Abstract

The success of a region in improving its economy can be measured from the growth of the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) from various existing sectors. This Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) growth occurs if the area has a leading sector or a base sector whose growth rate is relatively fast and has strong competitiveness as well as a non-base sector that has the opportunity to become a base sector if the local government is able to condition the existing opportunities into good results. optimal. This study uses secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Riau Province in the form of time data before covid-19 and after covid-19 in 2019 and 2021. This research was conducted to identify the basic and non-base sectors in the economic structure of Dumai City in in 2019 and 2021 using the LQ (location quotient) analysis method, the Dynamic Location Quotient (DLQ) method. 12 leading sectors, 3 potential sectors, 1 developing sector and 1 lagging sector, with the base sector having the highest average SLQ index value ≥ 1 and the sector which is a non-base sector with an index value < 1.it can be concluded that the emergence of covid-19 in the city of Dumai did not change the basic sector to non-base based on the SLQ and DLQ analysis using the calculation of the PDRB of the city of Dumai in 2019 and 2020.

Abstract

In general, business fields have the goal of improving people's welfare, the formation of business fields will create jobs so that the unemployment rate will decrease. The business field is an important thing in an area where currently it is related to economic growth, this business sector has a major impact on the economy. The business sectors are agriculture, processing industry, electricity, gas and drinking water, buildings, trade, hotels and restaurants, transportation and communications, finance, leasing and corporate services, as well as other services. From these sectors it is clear that this cannot be separated from the factors of the progress of a regional economy. The benchmark for the success of the business field is seen from the growth and structure of the business field. Ogan Komering Ilir Regency (OKI) is ranked the 6th most densely populated area in the province of South Sumatra with a population of around 731,721 people, all of them need jobs, if there are few business fields, the poverty and unemployment rates will increase. And it is certain that the field of business is very important to support the prosperity of the Indonesian people.

Abstract

Community involvement in providing problem reports is essential to improving the quality of life in cities and villages. Jambi already has "SiKESAL" as a problem-reporting application in Jambi, but it has not been able to provide information on the spatial distribution of locations through a single dashboard display. This research aims to apply the Geospatial Dashboard application as a spatial-based problem-reporting application using ArcGIS technology from ESRI. Sampling as information on problem topics for the development of the Geospatial Dashboard includes road damage, availability of disability facilities in houses of worship, illegal waste disposal sites, illegal parking, and road damage. The development of this Geospatial Dashboard presents the distribution, number, range, trend, and centre of problems so that it can be used for direct monitoring, decision-making, and solving related departmental problems. The study results show that the development of the Geospatial Dashboard can create data integration between sectors in real-time or quickly and assist local governments in solving various problems in Jambi Province.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana perilaku manajemen keuangan berdampak pada pelaku UMKM Kuliner di Jln. Jend Sudirman. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, dengan informan sebanyak delapan orang. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, kepustakaan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data meliputi pengumpulan, reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa COVID-19 dan manajemen keuangan mempengaruhi usaha kecil dan menengah (UMKM) makanan. Dilihat dari perspektif literasi keuangan, pencatatan, investasi, dan tabungan, ternyata dapat berdampak negatif pada penghasilan pelaku UMKM Kuliner di Jl. Jend Sudirman baik sebelum maupun selama pandemi COVID-19.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the sharia marketing mix strategy, inhibiting factors and efforts to increase sales of Kremes Arema Chicken Restaurant in Rimbo Bujang District. This study used qualitative methods and the sample of this study was the owner of Kremes Arema Chicken Restaurant. Data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The conclusions show that: (1) The sharia marketing mix strategy has not been carried out optimally (2) Production inhibiting factors include; the amount of money available for promotion, the nature of the market, the nature of the product and the product life cycle (3) The efforts made by Kremes Arema Chicken Restaurant in increasing sales include; Find new customers, respond quickly to customers, add new employees, and have special access for buyers to choose products safely and comfortably.

Abstract

The influence of the quality of human resources and management on the collection of infaq and alms at the national amil zakat (BAZNAS) Jambi City in 2016-2022. There are many strategies that can be done to attract people's interest to donate and give charity in BAZNAS, one of which is the quality of human resources in BAZNAS itself. The quality of human resources greatly determines the interest of the community in providing infaq and alms to BAZNAS. Apart from that, the management of infaq and alms fund management at BAZNAS must also be well organized. This study aims to determine whether the quality of human resources and management have an effect on the collection of infaq and alms at the national zakat charity (BAZNAS) Jambi City in 2016- 2022. This study uses quantitative methods by obtaining primary data from questionnaires by taking 20 respondents. The results of the t-test show that the variables of human resource quality and management have a significant effect. The results of the F-test stated that the quality of human resources and management had a significant effect on the collection of infaq and alms. The value of the coefficient of determination of the quality of human resources and management is 33.2% for the collection of infaq and alms.

Abstract

Mendahara Village is highly vulnerable to fire disasters. Situational analysis results show that Mendahara Village is a densely populated area, with most of the houses made of wood, a low understanding of disaster management, a lack of awareness about disaster preparedness concepts, the absence of a disaster preparedness framework, and no existing policies or regulations from the village government regarding fire disaster management. Various community service activities have enhanced public awareness of disaster consciousness, such as disaster mitigation socialization and training, disaster risk management, and the formation of Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) based on fire disaster-resilient village indicators. These activities have positively impacted increasing community awareness, knowledge, and skills in facing and managing fire disasters. This community service aims to improve public understanding of fire disaster management through education and training and the formation of FGDs based on fire disaster-resilient village indicators. The method used is active participatory partners with four stages: assessment, preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The partners in this activity are Mendahara Ilir Village. The implementation of community service enhances public understanding of the use and distribution of fire extinguishers at fire disaster risk points. The community service activities were carried out in collaboration with the East Tanjung Jabung Regency BPBD by delivering materials and conducting practical sessions. Following the community service activities, there was an average increase of 59.2% in the community's understanding of fire disaster management. The formation of FGDs involved various village community elements with tasks and objectives based on fire disaster-resilient village strategies and components. Disaster risk reduction activities must be conducted continuously to achieve a disaster-resilient village. [Desa Mendahara memiliki kerentanan yang tinggi terhadap bencana kebakaran. Hasil analisis situasi menunjukan bahwa Desa Mendahara merupakan kawasan permukiman padat, mayoritas hunian terbuat dari kayu, pemahaman penanggulangan bencana yang masih rendah, belum memiliki pemahaman tentang konsep persiapan menghadapi bencana, belum terbangun konsep kesiapsiagaan bencana, dan belum ada kebijakan atau peraturan pemerintah desa tentang penanganan bencana kebakaran. Berbagai kegiatan pengabdian telah dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat terhadap kesadaran bencana, seperti sosialisasi dan pelatihan mitigasi bencana, manajemen risiko bencana, serta pembentukan FGD berdasarkan indikator Desa Tangguh Bencana kebakaran. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan kesadaran, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam menghadapi dan menanggulangi bencana kebakaran. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat dalam penanggulangan bencana kebakaran melalui pendidikan dan pelatihan, serta pembentukan FGD yang didasarkan pada indikator Desa Tangguh Bencana kebakaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah partisipatif aktif mitra dengan empat tahapan, yaitu tahap assessment, tahap persiapan, tahap implementasi, dan tahap evaluasi. Mitra dalam kegiatan ini adalah Desa Mendahara Ilir. Pelaksanaan pengabdian meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai penggunaan dan penyebaran alat pemadam kebakaran di titik risiko bencana kebakaran. Pelaksanaan pengabdian berupa penyampaian materi dan praktik dilakukan bersama BPBD Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur. Setelah pelaksanaan pengabdian, terjadi peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 59.2% terhadap pemahaman masyarakat tentang penanggulangan bencana kebakaran. Pembentukan FGD melibatkan berbagai elemen masyarakat desa yang memiliki tugas dan tujuan berdasarkan strategi dan komponen Desa Tangguh Bencana. Kegiatan pengurangan risiko bencana harus dilakukan secara berkelanjutan agar Desa Tangguh Bencana dapat tercapai.]
