Abstract

Desa Prima is one of the policies of the Ministry of Women’s Empowerment to break the poverty chain and women empowerment through productive economic development. “Kenanga” group is one of the Desa Prima with 21 active members engaged in culinary (81%), handicraft (9.5%), and services (9.5%). During the pandemic, sales are decreasing drastically. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an alternative business to survive and develop. By using FGD (Focus Group Discussion) and the PRA (Participatory Rural Appraisal) method, these service activities aim to provide alternative product diversification. This service provided training in making “pisang sanggan” and “Jadah Wajik” as delivery in “seserahan” ceremony. This training was chosen because it is still relevant to the business field of the participants and can increase selling. The results show that the training increases participants’ understanding, skills, and creativity in making “Pisang sanggan” and “Jadah Wajik” and selling the product 100%.

Abstract

Peternak sapi perah di Desa Kemiri Kecamatan Mojosongo Kabupaten Boyolali menghadapi permasalahan dalam usahanya seperti harga susu yang rendah dan kurangnya pengetahuan tentang produk olahan susu untuk meningkatkan nilai tambah produk. Oleh karena itu dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan pelatihan produk olahan susu berupa yoghurt pada salah satu kelompok ternak di Desa Kemiri. Kegiatan pelatihan ini dilakukan pada 15 anggota kelompok ternak mukti di Desa Kemiri. Kegiatan pelatihan dilakukan dengan pemberian materi, praktek atau demonstrasi langsung cara pembuatan yoghurt, dan evaluasi kegiatan pelatihan melalui pre-test dan post-test. Hasil dari kegiatan pelatihan ini para peternak telah memiliki pengetahuan dan ketrampilan cara pembuatan yoghurt-homemade. Diharapkan dari hasil kegiatan pelatihan ini akan dapat meningkatkan nilai tambah produk susu yang dihasilkan para peternak melalui pembuatan yoghurt.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan keuntungan, profitabilitas, dan efisiensi dari industri rumah tangga gula merah dan industri rumah tangga gula semut di Kecamatan Buayan, Kabupaten Kebumen. Metode dasar penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dan analitik. Metode pengambilan lokasi secara purposive dan pengambilan sampel dengan metode simple random sampling. Jumlah sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 responden gula merah dan 30 responden gula semut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata biaya industri rumah tangga gula merah sebesar Rp 2.110.243, penerimaan sebesar Rp 2.421.617, dengan keuntungan sebesar Rp 311.374, sedangkan besarnya rata-rata biaya industri rumah tangga gula semut sebesar Rp 2.484.629, penerimaan sebesar Rp 3.741.700, dengan keuntungan sebesar Rp 1.257.071. Industri rumah tangga gula merah mempunyai tingkat profitabilitas sebesar 12,75%, dengan nilai efisiensi sebesar 1,13, sedangkan industri rumah tangga gula semut sebesar 46,66% dengan nilai efisiensi sebesar 1,47. Hasil uji statistik (t-test) menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan keuntungan, profitabilitas, dan efisiensi antara industri rumah tangga gula merah dan gula semut.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the costs, receipts, business advantages, and business feasibility of food Small Medium Enterprise (SMEs).  The primary method used in this study is analytical descriptive with survey techniques. This research involved food SMEs entrepreneurs in Sukoharjo Regency with several 50 respondents. The sampling method uses a simple random sampling method. Data is obtained by interview and observation methods. The analytical techniques used are profit analysis, R/C ratio, liquidity analysis, solvency, business rentability, and risk analysis. The results showed that the RoA value was 12.102% so that the Food SMEs in Sukoharjo Regency showed possible outcomes to be developed. SMEs' solvency value represents a figure of 0.016%, based on creditors funding the business of 0.016% of the total assets held.

Abstract

Dates originating from Egypt are the best-selling dates in Indonesia. Dates from Egypt have the designation Golden Orient which is produced by the Orient Group. The shape of the large dates, with a soft texture, and cheap, makes the Golden Orient dates in great demand by consumers. This study aims to determine the effect of marketing mix 4P simultaneously and partially on purchasing decisions of Golden Orient Dates. This research is also to find out the most influential variables on consumer decisions to buy Golden Orient Dates. Determining the location purposively with 100 respondents. The type of data used is Likert scale primary data, answers obtained through questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis used multiple linear regression with SPSS 25. The results of the analysis explained simultaneously eight variables influencing purchasing decisions. Individually, variables of quality, packaging, price affordability, and price suitability influencing purchasing decisions. Golden Orient dates have good quality in terms of texture and taste, and have attractive packaging. The price of Golden Orient dates is affordable with quality according to the price. Accessibility, parking facilities, advertising, and advertising time have no significant effect. Companies need evaluation related to this matter to improve purchasing decisions. The most dominant variable influencing is price affordability, because it is cheaper than other stores.
