Abstract

Sterilisasi merupkan salah satu faktor penting keberhasilan kultur in vitro.

The implementation of PKM activities included the dissemination of material and the practice of making abon papaya. Based on the results of the activity, it was obtained information that the participants in the activity didn’t know much about the nutrients contained in papaya fruit, even the participants had never known that papaya fruit could be processed into shredded fruit. The community service activities on the topic of making shredded papaya fruit can increase awareness, knowledge, skills, and also the motivation of the business of Pamagersari Hamlet Community in Tanjungsari Village, Sumedang.

Abstract

The introduction of the Asteraceae family is actually known for its many types. There is a family of Asteraceae which has spread widely to reach 125 to 300 genera and has around 20,000 to 25,000 species that have spread all over the world. This research was conducted in May-June 2023. The purpose of conducting this research was to determine the inventory and identification of plant species in the Asteraceae family in the Province of West Java. As well as to determine the morphology, characteristics, and habitus of the Asteraceae family in the Province of West Java. The method used in this study was a direct survey, and a review of literature studies to obtain other data sources. Based on the results of the research conducted, there are seven plant species in the Asteraceae family in the Province of West Java. The seven species are Asterai, Tithonia diversifolia, Sphagneticola trilobata, Chrysanthemum indicum, Chrysanthemum grandiflorum, Chrysanthemum himbeerrot, Chrysanthemum. These existing species describe distinct morphologies. Each type of plant has different benefits. The conclusion obtained from this study is that the Asteraceae family has many existing species, so it is expected to be able to find various species that are also able to conduct an inventory and identify plant species of the Asteraceae family in the West Java Province area in an objective and relevant manner.

Abstract

The Annonaceae family is generally known as the Soursop family, which has a distribution of around 128 genera and consists of approximately 2,300 species. Annonaceae have lifeforms from bushes to trees. The family produces fruit and various other benefits. Anonnaceae family is commonly found on the Australian continent, the Asian continent, the Americas, and the African continent and tropical climates but is rarely in areas with sub-tropical climates. This descriptive study has conducted at the Gading Junti Asri Housing Complex, Sangkanhurip Village, Bandung Regency. The tool used is a smartphone camera. The materials used are identified Annonaceae plant species around the residential area of Gading Junti Asri. The data used to describe is descriptive qualitative data generated by reading, studying, and reviewing literature related to morphology, taxonomy, and the benefits of plants from the Anonnaceae family found based on observations at Gading Junti Asri Housing, Sangkanhurip Village, Bandung Regency. there are five Soursop trees (Annona muricata L.) and one Srikaya tree (Annona squamosa L.). These plants have a similar morphology and live well in tropical climates. These plants have a variety of uses besides their fruit-eaten parts of trees are also beneficial in the medical field, especially pharmacology.

Abstract

The Cyperaceae family is a puzzle or "papayungan" family. The Cyperaceae family are weeds because they can grow in different environmental conditions. Many species of this family grow in terrestrial and near-water ecosystems. Plant inventory is an activity that aims to classify a plant species found in an area. This activity is carried out to provide information which is used as a reference for the species of this family that exist in the area, with the aim of knowing the distribution of the species of this family and identifying them. This observation uses the exploration method around the UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung Integrated Laboratory. The Cyperaceae family around the UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung Integrated Laboratory obtained 3 species, namely the species Cyperus rotundus L, Cyperus kyllingia Endl, and Fimbristylis globulosa.

Abstract

Wounds are damage to a network unit or component which results in a specific tissue substance being damaged or lost. Wound healing is the body's response when an injury occurs to various injuries with a complex regeneration process that can result in continuous restoration of anatomy and function. Binahong (Anredera scandens (L.) Moq.) is a typical Indonesian plant which is used to treat various kinds of diseases, one of which is to treat various kinds of wounds. This study used the literature review method, searched journals with the Google Schoolar database with inclusion and exclusion criteria for published articles between 2006-2023 and found 14 articles, but after filtering, 10 articles were finally discussed. Journals are selected using PRISMA. This research shows that several studies discussing the effect of binahong leaves on wound healing have proven to be effective for use and have the same effectiveness as other wound healing.

Abstract

Laboratory is a place to do learning, research, and observation. Practicum is one of the many types of learning methods that exist in schools. The laboratory has the meaning of a room in which practical or research activities are carried out which are equipped with various kinds of equipment such as complete laboratory equipment and infrastructure. Microbiology is one of the materials from Biology lessons, whose scope can be in the form of microbes, fungi or molds, algae, fermentation, viruses, diseases, protozoa, bacteria, microbiology to biotechnology, and the invention of microbiology laboratory techniques. This university also has an Integrated Laboratory as a learning and practice facility in which there are many laboratory rooms according to their respective departments such as biology, physics, chemistry, electrical engineering, informatics, and mathematics laboratories. Then the special tools that are always used in research are Laminar Air Flow, autoclaves, incubators, ovens, refrigerators, and colony counters to count bacterial colonies.
