Abstract

The purpose of the study is to examine the influence of the ratios of ROA, ROE and ROI altogether and each of them and the shares market price of public bank companies in Indonesia during 2012-2017. ROA and ROE ratios on this study are regarded as the proxy of profitability ratios, while, ROI ratio on this study is considered as the proxy of activity ratio. Based on the study result, it shows that all ratios have a positive relationship with the shares market price of public bank companies in Indonesia. The results exhibit that each ROE and ROI has a positive relationship with the shares market price of public bank companies in Indonesia. However, it is inconsistent with ROA that it found that there is no relationship between ROA and the shares market price of public bank companies in Indonesia

Abstract

Saham perbankan seringkali menjadi rekomendasi para analis saham karena dianggap sebagai cerminan ekonomi tanah air. Kapitalisasi pasarnya yang besar, yaitu mencapai 57,23% dari 10 emiten terbesar di BEI menjadi daya tarik investor saham untuk berinvestasi sesuai dengan tujuannya. Saham perusahaan perbankan yang tercatat pada Bursa Efek Indonesia sebanyak 45 perusahaan, beberapa di antaranya adalah PT Bank Central Asia Tbk, PT Bank Mandiri Tbk, dan Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Ketiga bank tersebut memiliki total asset dengan rentang yang tidak terlalu jauh sehingga dapat dibandingkan untuk dijadikan rekomendasi kepada investor. Peramalan harga saham dapat diramalkan menggunakan metode multivariate time series dengan model VAR (Vector Autoregressive), sedangkan tren harga saham dapat diketahui dengan analisis teknikal. Model peramalan yang didapatkan untuk ketiga bank yaitu VARI ([1, 3],1) dengan hasil peramalan pada bulan April cenderung konstan. The primary trend ketiga saham cenderung uptrend, sedangkan the secondary trend dan the minor trend cenderung downtrend dan sideways.

Abstract

This study aims to prove whether work ethics and work environment variables significantly influence employee loyalty through job satisfaction and employee commitment to Nurul Hayat Surabaya employees. Data collection in this study used a questionnaire with a total sample of 75 employees at the Nurul Hayat Surabaya Foundation. Criteria for respondents in this study were employees of the Nurul Hayat Surabaya foundation who had worked more than one year. Sampling uses Non Probability Sampling with saturated sampling technique or often also called a census. This research uses a quantitative approach with SEM Partial Least Squares analysis method. Exogenous variables in this study are work ethics and work environment, mediating variables used are employee satisfaction and commitment, while the endogenous variables used are employee loyalty. The findings of this study indicate that the intervening variable, namely job satisfaction, does not significantly influence endogenous variables, namely the employee loyalty of the Nurul Hayat Foundation in Surabaya and employee commitment has a significant effect on the endogenous variable, namely the employee loyalty of the Nurul Hayat Foundation in Surabaya. Exogenous variables of work ethics and work environment have a significant effect on endogenous variables, namely employee loyalty of Nurul Hayat Foundation, Surabaya. Suggestions for further research are expected to increase the scope of research subjects with the same characteristics of respondents.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of gender on entrepreneurship intention through attitude as a mediating variable of entrepreneurship, subjective norms, and perceived behavior controls, and their implications. The sample of this research consisted of 429 students from four state and private universities in East Java. The sample was taken by non-random sampling that is through accidental sampling. In addition, the sample was taken from the students who were still taking the lecture. This was done to facilitate the distribution of questionnaires and the return and accuracy of answers given by students. The analysis technique used in this research is quantitative data analysis technique using Path Analysis modeling. The results shows that, gender directly affects the intention of entrepreneurship. The effect of gender on entrepreneurial intention is mediated by attitude toward entrepreneurship, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control.

Abstract

Stock is one of the instruments that can be used to invest. The factors suspected of influencing the fluctuations in the stock price index are the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI), the rupiah exchange rate, and the Covid-19. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the JCI, the rupiah exchange rate, and the Covid-19 on the Jatim Bank stock price index. To analyze the effect of the JCI, the rupiah exchange rate, and the Covid-19 on the Jatim Bank stock price index, time series regression analysis was used. The results of the analysis show that the JCI, the rupiah exchange rate, and the Covid-19 have a significant effect on the Jatim Bank stock price index. The p-value of the three variables is less than 0.05. The value of the determination coefficient is 65.56%, so that the diversity of the dependent variable that can be explained by the model is 65.56%.

Abstract

The Indofood Group and even all companies at the present time are facing tight competition. As a consequence of this condition, they must have abilities to build and to keep, as well as to increase the brand equity of their products they offered. There are four purposes of this research; firstly, to examine the influence of brand awareness to the brand equity of Bimoli brand at Indofood Group; secondly, to examine the influence of perceived quality to the brand equity of Bimoli brand at Indofood Group; thirdly, to examine the influence of brand association to the brand equity of Bimoli brand at Indofood Group; and fourthly, to examine the influence of brand awareness, perceived quality and brand association simultaneously to the brand equity of Bimoli brand at Indofood Group. The population of this research is consumers of fried oil of Bimoli who ever buy and consume fried oil of Bimoli brand in towns of Surabaya and Sidoarjo. Samples taken for conducting the research were samples who own population characteristics. Total number of consumer respondent as samples of this research was established at the amount of 130 respondents. Primary data collection for realizing this research was done by distributing questioners to all consumer respondents. It was noted that the sampling method was using non-probability sampling through convenience sampling technique. Technical analyis implemented in this research is statistical formula in this case multiple linear regression model. Through t-test, results of research have proved that brand awareness variable has no impact individually to the brand equity variable, and two variables of perceived quality and brand association have the impact individually to the brand equity variable, and through F-test, the three variables of brand awareness, perceived quality and brand association have the impact simultaneously to the brand equity variable.

Abstract

Focus of this research is analysis on the influence of brand equity upon brand extenssion. In this research, the brand equity was measured by dimensions (brand awareness, perceived quality and brand association). The analyzed variables in this research are classified into exogenous variables consisted of brand awareness, perceived quality and brand association variables, and endogenous variables comprised of brand equity and brand extension variables. Likert scale of 5 points was implemented for measuring variables in the research model. Samples of the research are consumer respondents, those are consumer respondents bought and consumed Filma brand fried oil product category in Surabayacity. There are 200 respondents of consumers have been taken for the purpose of conducting this research. Data obtained from the research are analyzed by applying the SPSS program of 11.0 verssion and the AMOS program of 4.01 verssion. The SPSS program was used for the purpose of conducting the preliminary tests (validity and reliability tests), mean while, the AMOS program was used for executing statistical technique analysis, namely Structural Equation Model (SEM). Test of pre-research has been conducted in order to know the validity of the measurement tools in functioning the measurement function and the reliability of the research data. The validity and reliability tests are based on the collected data received from the consumer respondents through distributing questionnaires addressed to 30 consumer respondents.From this research model, it is expected that the relation among variables in conjunction with observing reciprocal effects between brand equity and brand extension can be explained. Through SEM, the researcher can observe the fitness of the model with empirical data, and also the researcher knows the causal relation among the constructed or observed factors in the model. The results of this research indicated that (1) Brand awareness has no influence upon brand equity (hypothesis is rejected); (2) Perceived quality has influence upon brand equity (hypothesis is accepted); (3) Brand association has no influence upon brand equity (hypothesis is rejected); (4) Brand equity has influence upon brand extension (hypothesis is accepted); and (5) Brand extension has no influence upon brand equity (hypothesis is rejected).

Abstract

Pasar modal dipakai sebagai alternatif bagi pemodal melakukan investasi selain melalui perbankan. Hal ini diharapkan mampu mengubah pola pikir masyarakat yaitu bahwa melakukan investasi tidak semata-mata melalui lembaga perbankan dengan cara membuka deposito dan/atau menabung. PKM (Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat) merupakan kegiatan dengan tujuan memberikan pengetahuan serta pemahaman awal pasar modal ke masyarakat semenjak usia muda, memberikan pengetahuan dan pem-bekalan dasar pasar modal ke masyarakat sejak muda serta memberikan pengetahuan praktis tentang investasi dan produk-produk investasi pasar modal kepada publik sejak usia muda, sehingga akan terjadi perubahan pola pikir dalam melakukan investasi yang selanjutnya dapat menambah jumlah pemodal pasar modal Indonesia, khususnya di Surabaya, dan di akhirnya mampu meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat.

Abstract

Melalui Program “Peningkatan Kesejahteraan Masyarakat Kawula Muda Kota Surabaya Melalui GIBEI STIESIA Surabaya” dapat ditingkatkan jumlah kepemilikan Rekening Efek (RE) di Surabaya, sehingga terdapat penambahan jumlah pemodal Surabaya yang turut serta meramaikan pasar modal Indonesia. Jumlah pemilik RE Surabaya sangatlah kecil, 1,119 % dari jumlah penduduk Surabaya. Kondisi tersebut berdampak pada mitra kerja: GIBEI STIESIA–tidak mudahnya mendapatkan pemodal lokal yang berpengaruh pada kinerja GIBEI STIESIA. Permasalahan diselesaikan dengan memberikan sosialisasi & edukasi pasar modal kepada masyarakat umum, terutama kawula muda (mahasiswa, pelajar). Kepada mereka diperlukan pemahaman sejak dini, sehingga saat mereka terjun ke masyarakat, siap melakukan investasi pasar modal. Setelah mengenali pasar modal, mereka akhirnya menyadari manfaatnya, sehingga akhirnya bersedia melakukan investasi pasar modal untuk mendapatkan kesejahteraan. Semakin banyak masyarakat melakukan investasi pasar modal, akan tercapai kesejahteraan masyarakat, di samping itu industri pasar modal Indonesia menjadi semakin besar untuk disetarakan pasar modal Asia Pasifik. Output kegiatan: bertambahnya jumlah RE masyarakat Surabaya, khususnya kalangan mahasiswa pelajar, sehingga dapat menaikkan kinerja GIBEI STIESIA. Outcome: semakin sejahteranya masyarakat Surabaya dengan melakukan investasi dimaksud, serta dapat dikatakan masyarakat Surabaya berkontribusi dalam menyemarakkan industri pasar modal, khususnya Surabaya.

Abstract

Entrepreneur is something that has an important role in improving the economy and especially the welfare of a person or group of people. The focus of someone's desire to become an entrepreneur is because of a motivation, both internal and external. This existing motivation has a role so that entrepreneurs can run the business according to expectations, this sustainability certainly needs to be supported not only in terms of soft skills but also hard skills that need to be provided. The purpose of this service is to provide training in increasing understanding regarding business ethics, so that activities or activities that are already running can be better due to understanding and practice in the form of following norms or rules related to business ethics. The implementation method used in this study: preparation or outreach, training and mentoring. The results of this study are that MSME actors can utilize and apply business ethics in improving business so that a goal can be achieved in the form of continuous prosperity and sustainability.
