Abstract

The aim of this dedication is to improve the teachers’ professionalism in using elementary learning media/KIT in the city of Palangkaraya. The method of this activity used in the form of training/workshop and the training results are presented by each teacher group, through stages 1) lecture 2) simulation 3) exploration 4) mentoring and 5) evaluation. The target audience or training participants were the classroom teachers and subject teachers at Muhammadiyah Elementary School in Palangkaraya city, as many as 19 people and also involves some of the university students who have been trained using elementary learning KIT correctly. The result of this dedication activity showed that: the ability of teachers in Elementary School of Muhammadiyah Pahandut Palangkaraya is 90% teachers has been skilled to both operate learning KIT and 10% teachers in enough category and still need more guidance in operating KIT Learning.

Abstract

This research aims to know applying of animation media to increase students mastery of concept in learning process on circulation system of human blood at PGSD students S-1 FKIP UMP. Research method used in this observation ’queasy experiment’, the collection of data collected use quistioners and analized with t test by doing pre-test post-test, with design 0₁ X 0₂. Research population all students room B-32 which amount 35 students and all population become sample. Validity of 20 items tested is tall and rebiliaty is reliable, and normality test of data distribution is normal, while homoginity variant result and post test shows F count = 1,71< F table 7,47, While result pre test and post test show t count 13,69 >t table 2,04, it means any significant difference. The result of pre-test level indicator C1, C2, C3 and C4 less tall, and post-test level is taller. Thus, it can be concluded that learning process used media of animation can increase students’ mastery of concept.

Abstract

The method used qualitative research methods case study type. This qualitative study using this type of case research strategy. Riduwan (2005) suggested Qualitative Methods is a research method that is used to examine the condition of scientific objects, where the researcher is a key instrument. Qualitative research uses the natural environment as a data source directly. Situation good education within the family, school, and community, as it is (naturally) without any changes and intervention by the researcher, is the object of qualitative research. Silalahi (2003: 62) and Sudjana and Ibrahim (2001: 69-71) argues the case study are (a) a study that will involve us in a more in-depth investigation and a thorough examination of the behavior of an individual, (b) research on the background rear and conditions of individuals, groups, or communities with the aim to provide a complete picture of the subject or event under study, and (c) a study conducted intensive, detailed and in-depth on the organism, institution or certain symptoms. This case study is used as the subject under study narrow and limited. The results of the research that students Studies Program PGSD FKIP Muhammadiyah University of Palangkaraya year class of 2012 perform individual tasks and task groups is seen that the ability to teach students, especially in terms of confidence, dare to appear, the sound loud and clear and the characters / characteristic that has not been fully owned also less able to control the situation and condition of class.

Abstract

Basic Science lecture with a value of t-test value of 4.714 is greater than t-table value of 2.010635 and Problem Based Learning Model can improve cognitive learning outcomes of students on all the indicators of the indicator 1 (formulating the problem) from 0.60 to 0.78, the indicator 2 (formulating hypotheses) of 0.78 into 0.86, indicator 3 (create tables of data) from 0.18 to 0 , 36, indicator 4 (make a line graph) of 0.54 and 0.20 into a 5 indicator (draw conclusions) from 0.60 to 0.80. In addition the Cooperative Learning Model Groupo investigation type can’t improve student learning outcomes in the cognitive processes of nature Basic Science lecture significantly due to the value of -1.53144 t-count is smaller than t-table value of 2.032244. But the use of cooperative learning model group investigation type can improve learning outcomes 3 indicators of cognitive process in which the indicators 2 (hypothesis formulation) which increased from 0.17 to 0.36, indicator 3 (table creation) which increased from 0.44 becomes 0.61 and indicator 4 (graphing) which increased from 0.72 to 0.80. When seen from the comparison of the two models used the results showed that there are differences in the cognitive processes of learning outcomes of students in the course of nature basic science lecture between learning model Problem Based Learning and Cooperative Learning with group investigation type t value of 3.967 rely more than t table that is equal to 2.019541.
