Abstract

Dampak negatif penurunan tanah di Kota Semarang bagian utara telah dirasakan oleh masyarakat selama bertahun-tahun. Penurunan tanah yang dibarengi dengan abrasi pantai, intrusi air laut dan banjir pasang air laut ke permukiman penduduk semakin memperparah kerusakan fisik dan lingkungan. Kondisi tanah penyusun yang didominasi oleh tanah endapan alluvium dengan konsistensi sangat lunak sampai medium dan mudah mampat mendorong proses konsolidasi diprediksi akan terus berlangsung untuk waktu yang sangat lama. Oleh sebab itu, perlu dilakukan kajian geoteknik berkelanjutan untuk mengevaluasi penurunan konsolidasi di Semarang Utara. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memprediksi besar dan laju penurunan tanah akibat konsolidasi. Adapun parameter konsolidasi untuk setiap kedalaman lapisan tanah yang ditinjau ditentukan dari hasil korelasi antara N-SPT dengan mv. Hasil perhitungan dengan metode 1 D Terzaghi menunjukkan bahwa besar penurunan tanah cukup bervariatif untuk jangka waktu sangat lama, tergantung pada ketebalan lapisan konsolidasi dan beban permukaan. Simulasi numeris menggunakan SIGMA/W diberikan sebagai perbandingan dalam perhitungan ini.

Abstract

The Semarang Outer Ring Road (SORR) project which is located on soft soil has the potential to experience land subsidence due to consolidation. The consolidation settlement is predicted to continue along with the length of time the consolidation is completed. It is necessary to study subsurface engineering geology to obtain an overview of the structure of the soil layers and the thickness of the soft soil layer that has the potential to undergo consolidation. Based on the data of 4 borehole points and the results of laboratory tests, evaluation and correlation were carried out to obtain the stratigraphy of the soil layer. The stratigraphic results showed that the total depth of the soil investigation was 50 m, with the surface soil layers generally consisting of embankment soil, sandy clay, sandy silt, and clayey silt. The distribution of clay and silt with very soft to medium consistency dominates the soil layer structure with a thickness varying between 15.50-28.00 m. This condition has the potential to cause an increase in the magnitude and rate of consolidation due to the surface loading of the embankment soil.

Abstract

Sektor konstruksi mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan dalam mendorong pertumbuhan perekonomian nasional. Pengadaan jasa konstruksi dengan dana dari APBN, APBD maupun sumber dana lainnya yang berasal loan dari pihak ketiga dengan nilai yang relatif besar, menjadi daya tarik tersendiri bagi penyedia jasa konstruksi untuk ikut ambil bagian sesuai dengan kualifikasi dan kemampuan yang dimiliki. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey kuisioner dengan cara menjaring pendapat atau presepsi, pengalaman dan sikap responden mengenai faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kontraktor dalam melakukan penawaran pada lelang sistem e-procurement. Hasil penelitian yaitu  lelang sistem e-procurement, kontraktor harus mempelajari dokumen kontrak untuk menghindari ketidakpastian perhitungan volume pekerjaan didalam HPS. Kemampuan finansial owner merupakan salah satu faktor yang sangat berpengaruh bagi kontraktor dalam melakukan penawaran pada lelang sistem e-procurement

Abstract

The materials that are often used in the world of construction both in bridges, water structures, and buildings is concrete. The characteristic of concrete is that it is strong withstand compressive forces, but weak in resisting tensile forces. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the characteristics of the concrete. Improving the characteristics of the concrete can be done by applying a fiber mixture to the concrete. There are two types of fibers used as a concrete mixture, namely synthetic fibers and natural fibers. The research conducted was concrete using chicken feather waste fiber which was categorized as natural fiber with a fiber length of 3 cm, the grade of the concrete used was 20 MPa and the percentage of additional chicken feather waste was 0%, 1%, and 2% of the volume of concrete. The test is the compressive strength and flexural strength of the concrete using a specimen cylinder 15x30 cm and beam 15x15x60 cm. Each percentage of chicken feather waste that is used as a concrete mixture is 5 samples. From the test results, it was found that the concrete with the addition of 0% chicken feathers obtained an average compressive strength value of 200.78 kg/cm2, concrete with the addition of 1% chicken feather fiber, the compressive strength value increased to 215.09 kg/cm2 and concrete with the addition of chicken feather fiber 2 % has a compressive strength value of 197.54 kg/cm2. Meanwhile, the flexural strength values obtained were 24.00 kg/cm2, 23.03 kg/cm2, 21.08 kg/cm2 for the percentage of 0%, 1% and 2% fibers, respectively. This shows that the concrete with the addition of bristle fibers the chicken has decreased the compressive strength value when it has reached its optimum level. While the addition of the percentage of chicken feathers to the flexural strength value does not have much effect on the flexural strength of the concrete which tends to decrease. This is influenced by the characteristics of the chicken feathers which are difficult to bond with the concrete as well as being easy to absorb water, so that the concrete takes a longer time to dry after the maintenance of the concrete.

Abstract

In building a village infrastructure, it is necessary to calculate the costs contained in the Budget Plan (RAB) according to the standards set by the government. The RAB provides an overview of the costs required to construct a structure or building. In addition, from the calculation of the RAB, it can also be seen that the building material requirements, manpower, and the schedule needed to complete the project. The purpose of this technical guidance is to increase the role and understanding of village officers and youth organizations in making RAB. Technical guidance is carried out by providing explanations and technical assistance directly to partners in making the RAB for the physical infrastructure project for the concrete pavement access to the mosque. The results of the technical guidance showed that there was an increase in the understanding of partners in making RAB by 70%. In addition, 50% of partners believe that they can independently make RAB for a similar project. Armed with this understanding, it is hoped that in the future partners can play a greater role in the village's physical development process starting at the planning, construction, and supervision stages of the project.

Abstract

Kayu mangga merupakan kayu yang mudah didapatkan, hampir masyarakat menanam pohon mangga di pekarangan rumah. Kayu mangga memiliki tingkat kekerasan yang medium untuk pohon mangga yang sudah tua dapat dipotong , selanjutnya digunkan sebagai material pada konstruksi rumah. Untuk mengecek nilai kuat tekan kuat tarik kayu mangga maka perlu dilakukan pengujian di Laboratorium. Serta mengklasifikasikan kayu mangga ke kelas kayu 1-4. Dan aplikasi konstruksi yang tepat untuk kayu mangga. Menginggat kayu mangga memiliki proses pertumbuhan yang lebih cepat dibandingkan pohon lainnya. Proses pengujian karakteristik mekanik kayu mangga di laboratorium Bahan Bangunan dan Struktur Universitas Semarang. Pengujian kayu mangga meliputi kadar lengas kayu, uji tarik kayu, uji tekan kayu. Untuk mendapatkan nilai kuat tekan dan kuat lentur kayu mangga. Serta pengaplikasikan pada konstruksi rumah. Kayu mangga memilik kadar air rata rata sebesar 45% dengan berat jenis 0.014 gr/mm3 .Untuk Modulus elastisitas  Kayu mangga sebesar 50848,59 kg/cm2 untuk modulus of repture sebesar 482,67 kg/cm2 .Dapat disimpulkan kayu mangga masuk dalam klasifikasi kayu kelas III.

Abstract

Pondasi merupakan elemen yang sangat penting dalam suatu bangunan. Namun, pondasi juga rentan mengalami penurunan. Penurunan pondasi dapat berdampak pada struktur utama bangunan. Pada dasarnya, penurunan pondasi terjadi ketika pondasi tersebut menanggung beban struktur di atasnya. Penurunan pondasi harus dipertimbangkan saat tahap perencanaan proyek konstruksi agar tidak melebihi batas izin yang telah ditetapkan. Tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi kapasitas daya dukung pondasi dan pergerakan tanah yang terjadi. Jenis pondasi yang digunakan dalam Proyek Pembangunan Instalasi Pengolahan Air Kawasan Industri Terpadu Batang adalah pondasi pancang. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan data sekunder, termasuk gambar dan laporan investigasi tanah. Perhitungan beban pada struktur dilakukan dengan menggunakan program SAP2000, menghasilkan gaya aksial sebesar 5006,996 kN, gaya geser sebesar 4,979 kN, momen dalam arah X sebesar 72,7124 kN/m, dan momen dalam arah Y sebesar 322,0355 kN/m. Kapasitas daya dukung ultimit pondasi tiang tunggal adalah 4791,44 kN, sementara kapasitas daya dukung ultimit pondasi tiang kelompok adalah 5971,998 kN. Penurunan pondasi tiang tunggal dan tiang kelompok adalah 13,573 mm dan 30,350 mm, secara berturut-turut. Penurunan pondasi yang terjadi dianggap aman karena nilainya lebih rendah dari batas izin yang diizinkan

Abstract

Gogodalem Village is one of the regions of Bringin District, Semarang Regency, which has natural conditions in the form of cliffs and ravines because it is located on a plateau. Some of the cliffs are still rock and soil so they are prone to landslides when rainfall is high. This became the basis for carrying out the University of Semarang Community Service Program (KKN) in the form of building stone sheet piles on the cliffs of Plataran-Kauman Roads in East Gogodalem Hamlet. The choice of location was based on the high level of landslide risk and the road is the main access to Plataran and Kauman Hamlets. The activity implementation method starts from the coordination and socialization stage, then the volume calculation and budget plan, and the last stage is the implementation of construction work. A fee of Rp. 5,728,500.00 is needed to complete the construction work. This activity has been carried out properly and smoothly, so it is hoped that it can reduce the occurrence of land shifts due to high rainfall which can cause landslides on cliffs that close roads and disturb residents who will pass through these roads.

Abstract

Mosques are one the public facilities that have a role as houses of worship for muslims. In addition, the mosque also functions as a center for community activities such as a place for celebrating big days, discussions, studies, seminars, lectures, and training as a center for religious learning for the community. To increase the role and function of the mosque as well as an effort to increase the capacity or capacity of worshippers, the mosque prosperity council (DKM) plans to renovate the construction of mosque. The existing condition of the mosque currently has supporting facilities, but it is considered inadequate with a limited capacity of worshippers. In addition, physically the existing mosque building is quite simple, so carrying out renovations requires careful planning. The purpose of this community service (PkM) of Faculty of Engineering of Universitas Semarang is to assist DKM in making a renovation plan design for the construction of the As-Syuhada Mosque. The output of this mentoring activity is in the form of submitting design drawings of the 2 floors mosque building including detailed structural drawings, as well as 3D drawings and calculation of the cost budget plan (RAB). The drawings and RAB of the renovation work for the construction of the As-Shahada Mosque that had been approved were then used as guidelines for carrying out work in the field.

Abstract

Bendungan adalah bangunan yang terdiri dari urugan tanah atau batuan. Bangunan ini berfungsi untuk menahan laju air dari waduk atau danau, sebagai pembangkit listrik serta tempat rekreasi masyarakat. Bendungan Jragung terletak di desa Candirejo, Kecamatan Pringapus, Kabupaten Semarang. Dalam pembangunan bendungan ini diperlukan suatu bangunan pengelak yang berfungsi untuk mengelakan air sungai pada saat mengerjakan konstruksi bendungan utama. Pada pelaksanaan terowongan pengelak membutuhkan analisis klasifikasi batuan serta litologi batuan di lapangan dengan menggunakan metode Rock Mass Rating (RMR) dari Bieniawski 1989 untuk mengetahui kondisi litologi batuan beserta klasifikasinya. Selain itu digunakan metode Rock Mass Quality (Q)-System sebagai pembanding. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang membandingkan dua metode menghasilkan batuan yang memiliki klasifikasi massa batuan fair rock yang termasuk dalam kategori III dengan nilai RMR antara 41- 60 dengan stand up time ± 24 jam sampai dengan ± 28 jam dan good rock yang termasuk dalam kategori II dengan nilai RMR 60-80 dengan rekomendasi pemasangan steel ribs dengan jarak 1,5 m pada metode RMR. Sedangkan pada metode Q-System menghasilkan klasifikasi massa batuan fair rock dengan panjang rockbolt pada penyangga terowongan 3 m serta ketebalan shotcrete 40-100 m tanpa tulangan dengan jarak rockbolt yaitu 2 m-2,3 m.
