The number of MMR in Indonesia is high among ASEAN countries, one of the causes is the low level of health services obtained during pregnancy. This condition can be prevented by regular and focused ANC by midwives who are skilled at therapeutic communication so that the visit of K1-K4 pregnant women can be realized. Pekanbaru has a coverage of K4 pregnant women visits that are still below the target, lower than K4 coverage in several other districts in Riau Province, one of the causes is due to the lack of maximal therapeutic communication for midwives in providing midwifery care. The purpose of this study was to determine how the stages of Therapeutic Communication of Midwives Delima in Antenatal Care services in Pekanbaru City. This study uses a qualitative approach, observation techniques, in-depth interviews, literature and documentation. The data collection technique was purposive, the informants were 4 midwives, 4 pregnant women patients in 4 clinics in the city of Pekanbaru. Abstract

Intra Uterine Device (IUD) is one of the MKJP which has many advantages compared to other contraceptive methods. Among the advantages is its high effectiveness so that it can increase the comfort of husband and wife relationships and can be effective immediately after installation with an effective duration of 5 to 10 years, but in fact, fertile age couples (PUS) prefer non-MKJP contraceptives, one of which is injectable contraceptives and pills. . Based on data from the Riau Provincial Health Office, in 2015 the ratio of injectable and IUD KB acceptors in Riau Province was 88.8% injectable KB acceptors and 1% IUD KB acceptors. In 2017, the number of injectable KB acceptors increased to 54.66% and 3.67% of IUD KB acceptors. The lowest use of IUDs in the entire city of Pekanbaru is Sidomulyo Health Center with a percentage of 1.8%. “Active family planning participants are 9,185 with a total of 12,220 PUS. What is assumed to be one of the causes is the lack of knowledge of EFA about IUDs so that factors related to the use of IUDs in EFA are sought. This type of research is quantitative analytic with a cross sectional design, the population in this study is EFA with a sample of 162 respondents. Sampling was done by Systematic Random Sampling. The measuring instrument used is a questionnaire. The results of the statistical test showed that there was a relationship between knowledge (Pvalue = 0,003) (POR= 3,261) (CI) 95% = 1,521-6,992, attitude (Pvalue = 0,001) (POR= 3.60(CI) 95% 1.685-7.691), husband's support (Pvalue = 0,002) (POR= 3,497) (CI) 95%=1,628-7.510, the role of health workers (Pvalue = 0,004) (POR= 3,112) (CI) 95%= 1,472-6,579. This research can be used as a reference as additional material in learning and add useful discourse, for further research in order to be able to develop new knowledge and insights in the field of research. It is hoped that health workers can further improve the provision of information regarding the selection and use of contraceptives as well as the perceived benefits and side effects of EFA by delivering information according to their level of education and understanding.

Abstract

The Germas program is an effective measure to preventincreasing mortality and morbidity due to disease, therefore it is necessary to carry out a synergistic program to encourage people to live healthy lives. The highest achievement rate for carrying out GERMAS activities in Riau is Pekanbaru City 76.5%, but the target achievement in several districts in Riau Province is still far from the target such as in Kampar Regency 68.3% while the lowest GERMAS achievement of several districts in Riau province from the target figure The Strategic Plan of the Ministry of Health is Pelalawan Regency 65%. GERMAS at the Bandar Seikijang Health Center has never reached the target set by the government, which is 80%. This type of research is quantitative with a cross sectional design. The population is the Head of the Family (KK) who live in the Bandar Seikijang Health Center Work Area in 2019 with a total of 6,338 families, a sample of 95 families. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The research instrument used a questionnaire. Data analysis was performed univariate and bivariate with chi-square test (α=0.05). The results of the bivariate analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between knowledge (ρ = 0.030 = 0.05), attitudes (ρ = 0.008 = 0.05), motivation (ρ = 0.020) = 0.05), media information (ρ =0.002 =0.05), the role of health workers (ρ =0.028˂α=0.05), and the role of the community environment (ρ =0.009 =0.05) with GERMAS behavior. It can be concluded that knowledge, attitudes, motivation, information media, the role of health workers, the role of the community environment are related to GERMAS behavior. So it is suggested that the Puskesmas can improve public services in order to increase public awareness of the importance of the GERMAS program that has been set by the government.
