Abstract

Trauma gigi anak merupakan kasus yang sering dijumpai. Intrusi gigi merupakan salah satu akibat trauma berupa perpindahan gigi ke dalam soket alveolaris. Intrusi gigi permanen anak dengan pertumbuhan akar sempurna perlu segera ditangani untuk menghindari kerusakan permanen gigi dan jaringan pendukung. Reposisi secara bedah dipilih dengan pertimbangan kondisi umum, lama kejadian, keparahan dislokasi, kondisi mahkota dan pertumbuhan akar. Tujuan laporan ini adalah melaporkan keberhasilan pembedahan pada kasus fraktur dentoalveolar dengan multipel gigi intrusi. Seorang anak laki-laki berusia 10 tahun datang ke RSGM Prof. Soedomo dengan keluhan gigi masuk ke langit-langit setelah terjatuh kurang lebih 30 menit sebelum kedatangan. Keadaan umum baik, compos mentis,  GCS 15, tanda vital normal, rasa sakit pada gigi atas (VAS = 7), tidak dicurigai cedera kepala atau trauma di tempat lain. Pemeriksaan klinis menunjukkan vulnus laceratum pada gingiva anterior maksila, empat gigi incisivus maksila (12,11, 21, 22) mengalami intrusi. Gigi insisivus sentral dan lateral kanan terlihat sepertiga mahkota, gigi insisivus sentral dan lateral kiri mahkota tidak tampak. Pemeriksaan radiografis menunjukkan intrusi gigi insisivus maksila dengan kedalaman lebih dari 7 milimeter, akar gigi telah tumbuh sempurna, dan tidak terdapat fraktur akar, fraktur mahkota maupun fraktur rahang. Tindakan yang dilakukan adalah reposisi gigi intrusi dan fiksasi interdental maksila. Perawatan bedah dan fiksasi interdental memberikan hasil yang sangat  baik. Hasil kontrol pasca perawatan didapatkan oklusi normal, pasien mampu membuka dan menutup mulut tanpa ada gangguan, gigi-gigi intrusi dalam kondisi vital, mastikasi normal, dan estetika baik.ABSTRACT: Severe Traumatic Intrusions of Multiple Maxillary Incisors In Children. Dental trauma is one of the most common traumas during childhood. The report will discuss about a treatment of multiple severe traumatically  intruded maxillary incisors in children. A 10-year-old boy came to Prof. Soedomo Dental Hospital with a complaint of teeth intrusion after having accident in school thirty minutes before. The patient was in good general condition, compos mentis, the GCS score was 15, vital sign was normal, pain on anterior maxillary teeth (VAS was 7), no head injury or other traumas. The clinical examination showed that there was vulnus laceratum on maxillary gingival, and intrusion of the four maxillary incisors (12, 11, 21, 22). Only one-third crown of the right maxillary incisors was visible, meanwhile, the crowns of the left maxillary incisors were totally invisible. The supporting radiographic examination showed that the four maxillary incisors was apically intruded with more than seven millimeters in depth. The teeth’s root were well-developed (complete root formation), no fractures of the teeth’s root, crown, and the jaw. The patient underwent intruded teeth repositioning surgical treatment and maxillary inter dental fixation. Clinical evaluation (1 month and 2 months) after the treatments showed that the occlusion was achieved as the same as before the trauma. The patient was able to open and close the mouth normally without functional impairments. Furthermore, the intruded teeth were in a vital condition, no mastication pain, and with a good aesthetics.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Gender and Family Environment toward college student’s entrepreneurial interest. This study was conducted towards student of S1 Management Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University. The number of samples in this study is 91college students of S1 FEB management UNDIP the force from 2012 to 2015. The technique to testing data is multiple linear regression analysis.The results of this study indicate that the gender variable has no significant effect on the college student’s entrepreneurial interest. While the family environment positively and significantly affect the college student’s entrepreneurial interest. Gender and family environment variables simultaneously influence college student entrepreneurial interest by 10.5% and 89.5% were influenced by other factors.

Abstract

The aimed of this research to describe the student learning outcomes and critical thinking skills through guided inquiry model using student worksheet oriented of critical thinking skills. This Research was conducted on two stages, are development of teaching materials using Dick and Carey model, and the implementation stage into the classroom using one group pretest-posttest design with subjects were 30 students on X class of SMAN 1 Pasir Belengkong Kabupaten Paser Kalimantan Timur. The parameter is feasibility of lesson plan, student activity, learning outcomes, critical thinking skills and constraints for teaching and learning activities. Data collecting were using observation method, test, and questionnaire. After the data were analiyzed with this result: The feasibility of lesson plan could be categorized as good, student activity with instrument reliability classified as good, learning outcomes test to know mastery of student learning on Ecosystems with the average score as good and gain score high gain, critical thinking test with the average score as good and gain score high gain. Based on this research, it can be concluded that guided inquiry model using student worksheet of critical thinking skills can improve student learning outcomes and critical thinking skills. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil belajar siswa dan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa melalui model inkuiri terbimbing menggunakan LKS berorientasi keterampilan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua tahap, yaitu tahap pengembangan perangkat yang menggunakan model Dick & Carey, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan tahap implememtasi model di dalam kelas menggunakan rancangan One group Pretest-Posttest Design dengan subjek penelitian 30 siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Pasir Belengkong Kabupaten Paser Kalimantan Timur. Parameter yang diukur meliputi keterlaksanaan RPP, aktivitas siswa, hasil belajar siswa, keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa, respon siswa dan hambatan selama kegiatan belajar. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, tes, dan angket. Selanjutnya data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Keterlaksanaan RPP dengan kategori baik, aktivitas siswa, dengan reliabilitas instrumen berkategori baik, ketuntasan belajar siswa pada materi ekosistem dengan nilai rata-rata baik dan gain score rata-rata  gain tinggi, ketuntasan keterampilan berpikir kritis dengan rata-rata nilai baik dan gain score rata-rata gain tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa model inkuiri terbimbing menggunakan LKS berorientasi keterampilan berpikir kritis dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

The topic Nutrition and Energy Transformation concepts are abstract and difficult to comprehend. To overcome such a difficulty, it is necessary to develop a set of instructional package incorporating Macromedia flash. The Dick and Carey instructional development model was used for that purpose. Before the implementation of the instructional programs, all of the components of the instructional package consisted of lesson implementation plan, media, student worksheet Guided discovery type, student workbook, and assesment intrument, were validated and met the prescribed criteria. Implementation in the school only observe one class without replication. Thirty Junior High School Students involvedin this investigation using One Group Pretest-Postest Design. Result of this research shows the lesson plan is good (3,5), learning modul is good (3,0), student worksheet type Guided discovery is good (3,5), media is good (3,5), and student achievement mastery also good (3,0). Implementation lesson plan in class using direct instruction is good (3,67), with reliability around 82% (good/reliable). Student activity commonly is good (13,25) with reliable average 92%. Student respon is good, above 83%. Student achievement increase with Gain score above 0.7. The result of observation of the teaching and learning process, conducted during its implementation, showed that there was a consistency betweenthe prescribed teaching and learning experienced with its implementation. Students had met the 80% minimum mastery criteria. So it can be concluded that the development instructional package is effective to increase the junior High School student achievement. Materi proses perolehan nutrisi dan transformasi energi pada tumbuhan hijau sulit dipahami oleh siswa karena bersifat abstrak, sehingga tidak dapat dilihat secara nyata. Atas dasar itu, perlu kiranya mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran dengan bantuan tampilan media Macro flash. Untuk itu, telah dilakukan suatu penelitian pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran, yang berorientasi Dick and Carey dan bertujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini hanya dilakukan pada satu kelas saja, tanpa melakukan ulangan. Subyek penelitian 30 orang siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 22 Surabaya, dengan rancangan Short Case Pretest-Postest, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penilaian RPP baik (3,5), BAS baik (3,0), LKS bercirikan Guided discovery baik (3,5), media baik (3,5) dan tes hasil belajar baik (3,0). Pengelolaan pelaksanaan di kelas dengan pembelajaran langsung termasuk baik (3,67) dengan reliabilitas 82% (baik/reliabel). Aktivitas siswa secara umum baik (13,25)dengan reliabilitas rata-rata 92%. Abstract

The quality of life of patients becomes an essential part of the success of an intervention since it is used as an outcome measure. Mandible resection will cause discontinuities that can degrade the quality of life of patients. Extensive resectionand reconstruction will affect the quality of life of patients after resection and reconstruction surgery as compared with that before the surgery. On this basis, cross-sectional study was conducted among 27 patients suffering from benignmandibular tumors undergoing surgical procedure of marginal resection, segmental resection, or hemimandibulectomy at Dr. Sardjito genral hospital in 2010-2015. Quality of life of patients after mandibular resection and reconstruction was measured with modified oral health impact profile (OHIP-14). An assessment of the quality of life before and after surgery was based on gender and type of reconstruction and it was analyzed using t-test and one-way ANOVA. It was revealed that the quality of life of patients with benign tumors increased significantly (p=0,000), and that gender differences did not significantly affect the improved quality of life (p=0.433). The mean score of patient’s quality of life was highest on the type of marginal resection (mean value =14.50), and the lowest was on segmental resection (mean value=7.50), but the type of resection did not significantly influence the improved quality of life (p=0.152). Resection and reconstruction procedures under taken by Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at Dr. Sardjito general hospital can improve the quality of life of patients with benign tumors of the lower jaw.

Abstract

Management of mandibular fracture using open reduction Internal fixation (ORIF) method is one of the ideal treatments for single and multiple mandibular fractures. The aim of this study was to determine the quality of life of patients after the treatment of mandibular fractures with ORIF using miniplate in single and multiple mandibular fractures. This research used case-control by recalling 43 research subjects in the oral surgery department Dr Sardjito general hospital between 2013 and 2017, that consisted of patients suffering from 23 single fractures and 20 multiple mandibular fractures. Each fracture would be examined clinically and subjectively. Clinical examination parameters were conducted using the mandibular mobility index (MMI) consisting of mouth opening assessment, left and right lateral mandibular excursion, and mandibular protrusive movement. Subjective parameters were performed based on general oral health asseesment index (GOHAI) questionnaire to assess physiological aspects, psychosocial aspects, and pain. The results of the chi-square test statistic study showed that the quality of life of a patient with a single mandibular fracture was better than that of multiple mandibular fractures based on MMI and GOHAI examinations. It was concluded that patients with a single mandibular fracture had a younger age, longer time adaptation and have a better quality of life.
