Abstract

Abstract Development of teaching materials in learning physics is something that is needed and implanted continuously. Thus, the development of teaching materials has an important role in learning physics to complete the nature of physics it self. Physics learning is mostly only taught based on the theories in the book, so it is difficult for students to imagine the physical phenomena that occur. One effect is the low ability of students in problem solving. This study aims to produce PhyCCTM teaching materials that can improve problem solving skills and find out the improvement of students’ problem solving abilities using PhyCCTM teaching materials. This research is a research and development. The development procedure refers to the development adapted from the 4D model which consists of four stage namely defining, designing, developing, and distributing. Content validation was carried out by four lecturers and seven physics teachers. The Trials was conducted at school by applying the quasi-experimental method and using the control group pretest and posttest design. The trial was conducted by taking two classes as the experimental and control class. Improvement and differences in the result of students’ problem solving abilities in the experimental and control groups were done by t-test.The research results obtained are PhyCCTM teaching materials to improve problem-solving abilities suitable for use with the category of “Good” and PhyCCTM able to improve students’ ability to solve problems with sig. (2-tailed) of  0,000. The conclusion obtained from this study is that PhyCCTM teaching materials developed are feasible to use and can improve students’ ability to solve problems.Keywords: PhyCCTM, Problem Solving Skill

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar, dan mendeskripsikan respons siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT Berbantuan Papan Game Number One pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP N 5 Praya Timur pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 yang berjumlah 23 orang. Objek penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar dan respons siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus pembelajaran dengan tahapan-tahapan dalam setiap siklus meliputi perencanaan, tindakan, observasi/evaluasi, dan refleksi. Data hasil belajar siswa dikumpulkan melalui pengisian lembar kerja siswa (LKS)/tugas, nilai game/permainan, dan tes akhir siklus. Data respons siswa dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner. Data yang telah terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis secara deskriptif. Penelitian dikatakan berhasil apabila aspek hasil belajar menunjukkan Daya Serap Siswa (DSS) ≥ Keriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) yaitu 70 dan Ketuntasan Klasikal (KK) ≥ 85%, dan respons siswa minimal berkategori positif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yaitu dari 74,0 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 73,9% dan standar deviasi 6,8 pada siklus I menjadi 75,5 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 87% dan standar deviasi 6,4 pada siklus II, dan respons siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT Berbantuan Papan Game Number One diperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 77,8 dengan standar deviasi 2,3 dan kategori positif. Hasil analisis data tersebut menunjukkan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT Berbantuan Papan Game Number One dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII SMP N 5 Praya Timur pada tahun pelajaran 2019/2020.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) meningkatkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa dalam perkuliahan dasar-dasar kependidikan melalui pemanfatan program google classroom, (2) meningkatkan prestasi belajar mahasiswa dalam perkuliahan dasar-dasar kependidikan melalui pemanfatan program google classroom, dan (3) mendeskripsikan tanggapan mahasiswa terhadap pemanfatan program google classroom pada perkuliahan dasar-dasar kependidikan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Masing-masing siklus mencakup 4 tahapan yaitu perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, evaluasi, dan refleksi. Hasil yang diperoleh pada siklus I yaitu rerata prestasi belajar mahasiswa sebesar 6,4 dengan presentase kelulusan sebesar 75,8 % Dan presentase ketidaklulusan sebesar 24,2 %, serta rerata motivasi belajar mahasiswa sebesar 77,5 dengan kategori positif. Hasil pada siklus II menunjukkan rerata prestasi belajar mahasiswa adalah 84,1 dengan presenase kelulusan sebesar 97,0 % dan presentase ketidaklulusan sebesar 3,0 % serta motivasi belajar mahasiswa sebesar 79,9 dengan kategori positif. Disamping itu, hasil penyebaran angket menunjukkan bahwa tanggapan mahasiswa terhadap pemanfaaatan google classroom sebesar 79,4 dengan kategori positif

Abstract

This study aims to find out (1) What are the social character building programs at MTs Ishlahul Muslimin Senteluk Batulayar. (2) How is the implementation of social character development programs at MTs Ishlahul Muslimin Senteluk Batulayar. Based on the location and source of the data in this research, it is included in field research, and in terms of the nature of the data, it is included in qualitative research, based on the discussion including descriptive research. Methods of data collection using observation, interviews, documentation and triangulation. Data analysis was carried out in the field, and testing the validity of the data was carried out by observation, triangulation, and peer discussion. After the researchers conducted the research, it can be concluded that social character building is necessary, 1) Creating a Social character development program needs the best possible preparation, studying it before the character building process, preparing physiologically and psychologically for the teacher. 2) In the implementation of the character development program, namely efforts to improve the social character of students, teachers use good methods / methods, namely teacher-centered and student-centered coaching using methods. Besides that, teachers must try to instill habituation and role models in all things, especially in terms of fostering social character to students in programs that have been planned. Supporting factors for character building by teachers in the implementation of social character development at MTs Ishlahul Muslimin Senteluk Batulayar include: the condition of students who have a strong level of enthusiasm and enthusiasm, stable student conditions, competent teacher conditions and willing to fight for better change, facilities and infrastructure supportive learning environment.   Keywords: Social Character, Coaching Program

Abstract

This research aims to produce WEPMA on feasible work and energy materials in terms of materials, media, and educator responses. The research method used is research and development (R&D), using the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The product developed is a mobile phone-based physics learning media on business and energy material which consists of 6 main components: homepage, competency, material, simulation, quiz, and profile. The results showed that WEPMA could be used as a teaching medium in the physics subject of work and energy based on expert judgment with outstanding categories for media, materials, and educator responses.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi suhu dan kalor. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini mengunakan sampel dengan jumlah 39 siswa yang terbagi menjadi dua kelas dengan 19 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan sisanya sebagai kelas kontrol. Kedua kelas ini diberi dua perlakuan yang berbeda pada kelas eksperimen diberi perlakuan menggunakan model pembelajaran discovery learning sedangkan pada kelas control di beri perlakuan model pembelajaran konvensional. Kedua kelas diberikan soal tes yang sama untuk memperoleh hasil dari perlakuan. Berdasarkan analisis data menggunakan deskriftif statistik pada kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 19 orang dan pada kelas kontrol dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 20 orang setelah dilakukan analisis data diperoleh dimana pada kelas eksperimen diperoleh rata-rata 80,00 dan standar deviasi 3,73. Sedangkan pada kelas kontrol diperoleh nilai tertinggi 75 dan nilai terendah 55 dengan nilai rata-rata 68,75 dan standar deviasi 5,82. Berdasarkan uji statistik yang telah dilakukan, kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang dilihat pada hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran discovery learning cukup baik dari pada hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan model biasa atau dalam hal ini adalah model konvensional. Oleh karena itu hasil penelitian ini menunjukan adanya pengaruh model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi suhu dan kalor.

Abstract

Abstrak Pengadian ini dilaksanakan atas dasar kebutuhan masyarakat di Dompu terhadap kecukupan air untuk irigasi pertanian pada musim kemarau ataupun musim hujan. Permasalahan yang terjadi adalah disaat musim hujan, banjir melanda masyarakat setempat karena penebangan hutan yang berlebihan dan mengakibatkan kerugian petani. Sedangkan, di saat musim kemarau masyarakat kekurangan air untuk pertaniannya. Oleh karena itu pengabdi ini memberikan solusi dengan menerapkan teknologi irigasi tetes bagi petani berbasis energi terbarukan. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan melalui beberapa tahapan seperti melakukan survey lokasi, diskusi dengan petani, mendesain kegiatan, instalasi produk teknologi irigasi tetes, dan evaluasi terhadap kegiatan. Dari kegiatan ini, instalasi panel surya sebagai energi terbaru yang dikembangkan mampu membantu masyarakat setempat. Berdasarkan evaluasi pengabdi, pengabdian ini perlu dikembangkan dengan mengadakan panel surya yang lebih banyak sehingga cakupan area pertanian yang bisa dijangkau semakin luas. Kesimpulan dari pengabdian ini adalah instalasi energi terbarukan menggunakan panel surya dapat membantu sistem irigasi pertanian masyarakat baik secara teknis ataupun ekonomis. Kata kunci: irigasi; pertanian; energi terbarukan. Abstract This trial is carried out based on the needs of the people in Dompu for sufficient water for agricultural irrigation in the dry season or rainy season. The problem that occurs is during the rainy season, floods hit the local community due to excessive logging and causing losses to farmers. Meanwhile, during the dry season, the community lacks water for agriculture. Therefore, the devotees provide solutions by applying irrigation technology for farmers based on renewable energy. This service is carried out through several stages such as conducting site surveys, discussions with farmers, designing activities, product installations, and evaluating activities. From this activity, the installation of solar panels as the latest developed energy can help the local community. Based on the evaluation of the service, this service needs to be developed by providing more solar panels so that the coverage of the agricultural area that can be reached is wider. This service concludes that the installation of renewable energy using solar panels can help the community's agricultural irrigation system both technically and economically. Keywords: irrigation; agriculture; renewable energy.

Abstract

This research aims to test the feasibility of an interactive e-module based on local wisdom using an Android application to increase students' HOTS in circular motion material according to teachers and lecturers and analyze the increase in students' HOTS abilities after using an interactive e-module based on local wisdom using an Android application. This research is development research by applying the 4-D model. The development procedure consists of 4 stages, namely; define, design, develop, and disseminate. This research was carried out at MAN 1 Mataram, MAN 1 Central Lombok, MAN 1 West Lombok and MAN 1 East Lombok. This research instrument consists of a HOTS capability assessment instrument, an interactive E-module feasibility assessment instrument based on local wisdom, and an Android application media feasibility instrument. The results of this research are that this learning tool is suitable for use in physics learning to increase students' HOTS in the good and very good categories as tested by lecturers and physics teachers; This learning tool is able to increase students' HOTS within one group (pretest-posttest) and between groups (experiment-control). Data obtained from mixed ANOVA analysis in the experimental class showed that the increase in HOTS ability was more significant than the increase in HOTS in the control group; and there are differences in the HOTS abilities of students who use local wisdom-based e-module learning devices assisted by Android applications and students who use teacher teaching materials.
