Abstract

ABSTRAKPupuk organik cair (POC) urin kelinci mempunyai kandungan unsur hara yang baik bagi tanaman. Semangka merupakan salah satu buah yang mempunyai potensi besar untuk dibudidayakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konsentrasi pupuk organik cair urin kelinci yang tepat untuk pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman semangka, dengan pengurangan pupuk anorganik sebanyak 50%. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Januari sampai dengan April 2018, di Curug Serpong Tangerang Selatan, pada ketinggian ± 25 meter di atas permukaan laut dengan jenis tanah Latosol.  Metode penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan enam perlakuan konsentrasi POC urin dan diulang sebanyak empat kali.  Perlakuan terdiri dari pupuk anorganik 100%, pengurangan pupuk anorganik sebesar 50% ditambah POC urin dengan konsentrasi 5, 10, 15, 20 dan 25ml/Liter di aplikasikan sebanyak 250 ml air / tanaman.  Parameter yang diamati adalah jumlah daun, jumlah cabang, jumlah bunga jantan, jumlah bunga betina, bobot buah dan diameter buah.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan bermacam  – macam konsentrasi POC urin kelinci memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah daun, jumlah cabang, dan jumlah bunga jantan tanaman semangka tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah bunga betina, diameter buah dan bobot buah semangka. ABSTRACT Liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) rabbit urine has good nutrient content for plants. Watermelon is one of the fruits that has great potential to be cultivated. This study aims to determine the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer of rabbit urine which is appropriate for the growth and product of watermelon plants, with a reduction of inorganic fertilizers by 50%. This research was conducted from January to April 2018, at Curug Serpong, South Tangerang, at an altitude of ± 25 meters above sea level with Latosol soil types. The research method used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with six treatments for urine LOF concentrations and repeated four times. The treatment consisted of 100% inorganic fertilizer, 50% reduction in inorganic fertilizer plus urine LOF with concentrations of 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25ml / Liter applied as much as 250 ml of water / plant. The parameters observed were the number of leaves, number of branches, number of male flowers, number of female flowers, fruit weight and diameter of fruit. The results showed that the addition of various kinds of rabbit urine LOF concentrations had a significant influence on the number of leaves, number of branches, and the number of male flowers of watermelon plants but did not significantly affect the number of female flowers, fruit diameter and watermelon weight.

Abstract

Kedelai sebagai sumber protein dan pangan fungsional mempunyai nilai strategis dalam meningkatkan ketahanan pangan nasional.  Saat ini produksi kedelai nasional hanya dapat memenuhi 32 % dari kebutuhan dalam negeri, sedang sisanya harus diimpor.  Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendapatkan  konsentrasi pupuk Fertisol yang tepat untuk tanaman kedelai. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta. Pelaksanaan penelitian  dari bulan Februari 2018 sampai dengan Mei  2018.   Penelitian  menggunakan Rancangan Acak  Kelompok  (RAK),  dengan 6 perlakuan konsentrasi pupuk organik Fertisol dengan 4 ulangan.  Perlakuan jenis pupuk organik adalah K0 (Urea, SP 36, KCl 100 %/kontrol), K1 ( konsentrasi pupuk organik  Fertisol 2 ml/l air ), K2 (konsentrasi pupuk organik Fertisol  3 ml/l air ), K3 (konsentrasi pupuk organik Fertisol  4 ml/l air), K4 (konsentrasi pupuk organik Fertisol 5 ml/l air ) dan K5 (konsentrasi pupuk organik Fertisol 6 ml/l air ).  Variabel yang diamati adalah tinggi tananam, jumlah cabang, umur berbunga, umur panen, jumlah polong, persentase polong bernas, dan berat biji. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan : Tidak ada perbedaan pertumbuhan dan produksi kedelai akibat pemberian POC dibandingkan kontrol.  Pemberian POC konsentrasi 5 ml/l air memberikan jumlah cabang dan berat biji lebih tinggi dibandingkan semua perlakuan.

Abstract

Waru Village has excellent business prospects for Fermented Cassava as a home industry product. The existing problems encountered by the producer were limited product shelf life, the absence of a unique selling proposition, and the lack of brand identity. This community service activity aimed to educate the importance of good packaging and provide training on the production and packaging of Fermented Cassava with various forms of material. It was conducted in March 2022, in Waru Village, Parung Sub-district, using two methods, i.e seminar and demonstration method. The type and research approach used was descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were obtained from observation, interviews, and documentation. The technique applied to measure the profitability index and partners' perceptions was the R/C ratio and Likert scale. The R/C ratio is 1,37, while the simulation demonstrated that producers could increase profits by up to 375% and 416% by repackaging the product with bamboo buckets and plastic boxes. This study concludes that the production of Fermented Cassava is profitable and partners are aware of the product's unique selling propositions.
