Abstract

The implementation of posyandu for the elderly is not optimal and the lack of understanding of the elderly about the posyandu for the elderly causes a lack of participation and utilization of services by the elderly. This community service activity is carried out at the Posyandu Elderly in Sumbertebu Village with the aim to improve the skills of posyandu cadres and increase the participation of the elderly coming to the Posyandu. Revitalization activities include cadre training activities, making health promotion media, socializing the use of elderly posyandu through visits to elderly homes, assisting the implementation of elderly posyandu, and carrying out development activities in the form of elderly gymnastics (sports and group therapy (education). the results of this community service include increasing cadre skills in implementing posyandu and increasing the number of elderly visits to posyandu, optimizing the main service activities in posyandu and development activities capable of increasing the motivation of elderly people to come to the elderly posyandu.

Abstract

Children with special needs can experience limitations in terms of communication, social interaction, and behavior. One of them is on autism. Particular therapy is needed to optimize the period of growth and development in children with autism. This study aimed to describe the therapeutic achievement of children with autism at the Sub Specialist Polyclinic of RSJ Dr. Radjiman Wediodiningrat Lawang. A descriptive study using secondary data from report cards or contact books was recorded based on the assessment of therapeutic aspects, which was carried out for three months. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a total sample of 38 people. Data analysis was carried out descriptively to describe the achievement of therapy. The results showed that most of the therapeutic achievements in children with autism were achieved (73.3%). The therapy is given according to the indications or difficulties experienced by children with autism. The results also showed that most of the children who received therapy achieved the criteria for therapy and improvement in therapy outcomes within one month. AutismĀ is a disorder that cannot be cured but can be treated. Understanding the condition of children with autism and providing appropriate therapy needs to be considered by health workers and parents. Abstrak Anak berkebutuhan khusus dapat mengalami keterbatasan dari segi komunikasi, interaksi sosial dan perilaku. Salah satunya adalah pada autisme. Dibutuhkan terapi khusus untuk dapat mengoptimalkan periode tumbuh kembang pada anak dengan autisme. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan ketercapaian terapi pada anak dengan autisme di Poli Sub Spesialis RSJ Dr. Radjiman Wediodiningrat Lawang. Penelitian ini merupakan studi deskriptif menggunakan data sekunder dari buku rapor atau buku penghubung yang tercatat berdasarkan penilaian aspek terapi yang dilakukan selama 3 bulan. Teknik sampling menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 38 orang. analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif untuk menggambarkan ketercapaian terapi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ketercapaian terapi pada anak dengan autisme sebagian besar (73.7%) berada pada kategori tercapai. Terapi yang diberikan sesuai dengan indikasi atau kesulitan yang dialami oleh anak dengan autisme. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan sebagian besar anak yang mendapat terapi, mampu mencapai kriteria terapi dan perbaikan dalam hasil terapi dalam waktu satu bulan. Autisme adalah gangguan yang tidak bisa disembuhkan, namun bisa diterapi. Pemahaman terhadap kondisi anak dengan autisme dan pemberian terapi yang sesuai perlu untuk diperhatikan tidak hanya oleh tenaga kesehatan tetapi juga oleh orang tua. Abstract

Merokok masih menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat yang serius. Pada saat sekarang ini, kebiasaan merokok tidak hanya menjadi masalah pada orang dewasa, namun juga semakin marak pada kalangan anak dan remaja. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja tentang bahaya merokok pada remaja di SMK Nasional Dawar Blandong Mojokerto. Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) diterapkan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini karena dapat menumbuhkan kesadaran dan keaktifan peserta dalam peningkatan pengetahuan tentang bahaya merokok pada remaja. Metode analisis data menggunakan nilai pre-test dan post-test. Peserta dalam kegiatan ini berjumlah 49 orang. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan remaja terhadap bahaya merokok. Sebelum pendidikan kesehatan, pengetahuan peserta hampir seluruhnya berada pada kategori cukup (77,6%), sedangkan setelah pendidikan kesehatan, pengetahuan peserta sebagian besar berada pada kategori baik (69,4%). Pemahaman tentang kesehatan, terutama bahaya merokok pada remaja penting untuk dilakukan secara berkesinambungan agar terus dapat diingat dan diaplikasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Adolescent health is a complex issue. In dealing with this problem, it is often found that teenagers will seek as much information as possible, especially in a time of speedy technological developments like today. The information sought starts from growth and development, health, relationships, fashion trends, etc. The ability to filter the truth from the information obtained needs to be paid attention to. This community service activity aims to enrich knowledge and familiarize teenagers with healthy behaviour in Mojokerto. The method used was health education conducted in 5 high schools/vocational schools in the Mojokerto area with non-communicable diseases, infectious diseases, risky sexual behaviour, stunting incidents, and bullying/bullying. Participants in this activity are students from class X - XII. The results obtained from this community service activity are the increasing knowledge of adolescents about adolescent health, which includes non-communicable diseases, infectious diseases, risky sexual behaviour, stunting incidents, and bullying/bullying. Before the health counselling, most participants had sufficient category knowledge (68,8%); after the health education, almost all participants had good category knowledge (86,7%). Understanding and educating teenagers about health through multisectoral and multidimensional collaboration is essential.
