Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between leadership roles and work environment with Organizational Citizenship Behavior at SMK Negeri 1 Air Putih, Batubara Regency. The hypothesis proposed is that there is a positive and significant relationship between the role of leadership and the work environment with Organizational Citizenship Behavior at SMK Negeri 1 Air Putih, Batubara Regency. The population in this study amounted to 35 people. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The data collection method is the scale of leadership roles, work environment and OCB. Data analysis using multiple regression analysis model. The results of this study are: 1. There is a positive and significant relationship between leadership roles and OCB. This is indicated by the coefficient value of 0.888 with the value of sig. 0.000 < 0.05 and it is stated that Ha is accepted with a very strong relationship. 2. There is a positive and significant relationship between the work environment and OCB. This is indicated by the coefficient value of 0.929 with the value of sig. 0.000 < 0.05 and it is stated that Ha is accepted with a very strong relationship. 3. There is a positive and significant relationship between leadership roles and work environment with OCB. This is indicated by the value of the correlation coefficient (R) = 0.952 with a value of sig. 0.000 < 0.05 and it is stated that Ha is accepted with a very strong relationship. The total effective contribution of leadership roles and work environment with OCB is 90.6% and is declared very strong

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of competence and compensation on the performance of PTPN III Rantauprapat harvesters. The hypothesis proposed is the influence of competence and compensation on the performance of PTPN III Rantauprapat harvesters. The number of samples in this study was 102 people. Sampling technique using Pusposive Sampling. The data collection method is a Likert scale of competence, compensation and employee performance. Data analysis used multiple regression linear analysis model. The results of this study are: 1. There is a significant influence between competence on employee performance. This is indicated by the t count variable Competence of 3.165 > t table 1.984 with a Sig value of 0.002 < 0.025. 2. There is a significant effect of compensation on the performance of Harvesters at PTPN III Rantauprapat with the t value for the Compensation variable which is 8.879 > t table 1.984 and the Sig value is 0.000 < 0.025. 3. There is a significant influence between competence and compensation on the performance of PTPN III Rantauprapat Harvesters. This is indicated by the calculated F value of 66,490 > F table 19,487 and the significance value of 0.000 with p value < 0.05. Based on the results of this study, the proposed hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the correlation between work motivation and career development on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) in employees of PT Anugrah Karya Prima Medan. The hypothesis proposed is that there is a positive and significant correlation between work motivation and career development on OCB in PT Anugrah Karya Prima Medan employees. The population in this research amounted to 62 people. Sampling technique is to use total sampling. Data collection methods are work motivation, career development, and OCB scales. Data analysis using multiple regression analysis model. The results of this research are: 1. There is a positive and significant correlation between work motivation and career development on OCB. This is indicated by the correlation coefficient (R) = 0.729 with p = 0.000 < 0.05. Based on the results of this research, the proposed hypothesis is accepted. 2. There is a positive and significant correlation between work motivation and OCB in employees of PT Anugrah Karya Prima Medan with the coefficient value obtained is 0.636 with a sig value. 0.000 < 0.05 and the proposed hypothesis is accepted with a strong correlation. 3. There is a positive and significant correlation between career development and OCB for employees of PT Anugrah Karya Prima Medan with the coefficient value obtained is 0.634 with a sig value. 0.000 < 0.05 and the proposed hypothesis is accepted with a strong correlation. The total effective contribution of the two independent variables (work motivation and career development) to OCB is 53.1%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation and work discipline on the performance of employees of the Processing Production Division of PTPN III Rantauprapat. The hypothesis proposed is the influence of work motivation and work discipline on the performance of the employees of the Processing Production Division of PTPN III Rantauprapat. The number of samples in this study was 119 people. Sampling technique using Total Sampling. The data collection method is a Likert scale of work motivation, work discipline, and employee performance. Data analysis used multiple regression linear analysis model. The results of this study are: There is a significant influence between work motivation on employee performance. This is indicated by the t-count value of Work Motivation of 7.832 > ttable 1.980 and the Sig value of 0.000 <0.025. There is a significant influence between Work Discipline on Employee Performance. This is indicated by the coefficient of the t value of Work Discipline which is 3,410 > ttable 1,980 and the Sig value of 0.001 < 0.025. There is a significant influence between Work Motivation and Work Discipline Employee Performance. This is indicated by the calculated F value of 66,112 > F table 19,487 and the significance value of 0.000 with p value <0.05

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the correlation between organizational commitment and organizational culture with Organizational Citizenship Behavior at the Santo Nicholas School Medan. The hypotheses propose that there is a positive and significant correlation between organizational commitment and organizational culture with Organizational Citizenship Behavior on educators and education staff at the Santo Nicholas School Medan. The population in this research are 40 people. The sampling technique is total sampling. Data analysis is using multiple regression analysis. Research results are: 1. There is a significant correlation between organizational commitment and Organizational Citizenship Behavior. This is indicated by the coefficient value of 0.554 with the value of sig. 0.000 < 0.05 and Ha statement is accepted with correlation is enough. 2. There is a significant correlation between organizational culture and Organizational Citizenship Behavior. This is indicated by the coefficient value of 0.535 with the value of sig. 0.000 < 0.05 and Ha statement is accepted with correlation is enough. 3. There is a significant correlation between organizational commitment and organizational culture with Organizational Citizenship Behavior. This is indicated by the value of coefficient R = 0.628 with a value of sig. 0.000 < 0.05 and the Ha statement is accepted with correlation is strong. The total effective contribution of organizational commitment and organizational culture with Organizational Citizenship Behavior is 36.7% and it stated to be low.

Abstract

This study aims to examine: The Relationship between Transformational Leadership Style and Employee Engagement with Organizational Citizenship Behavior in North Sumatra Police Mobile Brigade Unit Personnel. This research is a quantitative study with data collection using a psychological scale in the form of a questionnaire which is then analyzed using multiple regression analysis techniques. Research results a). There is a positive relationship between Transformational Leadership Style and Organizational Citizenship Behavior in North Sumatra Police Mobile Brigade personnel with a correlation coefficient of rx1y = 0.303 and an effective contribution weight of 9.2%. b). There is a positive relationship between Employee Engagement and Organizational Citizenship Behavior, with a correlation coefficient of rx2y = 0.366; with an effective contribution weight of 13.4%. c) There is a positive relationship between Transformational Leadership Style and Employee Engagement with Organizational Citizenship Behavior, with a correlation coefficient of rx1x2y = 0.468, it is concluded that the Transformational Leadership Style and Employee Engagement variables are jointly related to the Organizational Citizenship Behavior variable. The total effective contribution of the two independent variables to Organizational Citizenship Behavior is 21.9%. Based on these results, the hypothesis proposed in this study is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between leadership style, self-efficacy and subjective well-being in the Traffic Unit Personnel of the Deliserdang City Police. The research method is a quantitative descriptive correlative type with a correlative study pattern by placing the research variables in two groups, namely the independent variable and the dependent variable. The research population is the Traffic Unit of the Deliserdang City Police, totaling 135 personnel. The sampling technique used is Proportional Random Sampling technique with the number of research subjects as many as 40 personnel, the data collection method uses a scale of leadership style and self-efficacy with subjective well being. Analysis of research data shows that (1) there is a significant positive relationship between leadership style and subjective well-being of employees/personnel of SAT LANTAS Polresta Deliserdang, as indicated by the coefficient rx1y = 0.687 and p 0.01; (2) there is a significant positive relationship between individual/personnel self-efficacy and subjective well-being in the Traffic Unit Personnel of the Deliserdang City Police, North Sumatra, as indicated by the coefficient rx2y = 0.108 and p 0.01; for the two hypotheses above, the product moment analysis technique is used; (3) there is a significant relationship between the leadership style of organizational leaders and individual/personnel self-efficacy with subjective well-being in the Traffic Unit Personnel of the Deliserdang City Police, North Sumatra, which is indicated by the coefficient F = 16,605; R = 0.688; R2 = 0.473 with p 0.01. Furthermore, the Standard error of estimate (SEE) is 16,33831. The accuracy rate is 100% - 16,33831 = 83.66169%. The third hypothesis in this study is to use Multiple Regression analysis.

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) the relationship between Internal Locus of Control and Organizational Citizenship Behavior in North Sumatra Police Mobile Brigade Unit Personnel; (2) The relationship between the Democratic Leadership Style and the Organizational Citizenship Behavior of the North Sumatra Police Mobile Brigade Unit Personnel; (3) Relationship, internal locus of control and Democratic Leadership Style with Organizational Citizenship Behavior in North Sumatra Police Mobile Brigade Unit Personnel. This research uses a quantitative approach using instruments, namely the Internal Locus of Control scale, the Democratic Leadership Style Scale and the Organizational Citizenship Behavior Scale. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis. The results of the study can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between Internal Locus of Control and Democratic Leadership with Organizational Citizenship Behavior in North Sumatra Police Mobile Brigade Unit personnel indicated by a positive relationship between Internal Locus of Control and Democratic Leadership Style with Organizational Citizenship Behavior, this is indicated by the coefficient Freg = 42.451; sig 0.001. Based on the results of this study, the proposed hypothesis is accepted. b). there is a positive relationship between Internal Locus Of Control with Organizational Citizenship Behavior with a correlation coefficient of rx1y = 0.581; sig 0.001; and the weight of the effective contribution is 33.8%. c). There is a positive relationship between Democratic Leadership Style and Organizational Citizenship Behavior, with a correlation coefficient of rx2y = 0.500; sig 0.001; with an effective contribution weight of 25%. The total effective contribution of the two independent variables to Organizational Citizenship Behavior is 36.6%. d). From these results it is known that there are still 63.4% influence of other variables on Organizational Citizenship Behavior.

Abstract

The success of an institution cannot be separated from its HR factor. The superior quality of the personality of HR in an institution becomes its own pride and also becomes a weapon to advance an institution. Likewise in the Police environment, superior human resources are key in advancing POLRI institutions. The phenomenon that occurs at the current research site is that there are still many cases of disciplinary violations committed by members of the North Sumatra Regional BRIMOB. OCB is believed to contribute more in the workplace. Purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between seniority and work culture on OCB. The population in this study was the North Sumatra Regional BRIMOB personnel serving in Medan, amounting to 752 personnel, then taken as many as 120 research samples, sampling taken random sampling. This is a quantitative research. Data collection uses a scale from OCB, Seniority and Work Culture. This research tested using multiple regression analysis. The results showed a) a positive and strong relationship between Seniority and OCB with a correlation coefficient value rx1y = 0.557 and Seniority contributed 31%, b) a positive and moderate relationship between Work Culture and Organizational citizenship behavior with a correlation coefficient of rx2y = 0.485 and Work Culture contributes 23.5%, c) there is a positive and strong relationship between Seniority and Work Culture with OCB with correlation coefficient rx1x2y = 0.589, so it can be concluded that Seniority and Work Culture contribute equally by 34.6% against OCB. Based on these results, the three hypotheses in this study were accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to determine empirically the relationship between emotional maturity and organizational climate with the employee work procrastination of PT. Surya Madistrindo Area Office Medan. The population in this study were 315 people. This study used purposive sampling technique amounted to 60 people. This research uses a quantitative approach. The instrument used was a valid and reliable questionnaire for emotional maturity, organizational climate and work procrastination. This study was analyzed by means of multiple regression analysis. The results showed that: (1) There is a negative relationship between emotional maturity and work procrastination seen from the coefficient (Rx1y) = -0.609 with p 0.000 0.050. The contribution of emotional maturity to work procrastination can be seen from the coefficient of determination (R2) = 0.371 or 37.1%. (2) There is a negative relationship between organizational climate and work procrastination which is coefficient (Rx2y) = -0.465 with p = 0.000 0.050. The contribution of emotional maturity to work procrastination can be seen from the coefficient of determination (R2) = 0.216 or 21.6%. (3). There is a negative relationship between emotional maturity and organizational climate with work procrastination seen from the coefficient value (Rx1x2y) = -0.637 with p = 0.000 0.050. The contribution of emotional maturity and organizational climate to work procrastination is seen from the value of the coefficient of determination (R2) = 0.406 or 40.6%.
