Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine and analyze the influence of the Work Environment, Compensation, and Work Motivation on the performance of the employees of PT Braling Wisnu Satriya Purbalingga. The hypotheses of this research are 1) Work environment has a significant effect on employee performance at PT Braling Wisnu Satriya Purbalingga, 2) Compensation has a significant effect on employee performance at PT Braling Wisnu Satriya Purbalingga, 3) Work motivation has a significant effect on employee performance at PT Braling Wisnu Satriya Purbalingga. To test the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable, multiple linear regression analysis was used, and based on the results of the analysis, the t₁ value was 2.653, t₂ was 4.682, t was 2.627 and each t was greater than t table (1.672), which means that Ho rejected or Ha accepted, so based on the t test, the first, second, and third hypotheses are accepted.  Keywords: Work Environment, Compensation, Work Motivation, Employee Performance

Abstract

The 360 degree feedback method is one of the performance appraisal methods which implementation takes an assessment of the parties around the employee being assessed. The 360 degree feedback method performance appraisal system conducted at PT. Pertamina RU IV (Persero) Cilacap aims to determine the implementation of the performance appraisal system using the 360 degree feedback method, determine employee performance with what variables are used in performance appraisal, and obtain performance optimization. The research method used in this research uses qualitative methods with a quantitative approach. The 360 degree feedback method is used to find data from respondents, namely from superiors, colleagues, themselves and subordinates. Based on the research that had been done, it had succeeded in determining the best workers from each discipline and position based on the calculation of variables and indicators used. The 360 degree feedback performance assessment can help the company appropriately to provide rewards for workers with the highest percentage and provide punishment for workers with lowest percentage. The calculation of these variables and indicators helps the company to find the right solution in an effort to optimize the performance of its employees.Keywords: performance, performance appraisal, 360 degree feedback method

Abstract

This research aims to analyze bankruptcy condition in the PT. Bank J Trust Indonesia Tbk. The method of Altman Z-Score modification is used to know bankruptcy rate PT. Bank J Trust Indonesia Tbk on 2017-2019 period. The date used in this research is the bank’s annual financial report, after the company has published on the website of Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this research are all companies which listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, during the 2017-2019 period, while sample used is PT. Bank J Trust Indonesia Tbk financial report for the period 2017-2019 with purposive sampling method. The research result show that PT. Bank J Trust Indonesia Tbk during 3 year research period is in the “Distress zone” category, because has Z-Score under 1,10 (Z<1,10). With the respective Z-Score result in 2017, PT. Bank J Trust Indonesia Tbk was Z-Score -1,45, then Z-Score in 2018 was -1,83 and in 2019 was -1,4

Abstract

Scientific literacy consists of four dimensions (aspects) namely knowledge or science content, scientific context, competence (scientific process) and attitudes. This study aims to determine the ability of chemical literacy in the aspects of knowledge, context, competence and attitudes in vocational high school students. The research method used is quantitative description method. The sample used was 50 students of class X SMK N 1 Kutasari. The data collection technique in this study was in the form of a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Based on the results obtained from the research that has been done, it is 71.5%. This shows that the students' chemical literacy skills on material and its changes are still in the medium category. With each aspect obtained a percentage of: 72% Knowledge, 69% Context, 70% Competence, 75% Attitude.Keywords: Chemical Literacy; Substance and Change; Aspects

Abstract

Semiotic is study of sign. The signs deliver communicative message through verbal (gestures and utterance) or non-verbal information (body language) that leads viewers comprehend the message well. Based on the type, sign divided into three, they are icon, index and symbol. This research analyzes three types of sign, icon, index, symbol on cigarette advertisement. The data of this research are cigarette advertisements which consist of 2 different cigarette brands from two biggest cigarette companies in Indonesia Djarum and Gudang Garam. Those data are then classified into sign (icon, symbol and index). This research applied descriptive qualitative method. To classify the type of sign, the researcher used Pierce theory (Coleman, 2017). Based on the analysis on cigarettes advertisement, each advertisement contains own icon, index, symbol meaning. The icons in the cigarettes advertisement consisted of pictures of human, things and cigarettes product’s logos. While the indexes found in television cigarettes advertisement were mostly the pictures of the human attitude, things, and slogan or the cigarettes brands. From the icon, index, symbol, it can be seen the male characters as their theme. The men's characters used as the theme of cigarettes advertisement are brave, tough, masculine, fond of challenges and strong.

Abstract

Penelitiansini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penempatan kerja dan pengalaman kerja terhadap motivasi kerja pegawai di BLUD RSUD Cilacap. penelitiansini merupakan penelitian kuantitatifs dengan pembagian kuesioner. Sumber data menggunakan data primer dengan analisis data yaitu uji validitas, reliabilitas,iasumsi klasik, ianalisis regresi linier beganda secara parsial dan simultan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1) Penempatan kerja berpengaruh terhadap motivasi kerja pegawai di BLUD RSUD Cilacap, yang dibuktikan dengan hasil nilai t hitung sebesar 5,291 dan t tabel sebesar 1,662 atau sig ? = 0,000 berada dibawah 0,05. 2) Pengalaman kerja berpengaruh terhadap motivasi kerja pegawai di BLUD RSUD Cilacap, yang dibuktikan dengan hasil nilai t hitung sebesar 4,674 dan t tabel sebesar 1,662 atau sig ? = 0,000 berada dibawah 0,05. 3) Penempatan kerja dan pengalaman kerja berpengaruh terhadap motivasi kerja pegawai di BLUD RSUD Cilacap, yang dibuktikan dengan hasil pengujian koefisien determinasi R2 sebesar 0,359 = 35,9%, engan demikian variabel penempatanikerja dan pengalaman kerja secara bersama-sama mempengaruhi motivasi kerja pegawai sebesar 35,9% dan untuk sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak dibahas di penelitian ini.

Abstract

The research entitled “Caracter Education from Cassandra’s Schizophrenia Depicted in Torey Hayden’s Twilight Children” is aimed to analyze the symptoms of schizophrenia which appear in a character named Cassandra. Descriptive qualitative method is used to analyze the data. The data source of this study was the novel which is analyzed by using psychoanalysis. There are steps done in analyzing the novel. The first is determining the novel which is going to be analyzed that is the novel Twilight Children and the second is obtaining the elements of the novels, such the narrations, utterances, attitudes and the characterization of Cassandra. The result, schizophrenia is known as incurable illness. All those data show Cassandra’s ways in overcoming her schizophrenia. The ways can be categorized into three points. Those three things are according to the two treatments for schizophrenia, family education and relationship, and individual psychotherapy.

Abstract

Waste management in Karang Bawang Village is only transported by garbage officers, garbage transportation is carried out once a week or twice still using the transportation system, then disposed of to the landfill. The problem found in Karang Bawang Village is that there is organic waste that is disposed of carelessly and not managed specifically so that the waste causes environmental problems such as unpleasant odors, damaging the scenery, as a hotbed of disease and others. One way of processing waste is by processing the waste into liquid organic fertilizer. Liquid organic fertilizer (POC) is a solution resulting from the decay of organic materials derived from crop residues, household waste, animal urine, animal and human waste. In this community service activity, a training method for making liquid organic fertilizer was carried out with PKK women in Karang Bawang Village. The results of this community service can increase knowledge for PKK mothers to be able to utilize the remains of household waste to make liquid organic fertilizer which can be used to fertilize plants. And as an effort to utilize abundant household waste and reduce household waste in the community.
