Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengkaji struktur tanah rizosfer tanaman kacang hijau (Vigna radiata L) dengan perlakuan pupuk kandang dan kascing. Data pendukung diperoleh dari percobaan yang dilaksanakan di Desa Parangtritis, Kecamatan Kretek, Kabupaten Bantul, D.I. Yogyakarta, ketinggian ± 10 m dpl dan jenis tanah berpasir. Percobaan disusun dalam Split plot dua factor, yaitu frekuensi penyiraman sebagai main plot yang terdiri dari satu kali satu hari dan tiga hari satu kali. Faktor kedua pemberian pupuk organik sebagai sub plot, yaitu tanpa pemberian pupuk, pupuk kandang sapi, pupuk kandang kambing, pupuk kascing. Variable yang diamati adalah fase vegetatif (rasio tajuk-akar segar, rasio tajuk-akar kering, lengas tanah, berat volume tanah, berat kering tanaman). Data dianalisis menggunakan sidik ragam jenjang nyata 5%, perbedaan antar-perlakuan diuji dengan uji jarak berganda Duncan Multiple Range Test jenjang 5%. Hasil: perlakuan pupuk kandang sapi, pupuk kandang kambing dan kascing meningkatkan daya ikat air dan memperbaiki struktur, sehingga meningkatkan bobot kering tanaman. Perlakuan frekuensi penyiraman satu kali sehari meningkatkan daya ikat air yang tercermin pada lengas tanah, sehingga meningkatkan bobot kering tanaman. Perlakuan pupuk sapi, kandang kambing dan kascing memberikan Sum Growth Rate lebih tinggi daripada tanpa pupuk. Penyiraman sehari sekali sehari memberikan Sum Growth Rate lebih tinggi daripada penyiraman 3 hari sekali.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji macam pupuk kandang terhadap serpan fosfat tanaman kacang hijau. Data pendukung diperoleh dari percobaan yang dilakukan di Parangtritis, kecamatan Kretek, kabupaten Bantul, D. I. Yogyakarta dengan ketinggian ± 10 meter di atas permukaan laut dan jenis tanah berpasir, Penelitian telah dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari – Maret 2020. Faktor pertama frekuensi penyiraman sebagai main plot dan faktor kedua macam pupuk kandang sebagai sub plot. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Perlakuan pupuk kandang ayam dengan frekuensi penyiraman sehari sekali memberikan kandungan fosfat jaringan tanaman kacng hijau tertinggi sebesar 0,476 %. Perlakuan pupuk kandang ayam memberikan Sum Growth Rate tanaman kacang hijau tertinggi. Frekuensi penyiraman sehari sekali memberikan Sum Growth Rate tanaman kacang hijau tertinggi dibandingkan frekuensi penyiraman 3 hari sekali.

Abstract

This research aims to know about the effect of storage packaging on the viability and vigor of white jack bean. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University, Jalan Batikan 02, Yogyakarta.Average temperature of storage space 26-300C and humidity 78%.It was conducted from June to September 2017. The experiment was conducted using one factorial experiment arranged in Completely Randomized Design (RAL). Treatment consists of one factor, namely storage packaging.The acidity used is paper packaging, plastic packaging, and canned packaging.While the controls use seeds of jack bean that are still in pods. Each treatment was repeated five times with sampling of 200 seeds of white sword on each storage container. Observations made include increased moisture content, viability, and seed vigor after storage. Abstract

This research aims to know the effect of grew media composition and vermicompost dosage application on the growth and yield of tomato. The reseach was conducted in Agriculture Faculty greenhouse of Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University, located in Tuntungan UH III Umbulharjo sub-district, Yogyakarta. According to the government of Yogyakarta, the region has an average of altitude is 114 meters above sea level and included of lowland with slope ± 1 degrees, average of rainfall 2.012 mm/year, average of temperature is 27,2 oC, average of humidity is 24,7% Rh, and than average of light intensity is 1.833 kal/cm2/day. This reaserch was conducted in Mei—Juli 2017, with use factorial 3 x 3 and one control, a complete arranged randomized design. The first factor was grew media composition consisted of three composition, namely are 1 sand : 1 soil ; 1 sand : 2 soil and 1 sand : 3 soil. The second factor was dosage of vermicompost consisted three levels are 50 g, 100 g and 150 g per polybag. Each treatment was repeated three replication with taking three plant of sample plant for each polybag. Variables observerd were plant height, age of flowers, flowers number, age of fruits, fruits number, fruits diameter, fruits weight, leaf number, leaf area, fresh weight of plant, fresh weight of root, dry weight of plant and age of harvest. The analysis showed that there was interaction effect between the two factor on variables are leaf number, fresh weight of root and dry weight of plant. Variabel of leaf number showed interaction is with grew composition 1 sand : 1 soil and vermicompost dosage is 100 gives the highets result and than variables fresh weight of root and dry weight of plant showed interaction are with grew composition 1 sand : 1 soil and vermocompost dosage is 50 g gives the highets result

Abstract

The study aims to know the dose of manure and nitrogen source on growth of aloe vera seed in sandy soil. The experiment was conducted in Cangkring vilage, Poncosari, Serandakan, Bantul, D.I Yogyakarta, in 25 meter above sea level and the temperature is 30 ºC - 35 ºC. The research was done in January – May 2017. This reseach arranged in randomized Complete Block Design with 3 repetitions. The first factor  is manure dose consisted of 2 levels namely : (K1) 15 ton.ha-1, (K2) 30 ton.ha-1. The second factor  is nitrogen source consisted of 4 levels : (N1) urea, (N2) ZA, (N3) NPK dan (N4) KNO3 450 each 450 kg.ha-1. The analysis of data used Analysis of Variance at level of 5%, is continued with Duncan’s Multiple Range Test 5%. The result showed that there was no interaction between dose of cow manure and nitrogen source to all variable except the height of plants. The dose of cow manure did not influence the growth of the aloe vera seedling, like as nitrogen sources

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of types of planting media and kinds of fertigations on the results of cayenne pepper cultivated in semi-hydroponics. This research was carried out in the Greenhouse of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa.  It has altitude of 112 m above sea level and temperature between 260 – 280C. This research method was arranged in a Complete Randomized Block Design in Split Splot consisting of two treatment factors. The fisrt factor was the fertigation method as main factor consisted of 2 levels: spraying watering system and fertigation of the drip irrigation system. The second factor was the planting media as sub factor consisted 3 levels: rice husk charcoal + regosol soil (v/v= 1:1) ,rice husk charcoal + zeolite (v/v= 1:1), and rice husk charcoal.+ regosol + zeolite (v/v= 1:1:1). Each treatment unit used 3 sample plant. The results of the observations were analyzed using variance, followed by Duncan 's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at the level of a = 5%. AThe results of the experiment indicated that there was an interaction beetwen planting media and kinds of fertigations for the variables observed in the number of flowers and fresh weight per plant. Where are, the treatment of planting media and the fertigation system had an effect on the yield of cayenne pepper, namely the fresh weight of fruit per plant. However, no interaction occurred beetwen planting media and kinds of fertigations of the variable observed in the plant height, number of leaves, number of fruits, fresh weight of the plants, dry weight of plants and fruit diameter. The best results of combination’s treatment rice husk charcoal+ regosol soil + zeolite(v/v= 1:1:1) with fertigation of the drip irrigation system indicated on fresh weight per plant

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the dosage of bokasi fertilizer and the type of bokasi fertilizer that appropriate to increase the yield of tomato plants. The experiment was carried out at Pusat Pelatihan Pertanian Dan Pedesaan Swadaya (P4S) Lestari Makmur, Jl. Wates Km.12 Pollaman of Argorejo Village, Sedayu District, Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta. The research location has altitude of 149 meters above sea level, temperature 24.5 - 32.5 ℃, the rainfall 1500 - 2000 mm per year and air humidity 65 -95%. The study was conducted in June - October 2018. The study was conducted by 3 × 2 factorial experiment arranged in a completely randomized design with four replications. The first factor was the dosage of the bokasi fertilizer, which was 3, 6 and 9 ton.ha-1. The second factor is the type of bokasi fertilizer namely goat manure and cow dung. Observation variables included plant height, leaf number, flowering age, fruiting age, harvest age, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant, fruit diameter, fresh weight and dry weight of plants. Analysis of the date using analysis of variance followed by Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at a significant level of 5%. The results of the experiment indicated analysis showed no interaction between the dosage and the type of bokasi fetilizer to plant height, flowering age, fruiting age, plant fresh weight, plant dry weight and number of leaves. While there is an interaction between the dosage and the type of bokasi fertilizer on the number of fruits, fruit weight and diameter of the fruit. The highest yield was obtained on the type of goat manure bokasi with a dose of 9 tons. ha-1

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of rate of cow manure and the right source of humic nitrogen on the growth and yield of aloe vera plants in sand fields. The study was conducted in Cangkringan Hamlet, Poncosari, Srandakan, Bantul, D.I. Yogyakarta. The study was conducted from November 2017 - March 2018. The study was arranged in a Complete Randomized Block Design (RAKL), factorial 2 replications. The first factor is the dose of cow manure, consisting of two levels, namely 30 tons per ha and 45 tons per ha. The second factor, the type of nitrogen fertilizer supplemented with humic acid, consisted of urea + humic acid, ZA + humic acid, NPK + humic acid, KNO3 + humic acid. Analysis with variance at 5% real level, followed by Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) and level of 5%. Observations were observed, namely leaf length, leaf width, leaf thickness, leaf fresh weight, leaf dry weight, and number of leaves. The results of this study show that there is no significant difference and the interaction between cow manure and humic nitrogen sources on all variables observed in the growth of aloe vera plants in sandy soil

Abstract

This study aims to determine the frequency of weeding and N fertilizer application to weed growth and rice yield (Oryza sativa L.) varieties involved in the salibu system. The research was conducted at the Self-Supporting Agriculture and Rural Training Center P4S Lestari Makmur, Jl. Wates Km.12 Pollaman of Argorejo Village, Sedayu District, Bantul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. The research location at altitude is ± 149 meters above sea level, temperature 24.5 - 32.5 ℃, with rainfall 1500 - 2000 mm per year, air humidity 65 -95%. The study was conducted in March - June 2018. The study used experimental methods Randomized Completly Block Design (RCBD) with factorial 2x3. The first factor was the weeding frequency (P) at one time (P1) and twice (P2). The second factor was the frequency of fertilization (N) which consists of three levels, namely the one-time fertilization frequency (N1), twice the fertilization frequency (N2), and three times the fertilization frequency (N3). Total combination of 2x3 = 6 combinations. Each treatment consisted of three replications of five plant samples. Observation variables included number of tillers, plant height, weed types, weed fresh weights, weed dry weight, and harvested dry grain weight per hectare. Analysis of results with variance at 5% real level, followed by Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) and level of 5%. the results of this study showed no interaction between the frequency of weeding and N fertilizer application, but the frequency of weeding showed a significant difference in the number of tillers and weed types, whereas the application of N fertilizer showed significant differences in weeds fresh weight variables, weed dry weight, and yield of harvested dry grain per hectare

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui interaksi antara berbagai macam pupuk organik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil pada bawang merah varietas Thailand dan Sarmo. Penelitian dilaksanakan di desa Sukorukun, kecamatan Jaken, kabupaten Pati, Jawa Tengah. Lokasi ini berada pada ketinggian 10-35 meter dpl dengan suhu berkisar antara 24 – 33 ºC. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Petak Terbagi (Split Plot) 2 faktorial. Faktor pertama adalah varietas bawang merah yang terdiri dari 2 aras, yaitu bawang merah varietas Thailand (K1) dan bawang merah varietas Sarmo (K2). Faktor kedua adalah macam pupuk organik yang terdiri dari 4 aras, yaitu tanpa pupuk (P0), pupuk kandang sapi (P1), pupuk kandang ayam (P2), dan pupuk kandang kambing (P3), sehingga diperoleh 8 kombinasi perlakuan. Dari 8 kombinasi dengan 3 kali ulangan, didapatkan 24 unit percobaan dengan pengambilan sampel tiga tanaman per petak. Variabel pengamatan yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun per rumpun, jumlah umbi per rumpun, bobot Segar tanaman per rumpun, bobot kering tanaman per rumpun, bobot segar umbi per rumpun dan hasil per hektar. Hasil pengamatan dianalisis dengan menggunakan sidik ragam, dilanjutkan dengan Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) pada taraf α = 5%. Hasil analisis menunjukkan tidak terjadi interaksi pada kombinasi perlakuan varietas bawang merah dan macam pupuk organik pada seluruh variabel pengamatan kecuali variabel pertumbuhan berat kering tanaman. Perlakuan varietas bawang merah Thailand dan macam pupuk kandang ayam memberikan pertumbuhan bawang merah terendah dibanding kombinasi perlakuan lain. Varietas bawang merah Sarmo dan pupuk kandang sapi memberikan hasil berat kering tertinggi. Perlakuan macam pupuk organik memberikan hasil bawang merah lebih tinggi daripada kontrol. Varietas bawang merah tidak berpengaruh terhadap hasil bawang merah.
