Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menelaah peningkatan kemampuan siswa SMA dalam memecahkan masalah matematis pada materi pokok program linear dengan jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas XI SMA Leppesa 2 Cililin dengan jumlah 23 orang pada tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa serta tes tulis yaitu pretes dan postest. Prosedur penelitian ini terdiri dari: 1) perencanaan, 2) pelaksanaan tindakan, 3) observasi dan evaluasi, dan 4) refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah matematis khususnya pada materi program linear dapat ditingkatkan melalui pendekatan kontekstual yang dikolaborasikan dengan media ICT yaitu aplikasi  geogebra.

Abstract

This descriptive research aims to analyze the errors of students in completing integer operations in fifth grade students at SD Negeri 2 Cisandawut Sindangkerta District, West Bandung Regency. The subjects in this study were all fifth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Cisandawut with a total of 36 people. Data collection methods used in this study were tests, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study used quantitative descriptive analysis and qualitative descriptive analysis. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, fifth grade students at SD Negeri 2 Cisandawut have low ability to understand integer operation material. This is indicated by the average percentage of achievement of all students which is only 12% with a very low category. The indicator of the problem with the lowest percentage of achievement is performing mixed integer operations. From the results of working on questions 1, 2, 3, 4, or question 5, the type of process skill error is the biggest type of error made by the subject even though the numbers are different. Process skill errors made by the subjects in working on questions 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 tend to have the same type of error that is the subject is not able to do because they do not know the procedures or steps that will be used to solve the problem correctly

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' interest in learning mathematics in linear program material using the geogebra application. The research method used is descriptive analysis. The population in this study were private high school in West Bandung Regency and the sample taken was class XI students of Leppesa 2 Cililin high school, totaling 25 people, 13 male and 12 female. The instrument used was a statement questionnaire with indicators of student interest in learning consisting of 20 statements. Based on the results of data analysis obtained an overall percentage of 51.39% which shows that most of the students have an interest in learning mathematics in linear program material assisted by geogebra ICT media.
