anesthesia patients.
