Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis: (1) Karakteristik nelayan pada alat tangkap payang di Selat Madura, (2) Faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap pendapatan melaut pada ekonomi rumah tangga nelayan, (3) Faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap nilai pengeluaran pada ekonomi rumah tangga nelayan, (4) Peluang kemiskinan akibat faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kemiskinan nelayan. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini, yaitu nelayan dengan alat tangkap payang di Selat Madura menggunakan simple random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Karakteristik nelayan berdasarkan umur sekitar 39,39% pada umur 41-50 tahun, sedangkan tingkat pendidikan nelayan didominasi pada tingkat sekolah dasar (SD) dengan prosentase 63,64%. Berdasarkan pengalaman melaut, sekitar 39,4% pada kisaran 21-30 tahun sedangkan untuk jumlah anggota keluarga nelayan didominasi tidak lebih dari tiga orang dengan prosentase 54,55%. Sedangkan status istri nelayan yang bekerja sekitar 45,45%, (2) Faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap pendapatan melaut adalah pendidikan nelayan, pengalaman melaut, dan daya mesin, (3) Sedangkan faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap pengeluaran rumah tangga nelayan adalah jumlah anggota keluarga, (4) Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi peluang kemiskinan nelayan adalah umur nelayan, pendidikan, dan pengalaman melaut. Bertambahnya umur nelayan akan meningkatkan peluang kemiskinan, namun meningkatnya faktor pendidikan nelayan dan pengalaman melaut akan menurunkan peluang kemiskinan dalam rumah tangga nelayan. Kata kunci: kemiskinan, nelayan payang, pendapatan melaut, pengeluaran rumah tangga, selat Madura.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pengembangan potensi wisata mangrove di wilayah pesisir Lembar Lombok Barat sangat produktif. Hal ini disebabkan karena kawasan tersebut memiliki beberapa potensi yang dapat dimanfaatkan keunggulannya sebagai sebuah kawasan ekowisata sebagai alternatif pengelolaan yang mengedepankan aspek keberlanjutan kelestarian lingkungan dan ekonomi masyarakat lokal.  Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dampak pengembangan ekowisata mangrove terhadap kondisi ekonomi masyarakat pesisir desa Lembar Lombok Barat. Metode penelitian dilakukan melalui pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan teknik penentuan informan berdasarkan teknik purposve sampling, sedangkan analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kuantitatif menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan ekosistem mangrove untuk pengembangan ekowisata di kawasan Desa Lembar tidak menunjukkan dampak yang signifikan terhadap kondisi ekonomi masyarakat. Hal ini disebabkan karena pengelolaan yang dilakukan selama ini belum optimal dan bersifat temporal serta belum didukung sepenuhnya oleh perangkat pemerintah desa setempat. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kualitatif menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat pesisir di desa Lembar Lombok Barat sebagian besar di kategorikan memiliki kondisi ekonomi dan tingkat kesejahteraan yang sedang.  Dengan demikian, pengembangan kawasan tersebut tidak memberikan dampak terhadap perubahan ekonomi dan tingkat kesejahteraan masyarakat lokal.Abstract:  The development of mangrove tourism potential in the coastal area of Lembar, West Lombok is very productive. This is because the area has several potentials that can be exploited for its advantages as an ecotourism area as alternative management that prioritizes environmental and economic sustainability aspects of local communities. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine the impact of the development of mangrove ecotourism on the economic condition of the coastal community of Lembar Village, West Lombok. The research method is carried out through qualitative and quantitative research approaches with the technique of determining informants based on the purposive sampling technique. Based on the results of quantitative analysis, it shows that the management of the mangrove ecosystem for ecotourism development in the Lembar Village area does not show a significant impact on the economic condition of the community. Based on the results of qualitative analysis, it is shown that the coastal communities in the village of Lembar, West Lombok, are mostly categorized as having moderate economic conditions and welfare levels. Thus, the development of the area does not have an impact on economic changes and the level of welfare of the local community.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the level of sustainability management of fish auction place (TPI) Pondok Dadap. Methods of data analysis using the techniques of Multidimensional Scalling (MDS) through a RAPFISH approach. The results showed that the average index value of sustainability management of fish auction place (TPI) "Pondoddadap" of 61, its meaning is quite sustainable. Sustainability index value of each dimension, i.e. the ecological dimension of 62.41%, economic dimension of 66.51%, social dimension of 23.68%, institutional dimension of 76.13%, and infrastructure dimension of 76.27%. The recommended factors to improve the status of sustainability are the availability of places of waste disposal activities TPI or waste treatment installations, an increasing number of fish traders in TPI, keeping the potential conflicts between fishermen and traders so that does not happen, the availability of human resources that support the auction, keeping the role of KUD in the auction, as well as the availability of garbage disposal.

Abstract

This research is conducted to provide strategies to strengthen the local market shrimp commodity. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive and obtain the data by Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and structured interviews. The results show that the need for export, shrimp is generally obtained from cultivation in ponds. Shrimp dominates more than 40% of fishery products for export and earn foreign exchange. During the COVID-19 pandemic, it is necessary to strengthen marketing in the local market to minimize the impact of barriers to export shrimp abroad. Several things can be done to strengthen the local market, among others, conduct a shrimp consumption campaign, increase value-added of processed shrimp product, implement shrimp farming method using small-scale round ponds for the community for marketing efficiency. This is done to ensure shrimp supply in the market in accordance with the market demand. Finally, these strategies can create an integrated local market system for shrimp commodities, so that it can provide not only the international market but also the local market.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik ekonomi rumah tangga nelayan payang jurung dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pendapatan melaut dan pengeluaran rumah tangga untuk peningkatan kesejahteraan nelayan Selat Madura ,khususnya di Lekok. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisa deksrpitif kualitatif dan deksriptif kuantitatif menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian adalah faktor yang berpengaruh nyata terhadap pendapatan melaut adalah nilai aset kapal , daya mesin kapal , dan pengalaman melaut. Sedangkan faktor yang berpengaruh nyata terhadap pengeluaran rumah tangga nelayan adalah pendapatan melaut, pendapatan non melaut, jumlah keluarga, pendidikan. Ada dua faktor yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan nelayan, yaitu faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Faktor internal yaitu menambah jumlah aset kapal dan daya mesin kapal agar nelayan mampu ekspansi tempat penangkapan dari perairan selat Madura. Faktor eksternal yaitu pengembangan alternatif mata pencaharian (AMP) nelayan payang jurung di Selat Madura. Abstract

The aim of this community service was to introduce a new technology of Milk Blue Crab to improve its economic value. The activity was conducted by extension and demonstrating to the small medium enterprises in Pasuruan City. The success of activities was evaluated by qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results showed that the community was interested to try and implement this new technology (smoking cash fish, meat mincer, and grinder machine). However, there were some problems for the small medium enterprises to apply this method, such as inadequate equipment. Therefore, such technology was only conducted by home industry that still cannot extend its market share. Consequently, selling activities  cannot operates well. The suggestion from this activity was important to make business partnership between government, entrepreneur and other institutions that has a relation to this activity to increase more society incomes.Keywords: blue crab, bubu net, steamer, sortage table

Abstract

One of the potential product is Clupeiodes lile. Clupeiodes lile is an export commodity in Singapore, Malaysia, and Japan. Now, Demands for Clupeiodes lile has been increased by the buyer. From this, a needed improvement on technical development, fast and precise handling for stabilizing the quality of Clupeiodes lile . This project is planning on two home industries, Home industry (UD) Surya Abadi (SA) and Home Industry (UD) HCR  at Jatirejo and Pasinan Village. This project was done with the spacious survey, interview, and observation. The problems on two home industries are sanitation and hygiene was not appropriating with export standard and conventional manufacturing. Now, this project gives an efficient technology such as TTG Mechanically Dryer Green House Model. From this technology, expectable that home industries can produce the best Clupeiodes lile from long durability, best sanitizer and hygiene, and can increase the home industries' profit.

Abstract

Pasuruan is a fisheries potential district. One of the potential product is blue crab. Blue crab is an export commodity in United States and Japan. Now, Demands of blue crab has been increased from buyer. From this, needed improvement on technical development, fast and precise handling for stabilizing quality of blue crab. This project is planning on two home industries, Home industry (UD) Surya Abadi and Home Industry (UD) Sari Laut at Kisik and Pasinan Village. This project was doing with spacious survey, interview, and observation. The problems on two home industries is sanitation and hygiene was not appropriating with export standars and conventional manufacturing. At Now, this project give an effectiveness technology such as crab cold box, ice cruiser, shelters meat blue crab and trolleys. From this technology, expectable that home industries can produce the best blue crab from long durability, best sanitier and hygiene, increasing markets area in United States, Japan to new markets such as Korea, China, Taiwan, and can increase the home industries’s  profit. Furthermore, home industries can manufacturing blue crab with hygienic, sanitary, and live with export standart where have a correlation with effectiveness technology. Furthermore, home industries must to make the good accounting for knowing the profit and profitability of manufactures. Not only that, government can build and increase export market to all countries where have commertial relations with Indonesia.

Abstract

However, there were some problems for the small scale industry to apply this method, such as inadequate equipment. Therefore, such technology was only conducted by home industry that still cannot extend its market share, is the only industry who implemented such technology. As the result, selling activities was cannot operates well.
