Abstract

The good performance of the legislature in this autonomy era is a necessity and necessity so that the institution can carry out its duties, authority and rights accountably, be more responsive and reliable. Good performance is certainly influenced by ability, leadership and work motivation and discipline of the board members themselves. On the basis of these reasons the authors are interested in discussing and knowing how the Effect of Ability and Motivation on the Performance of Banjarmasin City DPRD Members. This study aims to be able to describe the ability, work motivation and performance, then analyze the influence of work ability and motivation on the performance of Banjarmasin City DPRD Members then analyze the influence of the dominant variables between work ability and motivation dominant influence on the performance of Banjarmasin City DPRD Members.The analytical tool used in this study is to use used validity and reliability testing tools for the data, reliability testing was carried out by Cronbach Alpha test. To find out the influence between Ability (X1), Motivation (X2) and Performance (Y), simultaneous regression analysis methods are used as follows: Ability Test Results (X1), Motivation (X2) on Performance (Y) simultaneously on DPRD Members Banjarmasin. The analysis used is Linear Regression and tested using a distribution table.Based on the results of the research results, it can be stated that simultaneously it is known that for Ability t count = 2.914 *> t (45; 0.05) = 1.679 is significant and for Motivation t count = 0.944ns <t (45; 0.05) = 1.679 which means that work ability has a significant effect on the performance of Banjarmasin City DPRD members, while non-significant work motivation means ability and motivation can affect performance even though there are motivational variables that cannot influence the performance of Banjarmasin City DPRD members. Work ability is the variable that has the dominant influence on the performance of Banjarmasin City DPRD members, because based on the results of the ability test, motivation on performance simultaneously on members of Banjarmasin City DPRD, it is known that the ability variable has the most dominant influence, compared to the motivation variable.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to measure the Locus of Control, Self-Efficacy, and Adversity Quotient of owners or managers on the performance of Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes), which have a similar condition as Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (SME). The number of research samples is 53 respondents. Data were analyzed using multiple regression. The results showed that Locus of Control (2,080), Self-Efficacy (2,085), Adversity Quotient (5,162) had a positive and partially significant effect on Business Performance. Locus of control, Self-Efficacy, and Adversity Quotient have a positive and significant impact simultaneously on Business Performance (183,523). Adversity quotient has the most dominant effect on Business Performance compared to Locus of Control and Self-Efficacy. These results indicate that high adversity intelligence encourages business performance by utilizing limited capital, capabilities, labor, networks, markets, opportunity.Keywords: locus of control, self-efficacy, adversity quotient, business performance, BUMDes.Pengaruh Locus of Control, Self-Efficacy, dan Adversity Quotient Terhadap Kinerja UsahaAbstrakPenelitian ini mengukur Locus of Control, Self-Efficacy, dan Adversity Quotient pemilik atau manajer terhadap kinerja Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) yang hampir sama kondisinya dengan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM). Jumlah sampel penelitian 53 orang. Data dianalisis menggunakan regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Locus of Control 2,080, Self-Efficacy 2,085, Adversity Quotient 5,162 berpengaruh positif dan signifikan secara parsial terhadap Kinerja Usaha. Locus of control, Self-Efficacy, dan Adversity Quotient berpengaruh positif dan signifikan secara simultan terhadap Kinerja Usaha 183,523. Adversity quotient berpengaruh paling dominan terhadap Kinerja Usaha dibandingkan Locus of Control dan Self-Efficac. Artinya kecerdasan adversitas yang tinggi mampu mendorong peningkatan kinerja usaha yang dijalankan dengan memanfaatkan keterbatasan modal, kemampuan, tenaga kerja, jaringan, pasar, dsb tetapi sebaliknya menjadi daya dorong untuk makin cerdas dalam melihat peluang dan meraih kesempatan-kesempatan.Kata kunci: locus of control, self-efficacy, adversity quotient, kinerja Usaha, BUMDes

Abstract

Kesenjangan gender masih terjadi di berbagai bidang pembangunan, salah satunya di bidang ekonomi. Pemahaman gender saat ini banyak dipengaruhi oleh budaya lokal dan dibangun dari pemikiran yang tidak tepat dan mengakibatkan munculnya praktik diskriminatif dan kekerasan di masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, harus ada pemahaman yang benar dan tepat tentang kesetaraan dan keadilan gender. Pemahaman tersebut dapat terus dilembagakan di semua lapisan masyarakat, termasuk Perguruan Tinggi dalam melaksanakan Tri Dharma. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan peran Universitas dalam memfasilitasi bimbingan teknis dengan menggunakan Strategi Pengarusutamaan Gender. Selain itu juga memberikan pembekalan, pelatihan, dan pendampingan bagi Mahasiswa pionir wirausaha yang berperan sebagai agen informasi, edukasi, dan komunikasi melalui Strategi Pengarusutamaan Gender dalam pembangunan nasional, khususnya pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat. Pendekatan Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) digunakan dalam pengabdian ini. Peserta, 25 Mahasiswa dari enam perguruan tinggi di Banjarmasin, difasilitasi menerapkan PRA untuk merencanakan, melaksanakan, memantau, dan mengevaluasi Kegiatan Kewirausahaan Mahasiswa berbasis gender. Alhasil, penyusunan program Kegiatan Kewirausahaan Mahasiswa yang responsif gender di Banjarmasin berhasil menumbuhkan kesadaran kuat Mahasiswa bahwa PRA adalah alat untuk mewujudkan pemberdayaan ekonomi. The gender gap still exists in the economic field. The current gender understanding is heavily influenced by local culture and built from inappropriate thinking, resulting in discriminatory practices and violence. Therefore, there must be a right and proper understanding of gender equality and equality.  The understanding can continue to be institutionalized in society through all levels, including Universities’ role in implementing the Tri Dharma. This study aimed to increase the University’s role in facilitating technical guidance for entrepreneurial pioneer students through Gender Mainstreaming Strategy in national development, especially community economic empowerment. A Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) was used to facilitate 25 students from six universities in Banjarmasin in planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating the Student Entrepreneurship Activities based on gender-oriented entrepreneurship. As a result, the preparation of programs for gender-responsive Student Entrepreneurship Activities in Banjarmasin has succeeded in raising students' strong awareness that PRA is a tool for realizing economic empowerment.

Abstract

All organizations strive to achieve their goals to the fullest. Organizational goals can be achieved with good employee performance. Employee performance is influenced by communication and motivation. To analyze the effect of communication and motivation on employee performance at the Tuwuh Sari Cooperative, Angsana District, Tanah Bumbu Regency, it is necessary to do. The research method uses quantitative methods. The population of this research is the employees of the Tuwuh Sari Cooperative. The sampling technique used is the census. The sample of this study amounted to 40 employees. data collection using questionnaires. Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that communication and motivation affected the performance of the employees of the Tuwuh Sari Cooperative, Angsana District, Tanah Bumbu Regency. Motivation has a dominant effect on the performance of the employees of the Tuwuh Sari Cooperative. However, these two variables have a significant effect on employee performance. Thus, it is suggested that communication and motivation need to be improved because these two variables improve employee performance.

Abstract

Ketersediaan sumberdaya yang melimpah di berbagai daerah di Indonesia memunculkan berbagai potensi produk dan bahkan di beberapa daerah, produk tersebut menjadi unggulan dan menjadi sumber mata pencaharian utama masyarakat setempat . Namun sayangnya, ketersediaan sumber daya yang melimpah tidak menjamin keberhasilan dalam pengembangan produk unggulan daerah. Belum diterapkannya manajemen strategis yang baik dalam proses pengembangan, sistem pemasaran, ijin usaha, kemasan/tampilan produk, promosi, informasi, bahan baku, permodalan dan berbelitnya layanan birokrasi untuk Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (UKM) diindikasi menyebabkan produk unggulan belum dapat dikembangkan secara maksimal. Penerapan manajemen strategis dalam pengembangan produk unggulan keluran menjadi alternatif dari berbagai permasalahan yang terjadi dalam pengebangan produk unggulan desa di Indonesia. Agar masyarakat lebih memahami tentang penerapan manajemen strategis didalam mengembangkan produk unggulan desa maka dilakukanlah penyuluhan kepada para wirausahawan(i) di Kecamatan Loksado dengan tujuan menambah pengetahuan, wawasan, serta pemahaman para wirausahawan(i) sebagai motor penggerak masyarakat didalam peningkatan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Khalayak sasaran dari pengabdian ini yaitu para wirausahawan(i) di Kecamatan Loksado. Biaya pengabdian diperoleh dari STIMI Banjarmasin. Pengabdian telah dilakukan pada tanggal 27 Agustus 2018 yang bertempat di Kecamatan Loksado yang diikuti oleh 22 wirausahawan(i) Dari hasil evaluasi diperoleh manfaat dari kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu diantaranya meningkatkan Pengetahuan dan pemahaman wirausahawan(i) Kecamatan Loksado dalam mengembangkan produk unggulan desa melalui penerapan manajemen strategis. Kegiatan pengabdian ini berjalan lancar karena dukungan terutama partisipasi dan antusiasme peserta dalam mengikuti kegiatan penyuluhan. Kegiatan penyuluhan ini hendaknya dilakukan pada sasaran yang lebih luas dan materinya dapat dikembangkan pada penerapan Manajemen Strategis di berbagai produk UMKM. Dengan Demikian diharapkan kelak dapat membantu para wirausahawan(i) dalam mengembangkan produk unggulan desa di Kecamatan Loksado sehingga dapat membantu dalam pemberdayaan Masyarakat.

Abstract

A Gender-Based Entrepreneurship Education for BUMDes administrators of Karang Bunga Village, Mandastana District, Barito Kuala in South Kalimantan. This  activity aims to build the community empowerment, especially women in the economic field through the growth and development of skills activities so that they have the ability and competitiveness in employment and economic ventures. The PRA (Participatory Rulai Apraisah) method had been used in implementing this activity. The results reveal that some people of Karang Bunga Village, Mandastana District, Barito Kuala in South Kalimantan, especially women have basic skills about entrepreneurship as the basic capital to find work or open a new business, and there is a community formation to open new businesses based on local potentials with a gender perspective.

Abstract

Human resource development in the home industry sector is mostly done by human resources with limited resources but have the will to be able to produce and have an impact on family and community economic resources. Mothers who are pioneers of productive economy in this pioneering are generally still weak in their capacity and capability in developing business, both in terms of business management in general, financial management, production management, marketing management, to human resource management itself in order to explore the deepest potential possessed. Abstract

Human resources (HR) are crucial in all facets of life. Institutional responsibilities are part of the effort required to provide public services. This study aimed to assess the public services provided by all local government working units (SKPD), technical implementing units (UPT), and local companies (Perusda) in Banjarmasin. Measuring public services helps determine the public's concern and allows the community to participate in how well human resources of government apparatus do their jobs and responsibilities for all citizens. The study method was a survey of 700 people in the community who have used public services in different categories and fields in 2021. This study showed that the quality and quantity of public services the Banjarmasin municipal government offers have improved. It also showed that public service personnel's (human resources of government apparatus) professionalism has improved and that those served care about the facilities required for public administration to function. This implied how the Banjarmasin municipal government managed public services through the human resources or government apparatus on each SKPD/UPT/Perusda positively impacted the society receiving the service.
