Abstract

This research, aimed at evaluating the implementation of strategic program in facing the national examination in MTsN model Padang. The subject of this research is the IX grade teachers and IX students. They are 36 teachers and students all together. Those teacher teach math, English, Indonesian, and science. Meanwhile, the samples from students were taken by using random sampling and 60 of the students was used as samples. Questionnaire, wawancara and documentation was used to collect the data and was analyzed by using descriptive statistics. The result of this research shows that (1) the teachers pedagogy knowledge was considered good. 58,33% of the teacher had a good pedagogy knowledge. (2) KKG program was considered as a very good program. 61,11% had a very good participation. (3) the teachers also gave an efficient material to the students and used efficiently. 47,22% of the teachers used the time efficiently. (4) the program ran well. 93,33% of the students said the advising was good. (5) it was indicated by the increasing of the students’ try out result. (6) the teacher who responsible for the program did their job well. 55,56% is very good

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the Tabarak Method in memorizing the Qur'an in Mataba Raudhatu Tilawtil Qur'an Dumai, as well as to determine the inhibiting and supporting factors in implementing the Tabarak Method in Mataba Raudhatu Tilawatil Qur'an Dumai. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation, and documentation. The source of data comes from teachers as many as 2 people guiding the Tabarak method at the institution. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research findings provide the following explanation: 1) In Mataba Raudhatu Tilawatil Qur'an Dumai, learning activities using the Tabarak method to memorize the Koran are led by the school principal and teachers who have attended several special trainings related to learning using the Tabarak method. The rote muraja'ah routine is followed by murattal audio in the form of MP3s which have been distributed to each santri. This media can also be used for muraja'ah activities at home with parents of students, and activities at this school also use other learning media such as; Speakers, Television, and others; 2) the supporting factors in the implementation of this learning are the role of the teacher as a fun educator for children who also have good tahsin and mastery of memorization, adequate facilities, and good cooperation from student parents and teachers in memorizing the Al Quran; 3) The inhibiting factors for this activity are the lack of focus of the child due to the child playing in class, the child being late or not coming to school, the lack of supervision of the student's guardian due to busyness outside the home, and there are still teachers who are not licensed. These findings have implications, indicating that student learning systems must be strengthened by school administrators and implementation teams. Teachers are also required to improve parenting skills and use creative and innovative learning strategies.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the types of evaluation that can be carried out by educators to determine students' cognitive and non-cognitive competencies. The method used in this research is library research in which the main data source is obtained from books, articles and scientific journals related to types of learning evaluations in Islamic religious education. The result of this research is to find out the types of learning evaluations for Islamic religious education that can be used to improve the teaching and learning process that is currently being carried out or has already been carried out.

Abstract

This research aims to explain how to compile knowledge assessment instruments (cognitive), including tests consisting of objective tests, essay tests, matchmaking tests, true false tests and also how to score in each type of cognitive tests. The method used in this paper is the library research method. The literature method is a research method carried out by obtaining data from various sources, including books in libraries, magazines or documents related to the topic discussed. The results of the study concluded that the cognitive realm is a process of knowledge that is more based on its development from perception, introspection or memory of students. According to Bloom, cognitive learning objectives are developed at six levels: knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis and evaluation. To determine the ability of students according to the levels in cognitive learning objectives, a measuring tool is needed, namely tests. Tests in this cognitive realm include objective tests, description tests, matchmaking tests and true false tests.
