<![CDATA[Keselamatan pasien di rumah sakit merupakan isu global yang sangat penting. Salah satu cara untuk mencegah cidera pada pasien adalah melakukan prosedur tindakan invasif seperti pemasangan infus sesuai dengan Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui gambaran motivasi kerja dan kedisiplinan dalam pemasangan infus yang sesuai dengan SOP serta pengaruh motivasi terhadap kedisiplinan tindakan pemasangan infus yang sesuai dengan SOP pada perawat pelaksana di Ruang Rawat Inap Rumah Sakit X di Kota Bandung. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif verifikatif menggunakan metode penelitian cross sectional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah perawat pelaksana di Ruang Rawat Inap Rumah Sakit X yang berjumlah 108 orang, sedangkan jumlah sampel yang diteliti adalah 103 orang, dengan teknik propotional stratified random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada bulan April–Juli tahun 2014 dengan cara pengisian kuesioner tervalidasi, wawancara, serta observasi terhadap responden penelitian yang melibatkan kepala ruangan dan clinical instructure. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dengan tabulasi data untuk menjawab identifikasi masalah deskriptif dan analisis regresi untuk menguji hipotesis. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan motivasi kerja perawat pelaksana berada dalam kategori baik dan kedisiplinan pemasangan infus yang sesuai dengan SOP dalam kategori sangat baik. Berdasar atas hasil pengujian regresi linear didapatkan bahwa variabel motivasi kerja memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kedisiplinan perawat pelaksana dalam melakukan tindakan pemasangan infus yang sesuai dengan SOP. Pengaruh yang dihasilkan motivasi kerja dapat meningkatkan kedisiplinan pemasangan infus sesuai dengan SOP. INPATIENT WARDS NURSES WORK MOTIVATION AND THE DISCIPLINE OF INTRAVENOUS FLUID INSTALLATION BASED ON THE STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE Patient safety in hospitals is a significant global issue. One of the ways to prevent injury to patients is to perform an invasive procedure such as infusion following the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). The purpose of the research was to describe the work motivation and discipline infusion following Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and the influence of motivation towards discipline in infusion following SOP on nurse’s inpatient wards X Hospital Bandung. The type of research was descriptive verification using a cross-sectional study. The population in this study were nurses inpatient wards X Hospital Bandung, amounting to 108 people, while the number of samples were 103 people, with a proportional stratified random sampling technique. Data collection was carried out from April to July 2014 by filling out validated questionnaires, interviews, and observations of research respondents involving the head of the room and clinical instructure. The analytical method used descriptive analysis by tabulating the data to answer the identification of problems of descriptive and regression analysis to test the hypothesis. From the results, the motivation of nurses was in a good category and discipline infusion following SOP in the excellent category. Based on the results of the linear regression test showed that the variables of work motivation had a positive influence on the discipline nurses in action infusion following the SOP. The effect of work motivation can increase the discipline of infusion, according to SOP.]]>
