Abstract

Announcement is a statement in oral or written form that contains information for many to know. In giving announcements of cadets in charge there are still many mistakes, therefore an application program that can make it easier for cadets in charge to provide daily service provision information at the STPI is needed. The design of this application program aims to provide suggestions in the form of announcement for cadets through the text to speech public address system application by using the Sublime Text 3 and the Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) programming language which are expected to help cadets in charge and can reduce errors that often occur.This application program can be implemented at the cadets office to improve the service of providing information on retention without reducing the learning available for cadets of the STPI Curug

Abstract

Analisis ini adalah alat untuk menggambar kurva distribusi intensitas cahaya cahaya dengan dinamo. Dalam praktiknya alat ini diharapkan dapat menambah pengetahuan dan pemahaman peserta pelatihan tentang kurva distribusi, mempelajari efek dari penggunaan kekuatan arus armature dan cahaya (flux light) dari sumber cahaya. Konsep yang dianalisis adalah menggambar kurva distribusi intensitas cahaya menggunakan data yang diperoleh dari pengukuran. Alat desain yang terbuat dari sensor cahaya yang dapat digerakkan pada trek yang telah dibuat sehingga diperoleh jarak yang sama ke sumber sudut iluminasi yang bervariasi. Untuk keperluan pengukuran, telah dibuat kotak yang akan berfungsi sebagai rongga. Dengan alat ini diharapkan untuk berlatih peserta pelatihan dapat mengetahui distribusi lampu penerangan dengan menggunakan armature tertentu. Selain itu, dapat mengenali pentingnya kurva distribusi sebagai salah satu parameter penting dalam memilih jangkar sebagai perangkat pencahayaan buatan dan berfungsi sebagai dasar pembelajaran dalam sistem pencahayaan

Abstract

Operasional penerbangan seaplane yang direncanakan di teluk pang – pang Banyuwangi memiliki dampak terhadap lingkungan yang perlu diperhatikan dan diteliti. Dampak lingkungan yang kemungkinan dapat terjadi dari operasional seaplane tersebut adalah terkait kebisingan (Noise), dampak terhadap kehidupan liar serta dampak karena tumpahan oli (oil spillage) serta kemungkinan dampat terhadap aktivitas nelayan yang bekerja di teluk pang-pang. Metode penelitian Kualitatif menjadi pilihan dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan studi literatur serta membandingkan dengan data yang diambil oleh peneliti baik dengan wawancara maupun dengan mekanisme lainnya. Pesawat yang akan digunakan untuk penerbangan seaplane di teluk pang – pang adalah Cessna 172 SP “Skyhawk”. Pada artikel ini akan menyajikan data-data aktifitas nelayan, data terkait kebisingan, dan kehidupan liar di teluk pang – pang yang merupakan Kawasan Ekosistem Esensial (KEE) untuk mengetahui bentuk operasi seaplane yang dapat dilaksanakan di kawasan tersebut.

Abstract

Situational awareness is an important aspect that a pilot must have as an operator in the aviation sector. This aspect plays an important role in maintaining safety in flight operations. Situational awareness is also an important material in the education and training of prospective pilots. The situational awareness study among pilots is an important study to do. The purpose of writing this article is to conduct a literature review of pilot situational awareness in the field of aviation. The study was conducted by searching the literature for research publications within the last 25 years. The review is carried out by compiling research summaries sequentially according to the year of publication. Research topic grouping is done to get the amount of research according to the topic and topic area. The analysis is carried out to get an overview of future research trends. The results of the study show that the number of research tends to increase after 2015. While the research topics that are mostly studied are the implementation and analysis of pilot situational awareness.

Abstract

This study discusses in detail the impact of job design on the job satisfaction of the treasurer of THRDA. Furthermore, the intervening variables that mediate the relationship between job design and job satisfaction will also be identified. These variables are remuneration, quality of work-life, promotion, teamwork, participative leadership, and organizational motivation. This research uses the quantitative method. The path analysis was operated using the Smart PLS application to analyze the data. The research instrument used is a questionnaire distributed to all treasurers of THRDA in Indonesia. Thirty-four treasurers out of 64 treasurers have filled out the questionnaire. The results showed that the job design of the treasurer did not affect the job satisfaction of the treasurer. Meanwhile, job design through the intervening variable has a significant indirect effect on the job satisfaction of the treasurer. Thus, the intervening variable has succeeded in fully mediating the relationship between job design and job satisfaction of the treasurer. Keywords: job design, job satisfaction, treasurer

Abstract

Pilot cadets take part in a series of education and training at an academy. Differences in the background of prospective cadets can affect the educational process and achievements achieved by the cadets. This study aims to analyze differences in the area of origin of the education and training outcomes of prospective pilot cadets. The study was conducted on 22 cadets of the Indonesian Aviation Academy Banyuwangi which were divided into 3 groups of regions of origin which generally had different levels of educational progress. The scores of the initial test results including the academic potential test, physical test and initial flight aptitude test were compared. Furthermore, comparisons were made for the initial flight aptitude test, flight aptitude test 1 and flight aptitude test 2. The results showed that education and training at the academy could improve the performance of the cadets but still resulted in achievement gaps due to their regional background. The results of the study can be used as a reference for the development of pilot education models. Further research can be done for deeper diversity or educational curriculum that is not yet optimal

Abstract

In the era of technological disruption and digital revolution, vocational higher education must align its graduates' competency and qualification needs and follow developments in science and technology in the workplace. Education is becoming increasingly complex, so it is necessary to implement new learning methods, one of which is e-learning-based education. This research aims to design and develop Fire Fighting Tactic and Technique Learning Media (FITERN) as a web-based learning media application product integrated with a robotic simulator. This research uses Research and Development (R&D) techniques with the ADDIE approach to ensure that information system development meets quality standards. The research results show that the feasibility assessment by media experts received an average score of 18.62 and a percentage of 93.12%, The feasibility assessment by material experts received an average score of 18.17 and a percentage of 90.83%, and Students' evaluation responses to FITERN learning media as seen from the aspects of programming (technical), media appearance (media presentation), material, and usefulness receive an average score of 18.62 and a percentage of 90.83%. So, the Development of The FITERN Application as A Web-Based Learning Media is proper for interactive multimedia learning. This research resulted in developing new and interactive learning media for firefighting tactics and techniques courses that utilize information technology and are integrated with firefighting robot systems so that students' learning outcomes can be further improved.

Abstract

As educational institutions, libraries must innovate to provide higher-quality services. Libraries are no longer managed in the traditional way and are beginning to use information technology known as library automation. RFID technology devices are used to carry out the automation circulation service. This study was done to measure user satisfaction with the usage of RFID technology in library services as well as the efficiency of library services in assisting existing educational services. This kind of quantitative research employs observational methods, a descriptive study design, and the distribution of research questionnaires to participants. The usage effectiveness value for the research indicated that the combination of the cadet identification card and the library membership card into a single card was deemed to be effective and efficient at 96%, which was a considerable increase. The adoption of RFID technology has increased circulation service standards, is more flexible than traditional modes, and promotes digital-based libraries, with a level of customer satisfaction with the use of RFID technology devices in circulation services of 97.2%. The high value of effectiveness and user happiness with the application of RFID technology in library services are indicators of success.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat gambaran pelaksanaan ujian online menggunakan sistem pengawasan Autoproctor pada taruna Politeknik Pelayaran Sumatera Barat. Pada tahap awal, peneliti akan melihat pengenalan ujian online, efektivitas ujian online, kesukaan ujian online, kesiapan taruna untuk melaksanakan ujian online, serta pengenalan aplikasi Autoproctor . Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis kebutuhan dengan menggunakan skala likert. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat seberapa familiar, siap, efektif, dan favorit taruna untuk ujian online, yang telah dilaksanakan di Politeknik Berlayar serta pengenalan aplikasi Autoproctor kepada taruna. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan dalam mengembangkan aplikasi Autoproctor dalam mengawasi ujian online yang dilakukan. Hasil penelitian untuk variabel pengenalan ujian online menemukan bahwa 70,9% responden telah diperkenalkan dengan ujian online. Untuk variabel kesukaan terhadap pelaksanaan ujian online , 62,2% responden menyatakan menyukai pelaksanaan ujian online. Untuk variabel telah mengikuti ujian online ditemukan bahwa 66,9% responden telah mengikuti ujian secara online. Untuk efektivitas ujian online , 59,9% responden menyatakan bahwa ujian online efektif. Untuk pengenalan aplikasi Autoproctor, 72,7% responden belum pernah mengenal aplikasi Autoproctor.

Abstract

This paper focuses on Palembang Aviation Polytechnic cadets as students are directed to be able to form better personalities through mental, character, and physical development. Palembang Aviation Polytechnic forms the character of cadets who are disciplined, firm, and punctual. Cadets are required to take part in 8 hours of active learning by the Palembang Aviation Polytechnic's Cadet Code of Conduct (PT3). For time efficiency and ease of monitoring cadets' compliance with compulsory education, a data-based RFID tool was designed using an Arduino as an open and close system controller when a cadet taps an RFID card. Cadets are required to tap the RFID card that each individual has to ensure that cadets arrive and leave on time during learning hours. The system will not transmit data if cadets arrive before the specified time. After that, the data will be distributed to a spreadsheet as material for assessing each cadet.
