Abstract

ABSTRAK Proses pembelajaran biologi di SMA Negeri 12 Banjarmasin saat ini belum begitu berpusat kepada siswa sehingga keterampilan proses siswanya masih kurang. Salah satu cara yang dapat digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan ini dengan menggunakan model Sinektik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang bertujuan mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman siswa, aktivitas siswa, aktivitas guru serta respon siswa. Penelitian terbagi menjadi 3 siklus, masing-masing siklus terdiri dari 1 kali pertemuan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 12 Banjarmasin yang berjumlah 23 orang siswa. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masih ada beberapa indikator yang belum tercapai dalam penelitian tentang penggunaan model Sinektik pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 12 Banjarmasin pada konsep Sistem Peredaran Darah pada Manusia ini. Indikator keberhasilan proses belajar siswa ditunjukkan dari aktivitas siswa yang sudah terfokus pada kegiatan model sinektik sehingga hasil selama proses pembelajaran meningkat dari siklus 1 ke siklus 3 menjadi kategori baik. Hasil belajar siswa pada siklus 1 pada pre test 0% menjadi 13,63% pada post tes, pada siklus 2 hasil pre test 39,13% menjadi 91,30% pada post test dan pada siklus 3 hasil pre test 28,57% menjadi 57,14% pada post test. Hasil belajar dari siklus 1 ke siklus 2 mengalami peningkatan dan mencapai ketuntasan klasikal namun pada siklus 3 mengalami penurunan, tetapi setelah dilakukan analisis perbutir soal diketahui kalau penurunan tersebut bukan karena soal sinektik. Dari segi pengelolaan pembelajaran oleh guru sudah termasuk kategori baik walaupun guru masih belum bisa melepas dominansinya.Kata kunci: Model Sinektik, Sistem Peredaran Darah pada Manusia, PemahamanSiswa.

Abstract

This ethnobotany study of Kelakai (Stenochlaena palustris) analyzes the aspect of the relationship between plant and people, especially about the indigenous knowledge such as the benefit and how the use of this endemic fern. Methods included participant observation and semi structured interviews with a total of one hundred and ten participants were conducted in Palangkaraya, at Central of Kalimantan. The result shows that the Dayak ethnic society in Palangkaraya believe that Kelakai (Stenochlaena palustris) useful to increase milk production, increase hemoglobin, and as anti aging. Consequently, identifying this endemic fern’s benefit can help to preserve the local wisdom of Dayak ethnic group and natural plant conservation. Keywords: Central of Kalimantan; endemic fern; ethnobotany; Stenochlaena palustris

Abstract

Desa Handiwung terletak di daerah pelosok yang baru berkembang dengan pengetahuan masyarakat yang minim tentang pelaksanaan ibadah yang sesuai dengan syariat agama Islam. Sesuai dengan observasi awal, permasalahan umum yang seringkali dihadapi oleh masyarakat muslim di Desa Handiwung diantaranya tidak terlalu lancar membaca Al-Qur’an, oleh karena itu kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk melakukan pembinaan kepada masyarakat muslim minoritas di Desa Handiwung sehingga dapat lebih memahami tata cara pelaksanaan ibadah menurut syariat agama Islam. Kegiatan pembinaan nilai-nilai Islam bagi masyarakat di Desa Handiwung dilaksanakan selama 4 bulan yaitu dari bulan Agustus hingga November 2021, dengan menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi dan demonstrasi. Hasil kegiatan yang dilaksanakan yaitu pemahaman peserta kegiatan mengalami peningkatan baik tentang membaca Al-Quran, thaharoh, dan pelaksanaan mengurus jenazah.  Handiwung Village is located in a remote area that is just developing with minimal public knowledge about implementing worship following Islamic law. Following initial observations, common problems that are often faced by the Muslim community in Handiwung Village include not being too fluent in reading the Qur'an. Therefore, this community service activity is carried out to guide the minority Muslim community in Handiwung Village to be more understand the procedures for carrying out worship according to Islamic religious law. The activity of fostering Islamic values for the community in Handiwung Village was carried out for four months, from August to November 2021, using lecture, discussion and demonstration methods. The results of the activities carried out were that the participant's understanding of the activities had increased both in reading the Koran, thaharoh, and the implementation of taking care of the corpse.

Abstract

The great curiosity of adolescents to explore things is often not accompanied by careful consideration so that sometimes the actions are risky for themselves, others, and the surrounding environment. One problem that can arise is reproductive health problems. This training took place at the Muhammadiyah Health Vocational School in Palangkaraya and State High School 1 Palangka Raya with the reason that based on the results of interviews and questionnaires about knowledge of adolescent reproductive health which was still in the low category, no similar training had been carried out at the school. Students at the Vocational School are still teenagers too because they are engaged in health, which will go into the community and can then educate on Adolescent Reproductive Health. Peer groups can be used as a substitute for family, can function to stabilize the influence during the transition as a source of self-esteem, protection from adult coercion. Counselors who use peer counseling services can identify themselves with their peers, and the counselees assume that peer counselors have a willingness to build communication bridges. The results of this activity indicate that there is an increase in the average value of peer counseling skills in the field of adolescent reproductive health. The mean pre-test was 40.8, and the post-test mean was 67.4.

Abstract

The potential of students can be identified by carrying out psychological tests that describe students' personalities. There are 3 components of the test given, namely the integration test (IST), job interest (Kuder test), and personality test (EPPS). The combination of these three tests is called a battery test which results in a psychological report containing a psychogram regarding personal aspects, psychological descriptions, strengths, and weaknesses as well as recommendations for the appropriate field of work. This activity is planned to be carried out in non-school institutions such as courses or tutoring institutions. Based on the evaluation of self-assessment, it shows that participants are able to understand their personal condition along with their strengths and weaknesses, personal areas that need to be developed, and recommendations for higher education majors that are in accordance with their talents, personal interests of participants, evaluation of assessments of training activities shows the results that this training provides benefits to participants, especially regarding college recommendations and assessment of presenters where the presenters are considered good enough in delivering activity material.

Abstract

Basic Science lecture with a value of t-test value of 4.714 is greater than t-table value of 2.010635 and Problem Based Learning Model can improve cognitive learning outcomes of students on all the indicators of the indicator 1 (formulating the problem) from 0.60 to 0.78, the indicator 2 (formulating hypotheses) of 0.78 into 0.86, indicator 3 (create tables of data) from 0.18 to 0 , 36, indicator 4 (make a line graph) of 0.54 and 0.20 into a 5 indicator (draw conclusions) from 0.60 to 0.80. In addition the Cooperative Learning Model Groupo investigation type can’t improve student learning outcomes in the cognitive processes of nature Basic Science lecture significantly due to the value of -1.53144 t-count is smaller than t-table value of 2.032244. But the use of cooperative learning model group investigation type can improve learning outcomes 3 indicators of cognitive process in which the indicators 2 (hypothesis formulation) which increased from 0.17 to 0.36, indicator 3 (table creation) which increased from 0.44 becomes 0.61 and indicator 4 (graphing) which increased from 0.72 to 0.80. When seen from the comparison of the two models used the results showed that there are differences in the cognitive processes of learning outcomes of students in the course of nature basic science lecture between learning model Problem Based Learning and Cooperative Learning with group investigation type t value of 3.967 rely more than t table that is equal to 2.019541.

Abstract

Learning activities in SMAN 2 Banjarbaru has led to the observation of activities, but not optimal guided inquiry approach in detail. This resulted in performance students have not been honed, which is indispensable in biology education. This study aims to: test the significance of student learning outcomes in the form of a product between treatment classes and control classes, test the significance of the process of student learning outcomes between treatment classes and control classes, measure student performance. The study was designed with a quasi-experimental The Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sample of this study is class grade students X5 and X4 as a class treatment and X1 as a control classes. There are differences of the average of learning product treatment classes with control classes in 3 times learning (29.5 to 28.21; 51.2 to 28.93; 70.2 to 27.14). This difference was significant sequential (Fo = 16.76, P = 0.0001, Fo = 43.60, P = 0.0001, Fo = 140.47, P = 0.0001), there are differences in the average learning in the class of treatment with a class of learning control in 3 times learning (53.8 to 30.36; 60 to 37.5: 72.1 to 31.43). This difference was significant sequential (Fo = 88.77, P = 0.0001, Fo = 98.76, P = 0.0001, Fo = 245.92, P = 0.0001, the performance of students, characterized by behavioral skills, social and psychomotor skills assessment has increased.

Abstract

Berbagai permasalahan di kalangan remaja terkait kondisi moral dapat diatasi melalui pendidikan karakter. Pendidikan karakter diperlukan untuk melengkapi tujuan pendidikan seperti pemerolehan pengetahuan dan penguasaan keterampilan. Integrasi pendidikan karakter pada proses pembelajaran memerlukan sebuah pemikiran yang konkrit serta tindakan praktis sehingga dampaknya benar-benar dapat dirasakan oleh berbagai pihak. Keberhasilan pendidikan tidak hanya dilihat dari pencapaian hasil akademik, akan tetapi juga dari pembentukan karakter yang baik. Artikel ini bertujuan memberikan kontribusi akademik kepada para pendidik dalam rangka menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter berdasarkan ayat-ayat Al Qur’an kepada peserta didiknya. Al Qur'an merupakan salah satu sumber rujukan terkait pendidikan karakter, sehingga menunjukkan bahwa Al Qur'an memang merupakan pedoman hidup bagi umat muslim serta islam sebagai agama yang rahmatan lil alamin.

Abstract

Background: Taman Baca Baraoi merupakan sebuah taman baca yang ada di daerah pedalaman Kalimantan Tengah, Desa Tumbang Baraoi, kecamatan petak malai, Kabupaten katingan. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan pemberdayaan literasi sains ke masyarakat usia sekolah dasar di Desa Tumbang Baraoi tersebut. Metode: Kegiatan story telling menggunakan buku mengenai sains. Hasil: Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta kegiatan tertarik dengan kegiatan yang dilaksanakan. Hal tersebut diketahui berdasarkan hasil observasi terhadap motivasi belajar sains yang mengalami peningkatan. Sebelum kegiatan, motivasi instrinsik peserta sebesar 2,7 meningkat menjadi 4,6 setelah kegiatan, diiringi dengan self efficacy dari 3,2 meningkat menjadi 4,5, self determination meningkat dari 2,9 menjadi 4,5 dan motivasi kelas meningkat dari 2,7 menjadi 4,5. Berdasarkan data literasi sains juga mengalami peningkatan setelah kegiatan yaitu 32,8 meningkat menjadi 73,7. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan memebrikan dampak yang positif kepada peserta kegiatan. Kesimpulan: Kegiatan serupa seperti ini perlu untuk terus dilakukan karena tentunya masyarakat di Desa Tumbang Baraoi tersebut memiliki akses Pendidikan yang sangat minim.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor penghambat peserta didik dalam pembelajaran daring masa pandemi COVID-19 pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas IV di SD Muhammadiyah Pahandut. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Sumber data dari penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IV, guru kelas IV dan kepala sekolah di SD Muhammadiyah Pahandut Palangkaraya. Pembelajaran yang diteliti adalah pembelajaran IPA secara daring. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data digunakan tiga alur meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan 1) sinyal yang tidak lancar ataupun gangguan jaringan internet, 2) kuota yang terbatas juga merupakan faktor utama yang menghambat peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran daring. Hal tersebut mengakibatkan peserta didik 3) kurang memahami materi yang disampaikan dan sulit untuk mengerjakan tugas yang diberikan. 4) Keterlibatan orang tua juga merupakan hal yang penting, karena jika peserta didik sulit untuk mengerjakan tugas orang tua peserta didik dapat membantu dalam pengerjaan tugas yang tidak dipahami peserta didik.
