Abstract

Intrinsic motivation is an employee motivating factor for achievement that comes from within the person, while extrinsic motivation is sourced from outside the person. This research has been conducted to survey on 140 employees of PT Taman Wisata Candi Prambanan consisting of 65 permanent employees and 75 contract employees. The results of this research can be concluded that intrinsic and extrinsic motivation have significant effects to employee performance indirectly with job satisfactions mediation. The influence of extrinsic motivation on job satisfaction and subsequently to employee performance is more dominant than intrinsic motivation. The level of intrinsic motivation, extrinsic motivation, job satisfaction, and employee performance of permanent employees, higher than contract employees, and the difference of them is significant.

Abstract

Organizational commitment plays a role in determining the employee’s performance. Such a commitment is affected by many variables, career development,such as leadership role, work stress and work motivation. Effects of career development, leadership role,work stress and work motivation toward the employee’s performance are to be determined, with organizational commitment as the intervening variable. A research has been conducted on 87 employees of Din.TKS Sleman. It can be concluded that, wholly or partially, the effects of leadership role, career development, and work motivation toward employee’s performance are significantly positive; the work stress’ effect is significantly negative. From the four variables, the career development affects dominantly.

Abstract

Strike wich happened in some companies usualy caused by unsatisfied condition for employee. The strike may inflicts a loss upon the company because it may disturb lead to un achieve of some company goals. Increasing work satisfaction is affected by financial or physical satisfaction (hard approach) and psycological or social satisfaction (soft approach). It was revealed that hard and soft approach showed a significan negative effect on strike potential. It was also concluded that hard approach variable dominanly influenced on strike potential compared to soft approach. It was also concluded that the compoany have implemented the hard and soft approach to minimize the strike potential.

Abstract

Performance is the work result of the employees to achieve of some company goals. The purpose of this researches is to determine the effect of leadership and work motivation to the employee performance as partial and simultaneous at the UPT Pasar I Kabupaten Sleman. Research using multiple regression analysis. The result showed leadership and work motivation a significant positive effect on employee performance. It was also concluded thatleadership variable dominanly influenced on employee performance compared to work motivation.

Abstract

These days corporate world faces tight competition, so that marketing function in company become of vital importance. One of the strategies to interrogate that by using marketing concept. Implementation of marketing concept that is market orientation, consist of customer orientation, competitor orientation and inter function coordination, and also competitive advantage will improve efficacy of industrial effort. Research on 50 respondent of batik industry in Yogyakarta showed that customer orientation, competitor orientation, inter function coordination and competitive advantage proven improve efficacy of industrial effort by significant, both all variable (F-test) and also partially (t-test). Result of multiple correlation very strong (R = 0.92), most dominant variable is customer orientation (highest r2).

Abstract

Employee of UPTD PKB Dinas Perhubkominfo Kabupaten Sleman in providing services of motor vehicle testing must meet the criteria as contained in the SK MENPAN No.63/2003 covering six criterias that are service procedure, service time, service cost, service product, infrastructure, and competence of service provider. Consumer satisfaction of the application of motor vehicles testing measured with five characteristics, that are tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The results of this research indicate that performance of employee in service will support organizational performance significanly (Z-test). The variables of organizational performance (service procedure, service time, service cost, service product, infrastructure, and competence of service provider) have an effect to increase consumer satisfaction of the application of motor vehicles test, partially (t-test) and also simultaneously (F-test). In this research, the dominant effect of customer satisfaction to organizational performance is infrastructure.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to review the development of agricultural cooperatives based members in the globalization. Given the national economic developmentof agricultural development a high priority. And in this agricultural development cooperative strategic role. Agricultural cooperatives is the largest cooperative in Indonesia, but the contribution to the national income is the lowest. Infact, agricultural cooperatives (KUD) actually for med from the top (Government/Employers) and not in bottom of the community. Agricultural cooperatives lost their identity due to the impact of the on going globalization. In such conditions, the need for macro policies conducive to the development of agricultural cooperatives in Indonesia, a complete under standing of the condition of cooperatives, the need for strategic step simprove the internal conditions of the cooperative, and the need for network communication and cooperation with the stakeholders.

Abstract

The population in this research a total of 70 employees that is also a sample of all the population in that office. Research using multiple regression analysis. The result showed work motivation and work discipline a significant positive effect on employee performance. It was also concluded that work discipline variable dominanly influenced on employee performance compared to work motivation.

Abstract

Strikes happened in some companies are often caused by employee dissatisfaction. They may disturb production processes and impede the achievement of company goals. Increasing job satisfaction can minimize the strike potential. Job satisfaction is affected by financial, physical, psychological, and social satisfaction factors. It was revealed that financial, physical, psychological, and social satisfaction have statistically significant negative effects on strike potential, with social factor to be the most dominant. Thus, company may implement financial, physical, psychological, and social satisfaction factors to minimize the strike potential.

Abstract

Leadership, compensation, communication, and work motivation positively affect the job satisfaction. Otherwise, job satisfaction negatively affect turnover intention. The results of 83 respondents of FTI UPN Veteran Yogyakarta employees can be explained as follows, it is proved significanly that there is an indirect influence of leadership, compensation, communication, and work motivation to turnover intention with job satisfaction as intermediate variable. While the direct effect of those variables are not significant. Between the four independent variables, the most dominant influence to increase job satisfaction and subsequently lower turnover intention is the work motivation.
