Abstract

Recreational activities can be defined as refreshing, re-energising physically and mentally through activities that are different from the routine. Recreational activities that involve sports are called recreational sports, while recreational sports carried out at tourist sites are called sports tourism. This service activity aims to monitor recreational rafting sports activities in research students, and assist students in collecting data on poduwoma rafting tourism. The activity stages consist of: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Based on the evaluation at the end of the activity, participants only went through 1 rapids from the usual route of 5 rapids.

Abstract

The primary school age period is called midle childhood, which is the period of children after toddlers who have about 6-12 years. In this period, tremendous cognitive, emotional and social development occurs, but on the one hand the rate and speed of growth is relatively fixed. Therefore, periodic growth monitoring is required during childhood. The purpose of this activity is to monitor the growth of primary school children in Bulotadaa Barat, and provide secondary data on child growth. Based on the evaluation of the activity, it can be concluded that it has been carried out according to the stages of the activity, namely the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the results stage. The objectives of this activity were achieved, including the availability of child growth data as secondary data in schools.

Abstract

Elementary school-age children range in age from 6-12. This age is the second most rapid growth period after toddlerhood. One reference to child growth is physical changes which are also often used as indicators for the nutritional status of individuals and populations. This activity aims to monitor the growth of elementary school children, and help teachers provide secondary data for schools. The target subjects were 35 children. Based on the results, it was found that there were no children with obese nutritional status, and there were 88.57% wasting, and 2.85% fat.
