Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the motives and needs of the audience in accessing and watching video preaching Habib Syech bin Abdul Qodir Assegaf on youtube social media. This research uses primary data that is data obtained from Habib Syech bin Abdul Qodir Assegaf or so-called Syekhermania as key informant and information obtained through interview. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative research. The result of this research is known that the motives of syekhermania in accessing video of Da'wah Habib Syech through youtube have the aspect of need that is curiosity about information, the need for an entertainment which found in accessing youtube, the need of its nature to make the muballigh as an example in its life, the need to socialize with the community and the last is the need that just want to get away from various problems.

Abstract

The phenomenon of “youth Islamic preacher or da’i” who actively interact in Islamic teaching in mosques is a good news. They preach Islamic teaching using different approaches but accepted by young moslem people. These new and innovative methods makes da'wah interesting. The purpose of this research is to know management of impression of young Da’i, named Ustadz Handy Bonny in conveying his dakwah messages. This study used Erving Goffman's Impression Management study with qualitative method, Dramaturgi approach. The result of this research shows that Ustadz Handy Bonny performs impression management by producing good image in public. He uses social media as a stage in da'wah with interesting themes and designs, he also wear "casual" that accepted by difference young moslem people. He also behave in polite, relaxed, non-patronize, using soft language, keep ethics. By knowing the Impression Management of Da’i, it is hoped that da’i or Islamic preacher of da'wah can performed impression management properly so that the purpose of da'wah to change people to the Islamic way can be achieved easily.

Abstract

Some Islamic preachers use the mass media in da'wah including they are in Cigugur Kuningan using radio in conveying messages of da'wah to mad'u especially they are vulnerable to object of Christianization. This paper reveals the efforts of Radioqu 104.8 FM in counteracting the Christianization mission in Cigugur Kuningan. Based on research radioqu 104.8 FM has da'wah role in counteracting Christianization in Cigugur, Kuningan through delivering of da'wah information namely: broadcasting of Islamic science, broadcasting Islam news, broadcasting information of society need, and broadcasting time of prayer. Radioqu 104.8 FM also educate the community to counteract the Christianization by applying the educational function through the discussion of people's problems, educating through exemplary stories, and educating healthy lifestyles. Moreover, Radioqu 104.8 FM gives influence in society to counteract Christianity through efforts to encourage diligent worship, influence to defend aqidah, influence the mindset of non-Muslims that Islam is a religion of peace, and develop Islamic art. Dakwah efforts through the utilization of mass media complement the activities of conventional da'wah through Islamic preaching.Banyak da’i memanfaatkan media massa dalam berdakwah seperti para da’i di kecamatan Cigugur Kuningan yang memanfaatkan radio dalam menyampaikan pesan-pesan dakwah kepada mad’u khususnya yang rentan kristenisasi. Tulisan ini mengungkapkan upaya Radioqu 104.8 FM dalam menangkal misi kristenisasi di Kecamatan Cigugur Kuningan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian peranan dakwah Radioqu 104.8 FM dalam menangkal kristenisasi di Cigugur, Kuningan dilakukan melalui penyampaian informasi dakwah yaitu: menyiarkan ilmu keislaman, menyiarkan berita Islam, menyiarkan informasi kebutuhan masyarakat, dan menyiarkan waktu shalat. Radioqu 104.8 FM juga turut mendidik masyarakat untuk menangkal kristenisasi dengan menerapkan fungsi mendidik melalui tanya jawab masalah umat, mendidik melalui kisah teladan, dan mendidik pola hidup sehat. Demikian juga Radioqu 104.8 FM berupaya mempengaruhi masyarakat untuk menangkal kristenisasi melalui upaya mendorong rajin ibadah, mempengaruhi untuk mempertahankan akidah, mempengaruhi pola pikir umat non Muslim bahwa Islam agama damai, dan mengembangkan seni Islam. Upaya dakwah melalui pemanfaatan media ini melengkapi kegiatan dakwah konvensional yang sudah berjalan melalui ceramah.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui aktivitas komunikasi dakwah dengan segala permasalahan yang terjadi pada pesantren terpadu At-Taubah di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Klas II B, Cianjur. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilaksanakan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Temuan penelitian ini adalah pesantren di dalam lembaga pemasyarakatan berbeda dengan pesantren yang berada di luar lembaga pemasyarakatan. Pesantren yang berada di luar lembaga pemasyarakatan menjadi tempat untuk belajar ilmu-ilmu agama, sedangkan pesantren di dalam Lembaga Pemasyarakatan selain tempat belajar ilmu-ilmu agaman juga menjadi pusat penyadaran para Warga Binaan, sebutan lain dari penghuni Lembaga Pemasyarakatan yang sedang menjalani hukuman pidana.

Abstract

This study describes the strategy of the propaganda of the Ahmadiyah Indonesia (JAI) congregation in facing the resistance of Muslims to create a positive self-image in the community. Using ethnographic studies with da'wah strategy theory, and the dramaturgy theory of this research was carried out in the villages of Tenjowaringin Salawu, and Cipakat Singaparna Tasikmalaya, West Java. The results revealed that the relationship between JAI and the community, especially non-Ahmadiyya Muslims in the villages of Tenjowaringin Salawu and in the Cipakat Village, Tasikmalaya, was quite good. Although there were several explosions caused by provocations from groups outside the community of the two villages, this did not make JAI far from the surrounding community. The propaganda strategy carried out by the Ahmadiyya community was carried out in three activities, namely communication through Rabtah activities, cooperation through charity wikari, and education through the Tarbiyah / School institution. The application of da'wah strategies carried out by JAI was able to shape their positive self-image in the community in accordance with the expectations of the congregation and the management of the Ahmadiyya organization. AbstrakPenelitian ini menggambarkan strategi dakwah jemaat Ahmadiyah Indonesia (JAI) dalam menghadapi resistensi umat Islam untuk menciptakan citra  diri  positif  di  masyarakat. Menggunakan studi etnografi dengan teori strategi dakwah, dan teori dramaturgi penelitian ini dilakukan di desa Tenjowaringin Salawu, dan Cipakat Singaparna Tasikmalaya, Jawa Barat. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa hubungan JAI dengan masyarakat khususnya umat Islam non-Ahmadiyah di desa Tenjowaringin Salawu maupun di Desa Cipakat Singaparna Tasikmalaya cukup baik. Meskipun beberapa kali muncul letupan-letupan yang disebabkan oleh provokasi dari kelompok di luar masyarakat dua desa tersebut, namun hal itu tidak menjadikan JAI menjadi jauh dari masyarakat sekitarnya. Strategi dakwah yang dilakukan jemaat Ahmadiyah dilakukan  dalam tiga kegiatan yaitu komunikasi melalui kegiatan Rabtah, kerjasama melalui wikari amal,   dan pendidikan melalui lembaga Tarbiyah/Sekolah. Penerapan Strategi dakwah yang dilakukan oleh JAI mampu membentuk citra diri positif mereka di masyarakat sesuai dengan yang diharapkan oleh jemaah maupun pengurus organisasi Ahmadiyah.

Abstract

This research is to study about da'wah in the community of dowry fighters. How is the process of preaching the dowry fighting community in influencing mad'u. This study uses qualitative methods with the methodology of feomenology. The technique of collecting data in this research is observation and interviews. This study uses the theory of trusted communication with the input process output method, namely by incorporating da'wah material into the target mad'u with the process of studies and then obtaining its output in the form of successful da'wah with a decision full of mad'u's confidence in emigrating. The theory makes the results of this study with the introduction of religious problems in the community, especially young men in courtship, which then held an approach to the reasons for the behavior of madu using the productivity of the dowry fighters community by motivating madu to solve the shari 'provisions. at Islam which then made the mad'u run according to what was suggested by the missionary community.AbstrakPenelitian ini mengkaji dakwah kelompok dalam komunitas pejuang mahar khususnya proses komunikasi dalam dakwah komunitas pejuang mahar untuk memotivasi jamaahnya menghindari pacaran. Penelitian ini menggunkan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitin ini dengan obervasi dan wawancara.  Penelitian ini menggunakan teori komunikasi kelompok terpercaya dengan input-proses-output. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan alur pengenalan masalah keagamaan masyarakat terutama pemuda dalam maraknya pacaran. yaitu memasukan bahan dakwah ke dalam sasaran mad’u dengan proses kajian-kajian lalu mendapatkan outputnya berupa keberhasilan dakwah dengan keputusan penuh keyakinan mad’u dalam berhijrah. proses pendekatan dilakukan dengan melihat alasan dari prilaku mad’u. komunitas pejuang mahar memotivasi mad’u menemukan jalan keluar yang sesuai dengan ketentuan syari’at Islam.

Abstract

This research is studying about how a reference group can increase a popularity of Dr. K.H. Abdul Hamid as a Mubaligh. This research uses a qulaitiative method. Informan in this study were Abdul Hamid himself, some a member of majelis ta’lim which is often listen to da’wah of Abdul Hamid, and His friends who often accompany Abdul Hamid in his da’wah activities. Primary qualitative data retrieved directly using indepth interviews to obtain data. The purpose of this study is how the reference group capable to develop a popularity of Abdul Hamid. The theory uses a group theory by Lazasfeld, Berelson, and Gaudet. Conculation of this research are the reference group proven effective in develop a popularity of person. If it’s positiv will be positive. And if it’s negative will be negative too.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengungkapkan tentang respon da’i (pelaku dakwah) di Tenjowaringin Salawu Tasikmalaya dalam menghadapi gerakan Jemaat Ahmadiyah Indonesia (JAI). Penelitian dengan metode etnografi ini menggambarkan respon dan strategi da’i dalam menghadapi gerakan JAI di Desa Tenjowaringin dan Kutawaringin (desa pemekaran Tenjowaringin). Para da’i merespon gerakan JAI tersebut dengan dua kegiatan dakwah yaitu dakwah defensif atau bertahan dan dakwah ofensif atau aktif. Dalam melaksanakan dakwah secara aktif para da’i melakukan empat strategi dakwah: 1) dakwah bil-hikmah atau memberi contoh berupa kata-kata maupun perbuatan yang bernilai islami, 2) dakwah bil Mauidhatil Hasanah atau dakwah dengan pemberian nasehat dan sosialisasi, 3) dakwah bil Mujadalah atau dakwah melalui dialog dan perdebatan, dan 4) dakwah bil-hal atau dakwah melalui pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM).

Abstract

This article aims to find out how communication (proselytizing) message appeals in the literacy proselytizing of Ustadz Giovani Van Rega. Using a descriptive qualitative method, this study has revealed that the message appeals used by Ustadz Rega are rational message appeals, appeals of fear, appeal for rewards, and motivational appeals. Ustadz Rega is considered using a rational appeal because he refers to the Qur'an and hadith. While the appeal of fear clearly understood from his statement that Indonesian Muslim youths Islam will suffer from weak faith, physical, science, and weak creativity if they are illiterate. The proposition of the appeal of reward is the more a Muslim well literate, the more honorable he is. Whilts the motivational appeal refers to his that the dakwah of literacy is a necessity in order to be able to conquer the world.

Abstract

AbstrakBanyaknya residivis yang kembali melakukan kejahatan setelah keluar dari penjara menjadi masalah yang meresahkan masyarakat. Masalah ini merupakan pekerjaan rumah bagi lembaga pemasyarakatan dalam membina anak didiknya yaitu para Warga Binaan Pemasyarakatan (WBP) sehingga perlu diterapkan strategi komunikasi dakwah yang tepat dan kreatif. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui strategi komunikasi dakwah yang dilakukan Lembaga Pemasyarakatan di kota Metro, serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam kegiatan dakwah. Menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus ditemukan strategi komunikasi Lembaga Pemasyarakatan dalam pembinaan mental warga binaan pemasyarakatan menggunakan strategi tilawah melalui ceramah, strategi tazkiyah melalui dzikir bersama dan strategi ta’lim melalui halaqah jamaah di masjid At-Taubah. Temuan dalam penelitian ini adalah setelah strategi komunikasi dakwah tersebut diterapkan, warga binaan mengalami perubahan menjadi sadar dan bersikap lebih baik dari sebelumnya, juga timbul efek lanjutan yaitu berkurangnya residivis mantan warga binaan yang kembali masuk penjara.AbstractSome residivists ommit criminals after released from the jail have been obstacles for society. This problems are home works for prison management in educating them. it is necessary to apply appropriate and creative communication strategies with Islamic perspective. This study aims to find out the communication strategy of da’wah conducted by preachers in the mentoring of assisted citizens in class II prison A Metro city and several supporting and inhibiting factors in preaching. The method used in this study is qualitative with a case study approach. The da’wah communication strategy applied in class II prison A Metro city in the mentoring of correctional inmates is a reconnaissance strategy through preachers, tazkiyah strategies through collective dhikr and ta’lim strategies through the halaqah of At-Taubah mosque congregation. The results of the study can be concluded that, after the implementation of the da’wah communication strategy by the preachers who issued above to the inmates in prison, the spread of deviant circumstances became aware and better than before and presented a deterrent effect.
