Abstract

Transformational leadership and the emergence of the U theory and the Fourth Industrial Revolution 4IR is an interesting topic to be discussed in the field of education. This paper is intended to discuss the above topic in the context of Christian education, specifically in Christian schools. The directors and heads in Christian schools are called to develop their students' competency. This in turn, leads to innovations that create new breakthroughs in the field of education that is constantly changing throughout time. Utilizing the U theory to trace the roots of the problem allows the heads of Christian schools to have an open mind, an open heart, and an open will which in turn prepares them to develop their Christian schools continually.BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACTKepemimpinan transformasional dan kehadiran Teori U serta konteks Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) merupakan rangkaian menarik untuk dikaji dan dibahas dalam konteks dunia pendidikan. Pembahasan yang dilakukan dalam tulisan ini memiliki tujuan untuk melihat rangkaian di atas dalam konteks pendidikan Kristen terutama sekolah Kristen. Para pemimpin dari sekolah Kristen memiliki panggilan untuk melakukan transformasi di dalam organisasinya dan mengembangkan kompetensi dari para pendidik sehingga menumbuhkan inovasi nyata yang menghasilkan terobosan-terobosan baru dan karya dalam dunia pendidikan dalam konteks zaman yang terus berubah. Upaya transformasi dari sekolah Kristen dengan merunut akar permasalahan dengan menggunakan Teori U memampukan pemimpin untuk membuka pikiran (open mind), membuka hati (open heart) dan membuka keinginan (open will) sehingga memiliki kesiapan untuk terus memajukan sekolah Kristen yang dipimpinnya dan selaras dengan visi dan misi dari sekolah Kristen itu sendiri.

Abstract

Faithfulness is often a virtue that sustains a mission of service. This study aimed to tell the experience one of the important actors (participants), a pastor. What are the dimensions that can build a faithful construction, especially in church services based on the experiences of participants. In a religious context, faithfulness has a different dimension, namely a transcendental dimension that does not stand alone, but is also influenced by a horizontal perspective which can be explained by the theory of stewardship. When stewardship is understood horizontally, the highest measurement of a relationship tends to be welfare and harmony. It gets reinforced by the vertical dimension where God becomes the authority of truth and becomes the reason to keep serving, especially serving faithfully. This study tries to frame the story about the phenomenon of faithfulness dimension in church ministry with a narrative approach. This study seeks to show how life of a pastor who uses faithfulness as the main pillar of his ministry.

Abstract

There have been many social foundations in Indonesia in the past few years. The Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation Indonesia has four humanitarian missions and requires volunteers to give their time, thoughts, and energy to help them achieve their goals. This research was conducted on 62 volunteers in Jakarta, Cikarang, and Bekasi. By using purposive sampling technique and processing using Smart PLS 3.0 to test the hypothesis. The questionnaire results show a positive relationship between transformational leadership, job satisfaction, and organizational citizenship behavior human capital.

Abstract

Sekolah Kristen memiliki keunikan di dalam memasarkan sekolahnya kepada publik. Keunikan pemasaran sekolah Kristen terletak di dalam model pemasaran yang terintegrasi dengan visi dan misi sekolah. Pandemi covid 19 menjadi salah satu pemicu sekolah Kristen untuk bergiat di dalam pemasaran secara khusus pemasaran secara digital (digital marketing). Sekolah Kristen melakukan digital marketing dengan berbagai macam cara kreatif yang dilakukan oleh sekolah, guru, murid dan orangtua. Upaya marketing yang dilakukan oleh seluruh stake holder ini memiliki berbagai macam bentuk dan kecenderungan pesan yang berbeda satu dengan yang lain. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk memberikan arahan terhadap model pemasaran digital sekolah Kristen yang menyatu dengan visi dan misi sekolah Kristen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan melakukan kajian literatur untuk memberikan usulan terhadap model pemasaran digital yang selaras dengan visi dan misi sekolah Kristen

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim to determine the effect of Teamwork and Career Development on Self-Development and Employee Work Involvement of PT ABC employees. This research is a quantitative research with descriptive method. Sampling used a non-probability sampling technique, namely purposive sampling, where the respondents used were 135 permanent employees of PT ABC who worked in the Jakarta and Tangerang areas who had worked for more than 1 year. The data collection technique used a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire with a Likert scale of 1–5. The analysis technique is Structural Equation Model (SEM) using SmartPLS 3 software. Based on the results of the data analysis conducted, it can be concluded that teamwork has a positive and significant effect on employee self-development (H1), career development has a positive impact on employee self-development (H2), teamwork has a negative effect on employee job involvement (H3), career development has a positive effect on employee job involvement (H4), self-development has a positive effect on employee job involvement (H5), self-development is able to mediate the effect of teamwork on employee job involvement (H6), and self-development is able to mediate the effect of career development on employee job involvement (H7).Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak: Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kerjasama tim dan pengembangan karier terhadap pengembangan diri dan keterlibatan kerja karyawan Perusahaan ABC. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling yaitu dengan purposive sampling, di mana responden yang digunakan merupakan 135 karyawan tetap PT ABC yang berlokasi kerja di wilayah Jakarta dan Tangerang dengan masa kerja lebih dari satu tahun. Teknik  pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner dengan skala Likert 1–5. Teknik analisis yaitu Structural Equation Model (SEM) dengan menggunakan software SmartPLS 3. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kerjasama tim berpengaruh positif terhadap pengembangan diri karyawan (H1), pengembangan karier berpengaruh positif terhadap pengembangan diri karyawan (H2), kerja sama tim berpengaruh negatif terhadap keterlibatan kerja karyawan (H3), pengembangan karier berpengaruh positif keterlibatan kerja karyawan (H4), pengembangan diri berpengaruh positif terhadap keterlibatan kerja karyawan (H5), pengembangan diri mampu memediasi pengaruh kerja sama tim karier terhadap keterlibatan kerja karyawan (H6), dan pengembangan diri mampu memediasi pengaruh pengembangan karier terhadap keterlibatan kerja karyawan (H7).
