Abstract

Diabetes is a condition that the pancreas does not produce enough insulin or the body can’ effectively using insulin and its impact on disease complications. Physical exercise is one aspect of the management of diabetes that affects reducing the blood glucose rate. The objective of this research was to find the influence of the diabetes exercise on blood sugar rate at the Public Health Centers Mertoyudan II. This study was a quasiexperimental applying the non-equivalent control group. Respondents were 37 for the intervention group and 37 to the control group. The diabetes exercise performed six times within two weeks. The result found that the paired t-test result with a significance level (α) 95 % was p-value = 0,001. There were significant differences in the decreasing average of the blood sugar rate between the intervention and the control group. Further research is needed by increasing the intervention to become three times per week for 4 weeks’ intervention.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Participation of the husband has a very large effect to encourage the breast feeding woman, because either the presence or absence of the husband 's participation was crucial in the wife's mental condition. If the husband does not give participation, usually caused by ignorance. The method of this study is cross- sectional with total sampling. Analysis of the data using univariate and bivariate (fisher 's exact test). The results showed that most of husband participation psychologically was in medium category (74,20 %),  the financial of husband’s participation was in the medium category (58,07 %), and the instrumental of husband's participation was in the medium category (54,84 % ). Most respondents did not breastfeed exclusively is 80,65 %. There was a relationship between participation husband with breastfeeding with p < α (0,009 < 0,05 ). The results of this study recommends that breast feed mothers often follow counseling conducted health workers. Husbands are expected to know and understand more about breastfeeding problems. Pregnant women should be able to ask and resolve difficulties in breastfeeding so that the mother can give breast milk to their babies after birth. Abstract

Schizophrenia is a medical diagnosis that has mental problems in individuals with abnormal social behavior. Schizophrenia has negative symptoms, one of which is low self-esteem. Low self-esteem is a negative view that is owned by himself so that his self-confidence and self-esteem are lost. The aim of the research is to describe the application of Indonesian nursing intervention standards with the promotion of self-esteem, namely motivation to accept challenges or new things. Motivation to accept challenges/new things aims to restore self-confidence and explore one's abilities. This research uses a descriptive method in the form of a case study. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in low self-esteem in patients.

Abstract

Terdapat 966 kasus penghinaan citra tubuh (body shaming) yang ditangani oleh polisi dari seluruh Indonesia sepanjang tahun 2018, 347 kasus selesai, baik melalui penegakan hukum maupun mediasi. Salah satu efek yang ditimbulkan dari tindakan body shaming ini adalah turunya kepercayan diri yang dimiliki oleh remaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara body shaming dengan kepercayaan diri pada remaja di SMAN 1 Pacitan Kabupaten Pacitan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Januari-April 2022 menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif metode korelasi dengan menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. hasil karakteristik yang banyak menerima perilaku body shaming adalah jenis kelamin perempuan. Hasil uji kendall tau didapatkan nilai τ =0,003 (τ<0,05). Nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar -0,351 artinya hubungan keeratan rendah dan arah korelasinya negatif yaitu semakin tinggi body shaming maka kepercayaan diri korban semakin rendah. Ada hubungan antara body shaming dengan kepercayaan diri pada remaja di SMAN 1 Pacitan Kabupaten Pacitan.
