Abstract

Wabah pandemi akibat Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) melanda Indonesia sejak awal tahun 2020. Hampir 2/3 kasus covid-19 wilayah Provinsi Jambi berpusat di Kota Jambi. Hal tersebut mendorong Pemerintah Kota Jambi menetapkan Peraturan Walikota (Perwali) tentang pedoman penanganan covid-19. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana efektivitas penerapan kebijakan Perwali Jambi nomor 21 tahun 2020 tentang pedoman penanganan Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) dengan tetap mempertimbangkan relaksasi ekonomi dan sosial kemasyarakatan di area publik atau lingkungan usaha dan masyarakat. Studi dilakukan dengan pendekatan mix method kuantitatif dan kualitatif, menggunakan rancangan explanatory. Studi dilakukan di Kota Jambi melibatkan 100 responden yang dipilih secara accidental sampling, data dianalisis melalui uji chi-square, dilanjukan content analysis hasil wawancara mendalam pada 10  informan. Hasil studi bahwa terdapat hubungan pengetahuan dan sikap masyarakat dengan efektifitas penerapan kebijakan. Aspek ketepatan kebijakan dan pelaksana dinilai telah sesuai, namun ada indikator aspek target, lingkungan, dan proses yang memerlukan evaluasi. Pemerintah perlu memberikan penguatan pelaksanaan teknis peraturan dan sosialisasi yang lebih luas pada masyarakat agar tidak terjadi tumpang tindih peraturan yang menyebabkan kebingungan pada masyarakat serta meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran sehingga masyarakat menunjukkan sikap yang mendukung serta siap menerapkan peraturan dalam rangka relaksasi ekonomi dan sosial.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the role of social media and small and medium micro enterprises performance in Jambi City, as well as the influence of the role of social media on business performance. The research data were obtained through a survey method using a questionnaire given to 60 respondents. The data is analyzed using simple linear regression analysis techniques. The analysis shows that the role of social media, which is reflected by the dimensions of curation, consumption, creation, and collaboration as a whole get an average score acquisition in the range of 3.41-4.20 with "good" criteria. The performance of small and medium micro enterprises which is reflected by the growth in the number of sales, growth in market share, and profit growth get an average score in the range of 3.41-4.20 with "high" criteria. Based on the results of hypothesis testing has also proven that the role of social media has a positive and significant effect on the performance of small and medium micro enterprises in Jambi City.

Abstract

The roles of small enterprises in supporting economic growth, either covering locally or nationally, may not be taken for granted. It is proven by the fact that when Indonesia was stricken by an economic crisis the small enterprises relatively stable. In reality, however, they have been facing many problems, one of which is the source of found/capital. In addition, they also lack basic skills in financial and business management. Generally, most of them are secondary school graduates. In Jambi, the number of small and medium enterprises reaches 2730 with 35.950 employees employed. Such a number is already potentially sufficient to improve the economic growth of the region. Thus, a study regarding the existence of small enterprises in Jambi should be conducted. The study itself should mainly be focused on the problems found in running such kind of enterprises. A study was conducted in December 2015 to February 2016 in Jambi city, taking the cases from the Jelutong subdistrict. The objects of the study were small enterprises including grocery stores. Snacks shops, and furniture depots. The variables studied included the successes of small enterprises (enterprise volume), household income rates, entrepreneurial experiences, educational levels, domestic expenditures, and access to the bank. Based on the result of the study, it is acknowledged that capitals and educational levels strongly determine the success of small enterprises. Therefore, to boots, their involvement in Jambi city, especially at the Jelutung subdistrict, support from related institutions are essentially needed. Such support may include improving the small entrepreneurs’ knowledge and skills in business and financial management. Besides, the source of found/capital should also be taken into account.

Abstract

The purpose of this community engagement activity is to provide additional knowledge and skills for business practitioners in the form of Digital Marketing Training, with the aim of boosting product sales for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Pamucak Village, Cermin Nan Gedang District, Sarolangun Regency. The implementation method of this engagement activity comprises several stages. First; the preparation and Field Survey Phase, The activity commences with the preparation and field survey phase. During this stage, the team engages in direct discussions with the village authorities and community leaders of Pamuncak Village to identify the needs, opportunities, and challenges faced by MSME business practitioners in the village. Second; the socialization and Training Phase, The team proceeds with the socialization and training phase. The training content is centered around digital marketing strategies. Through this socialization and training, participants are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to understand and implement digital marketing strategies. The results of this engagement indicate that participants' knowledge prior to the engagement, for the most part, fell within the category of having a limited understanding of digital marketing. However, following the implementation of the engagement in the form of digital marketing training, a significant improvement has been observed in participants' understanding and knowledge of digital marketing skills. As a result, MSME practitioners can optimize digital marketing as a means to enhance their product sales. Furthermore, it is hoped that MSME practitioners can better confront the challenges of digitalization and utilize online-based marketing opportunities more effectively.
