Abstract

Nowadays in a competitive business environment, companies should prioritize the ability of their workforce. BLU UPTD Trans Semarang is a unit of Semarang Transportation Agency that is committed in fulfilling the need for proper public transportation facilities. This company focus on employees’ performance, everything which might affect it, and how to improve it. However, the employees’ performance had continued to fluctuate in the period from January to March 2020. Therefore, BLU UPTD Trans Semarang has to give more attention to increase the employees’ performance. The factors that might affect employees’ performance are workplace layout and non-physical work environment. The objective of this research is to analyze how is the influence of workplace layout and non-physical work environment on employees’ performance at BLU UPTD Trans Semarang. The research model is using multiple linear regression and SPSS 25. The sampling method of this research is purposive sampling by using work period criteria. The number of samples is 51 employees. The results of the partial significance test show that workplace layout and non-physical work environment have a positive and significant effect partially on the employees’ performance. Meanwhile, the results of the simultaneous significance test show that workplace layout and non-physical work environment have a significant effect simultaneously on employees’ performance. Based on the results of the coefficient of determination, workplace layout and non-physical work environment have a contribution effect of 67.6% which means they have a big influence on employees’ performance. BLU UPTD Trans Semarang should improve their arrangement of workplace layout and create a conducive non-physical work environment to increase the employees’ performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of logistic cost and product price toward export volume of PT MAS Sumbiri I. PT MAS Sumbiri I is an export oriented garment company. This study used secondary data in the form of time series data from January 2016 to December 2018. Data analysis method used in this research is multiple linear regression equipped with a descriptive analysis, a classic assumption test (tests for normality, heterokedasticity, multicollinearity, autocorrelation, and linearity) and hypothesis testing (F-test, T-test, and coefficient of determination). The classic assumption test shows that there is no problem with the variable being tested. The F-Test shows that logistic cost and product price simultaneously and significantly influence the export volume of PT MAS Sumbiri I. The T- test shows that logistic cost and product price have a negative and significant effect toward export volume. Based on the coefficient of determination, the logistic cost and product price have an effect of 46.3% on the export volume of PT MAS Sumbiri I while the remaining 53.7% is influenced by other variables outside this study

Abstract

This is important to know as an evaluation and improvement effort if there is something that needs to be improved and student satisfaction will create a good image for the institution, and a good image will create loyalty and pride of students in the Polines as an alma mater. This study is intended to find out how the level of student satisfaction over the service facilities of the Polytechnic Language Unit, as well as what factors influence student satisfaction with the service of the UPT  Bahasa Polines. The results of this study are expected to provide useful input for managers of health clinics in particular and Polines to be able to provide satisfactory services to students as their main consumers.Based on descriptive analysis using index analysis techniques (index value) and using the three-box criteria (three box method) it is known that all service quality variables (Tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy) are perceived high (good) by the respondents. The results of the quantitative analysis of the study also showed that the service quality of the UPT Bahasa Semarang State Polytechnic  consisting of Tangible (X1), Reliability (X2), Responsiveness (X3), Assurance (X4), Empathy (X5) had a positive effect on student satisfaction(Y), but the only significant effect is the Assurance variable (X4), and Empathy variable (X5).To increase student satisfaction, it is recommended to the manager of theUPT Bahasa Polines by increasing the elements as in the indicators of the two variables, namely Empathy variable (X5): Attention and sincerity of officers / lecturers in the UPT Bahasa Polines  in accepting and serving visitors. good, convincing and polite by not discriminating, notifying the results of learning development / test results and providing suggestions for successful learning,Whereas for the Assurance variable (X4) : Competency, education and appropriate and adequate experience of officers and instructors of UPT Bahasa Polines, Hospitality in welcoming and serving thus giving rise to feelings / beliefs as the right place of service, Completeness of learning support facilities such as projectors, books,  audio video, language equipment / laboratory so that it can guarantee the success of learning.

Abstract

Most of the business actors in Central Java are micro, small, medium and large scale business actors (MSMEs), which account for 99.19% of the total non-agricultural businesses in Central Java. Survey data shows that during the pandemic, 94.69% of businesses experienced a decline in sales. Based on the business scale, the decline in sales of more than 75% was experienced by 49.01% ultra-micro businesses, 43.3% micro businesses, 40% small businesses, and 45.83% medium businesses. The advantage of MSMEs in surviving the storm of crises for various reasons. First, in general, MSMEs produce consumer goods and services that are close to the needs of the community. Second, MSMEs do not rely on imported raw materials and make more use of local resources in terms of human resources, capital, raw materials and equipment. Third, MSE businesses generally use relatively low capital. Facing the Covid 19 pandemic, the MSME Center is conducting training and coaching/assistance so that MSMEs can adapt well and be able to maintain their business. This study aims to analyze the effect of training and coaching on the performance of SMEs assisted by the UMKM Center in Semarang City. Abstract

Politeknik Negeri Semarang conducts online-based communication through web media types: www.polines.ac.id, twitter:@polinesofficial, facebook: Polines Official, instagram: PolinesOfficial, youtube: PolinesOfficial. Politeknik Negeri semarang applies Cyber Public Relations as a means of communication performance. Cyber public relations is an application  of ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) tools for the purposes of Public Relations. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the effectiveness of communication and the application of cyber PR on the image formation of the Politeknik Negeri Semarang. The sample used in this study was 121 students, lecturers, education staff, as well as the general public outside the campus. Data collection using observation, and questionnaires with Differential Semantic scale. The result of the regression analysis is the value of F = 45,634 with Sig  0.000<0,05 . This means that the implementation of Cyber Public Relations and  Communication Effectiveness simultaneously have a significant effect on the Image of Polines. The coefficient of determination is 0.691. This means that the application of Cyber PR and Communication Effectiveness has an effect on the imageof Polines by 69.1%, the remaining 30,9% is influenced by other variables not examined. The implementation of Cyber Public Relations through Online Publications, through the use  social media partially has no significant effect on the image ofPolines.. The implementation of Cyber Public Relations through the Online Community Level partially has a significant effect on the image of Polines. Assessment of the Effectiveness of Cyber PR Communication through the Level of Information Capture (exposure) partially has a significant effect on the image of Polines. Assessment of Cyber PR Communication Effectiveness through the level of attention (attention),, through the level of understandingha (comprehensive),  partially has no significant effect on the image of Polines.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of employee’s commitment, training and supervision towards the implementation of The Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) at PT Trans Marga Central Java.This research is a quantitative research with sampling method is purposive sampling. This research is use data analysis method multiple linear regression analysis technique.The result showed that commitment and training have a positive and significant relationship with the implementation of The Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) meanwhile supervision partially has no significant relationship on the implementation of The Occupational Health and Safety (OHS). Simultaneously commitment, training and supervision have a positive and significant relationship with The implementation of The Occupational Health and Safety (OHS). The coefficient of determination in this research is 0,737 which means that 73,3% implementation of The Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is influenced by commitment, training and supervision.
