Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan artikel ini adalah untuk menyajikan hasil pengamatan peneliti terhadap profesionalitasi Dosen Muda UM dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran melalui Lesson Study. Lesson study memiliki tiga tahap yaitu plan (perencanaan), do (pelaksanaan) dan see (refleksi). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah research action atau penelitian tindakan kelas yang langkah-langkahnya disesuaikan dengan langkah-langkah lesson study. Dosen muda yang masih sedikit pengalaman dalam pengajaran diharapkan dapat menambah wawasannya dalam kegiatan pembelajaran melalui kegiatan lesson study. Kritik, saran dan masukan dari para observer akan menjadi acuan perbaikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang telah didiskusikan secara kolaboratif dengan observer akan memberi dampak positif pada aktifitas mahasiswa di dalam pembelajaran.Abstract: The purpose of this article is to present the results of the researchers' observations on the professionalization of UM Young Lecturers in the implementation of learning through lesson study. Lesson study has three stages, namely plan (planning), do (implementation) and see (reflection). The method used in this research is action research or classroom action research, the steps are adjusted to the lesson study steps. It is hoped that young lecturers who have little experience in teaching can add insight into learning activities through lesson study activities. Criticism, suggestions and input from observers will be a reference for improving the implementation of learning. The implementation of learning that has been discussed collaboratively with observers will have a positive impact on student activities in learning.

Abstract

Elementary school age is a period of physical growth and movement that plays an important role in the formation of quality individuals. Through physical movements in the form of games that continue to provide optimal development in children both cognitive maturity and motor development. Sports with a play-and-game system can increase the growth of neurons in the brain and stimulate the growth of new neurons in the hippocampus. Meanwhile, physical education learning in elementary schools is still teacher-centered and there is still a lack of variety of learning models. Based on the above problems, the play-and-game model can be used as a monotonous and less interesting learning solution. This learning is effective and innovative because it can provide learning experiences both from cognitive, motor, and affective aspects. Engaging in physical activity will positively affect all systems: cardiovascular, respiratory, hormonal, immunological, and nervous systems. In addition, a large development of the frontal and temporal lobes at the age of children 7-12 years. The brain will become more rapidly developed so that it will make faster cognitive improvement. The Play and game model can improve academic performance both in memory, memory, and learning.
