Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of brand image and customer value on customer satisfaction and its impact on brand loyalty of freight forwarding services at PT. Arindo Jaya Mandiri Semarang. The population in this study is all customers of PT. Arindo Jaya Mandiri Semarang, they are 40 exporters. The data collection method is census that is total customer of PT. Arindo Jaya Mandiri Semarang, they are 40 exporters. The data are used the brand image, customer value, customer satisfaction, and brand loyalty collected derived from the questionnaire. The methods of analysis is using multiple linear regression and analysis path. The result of multiple linear regression of this research indicate the existence of positive and significant influence between brand image to customer satisfaction, the existence of positive and significant influence between customer value to customer satisfaction on regression equation stage 1. But for regression equation stage 2 that is positive and significant influence between brand Image of brand loyalty, the positive and significant influence between customer value on brand loyalty, and the positive and significant influence between customer satisfaction on brand loyalty. While the results of analysis of this research path shows that the brand image and customer value directly affect customer satisfaction in the analysis path of stage 1. As for the analysis path of stage 2 shows that customer satisfaction directly affect brand loyalty, brand image and customer value have no effect directly to brand loyalty through customer satisfaction.

Abstract

The application of science and technology and improving the quality of products to develop a snack business in the business group "Various Crackers and Chips" in the village of Meteseh, Tembalang, Semarang, will have an impact on increasing the income of members of the business group. The business group "Various Crackers and Chips" in Meteseh village in producing its products, still relying on manual labor, less hygienic and less varied and innovative products produced, the benefits obtained from year to year did not experience a significant increase. As educators, they are required to play a role in helping the Government, so the business group "Various Crackers and Chips" in Meteseh village has a better standard of living. In order for the products produced by the business group "Various Crackers and Chips" in Meteseh Village to be more innovative, it is necessary to increase the knowledge and skills that can produce added value, namely learning how to process crackers and chips with a variety of flavors, with more modern equipment and proper packaging procedures so that products are more durable and in demand by the community. The equipment used to process crackers and chips, has been prepared by the Community Service Team. The equipment used in the processing of crackers and chips is as follows: Gas Stove, frying pan, chopper, oil drainer, seasoning mixer, blender, airtight press machine, plastic packaging, ingredients for making crackers and chips etc. Business groups are also given management training and help find solutions to the problems they face. Problems with the problem of partner SMEs are then referred to as a number of program solutions to solve problems in the field of improving production and marketing processes. The method applied is training and mentoring. The output produced is the emergence of " Meteseh Typical Crackers and Chips" business. The value of support from the value added production of Meteseh's unique Crackers and Chips has the potential to become a typical Semarang souvenir from Meteseh village.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the effect of financial performance variables of Debt to EquityRatio (DER) and Current Ratio (CR) to the Stock Price with Return On Equity (ROE) as theintervening variable. The study is conducted to wholesale and retail companies that are listed inIndonesia Stock Exchange within 2010-2014 periods.The samples are chosen by using Purposive Sampling Method, where 15 companies inWholesale and Retail trading sub-sector are selected. There are two independent variables inthis research, they are Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Current Ratio (CR), one dependentvariable which is Stock Price as well as one intervening variable, Return on Equity (ROE). Analysis methods used in this research are multiple linear regression, simple linear regression and through path analysis.The result shows that both Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Current Ratio (CR) havesimultaneous positive and significant influence towards Return on Equity (ROE). Additionally,Return on Equity (ROE) variable positively and significantly affects the Stock Price. It can alsobe concluded that Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Current Ratio (CR) have an effect towardsStock Price with Return on Equity (ROE) as its intervening variable. It was found that DER hasa coefficient of 0,318 to the Stock Price through ROE, whereas CR has indirect effect of 0,2415towards Stock Price with ROE as intervening variable.Keywords: Debt to Equity Ratio, Current Ratio, Return on Equity, Stock Price
