Abstract

Manajemen data dosen di Universitas XYZ masih menggunakan metode konvensional, yakni dengan melakukan pengarsipan pada berkas masing-masing dosen. Penambahan berkas baru pada arsip dilakukan secara manual dengan menggandakan dokumen tersebut kemudian menambahkannya pada arsip dosen yang bersangkutan. Metode ini memiliki banyak kelemahan, yakni pegawai sulit untuk memperoleh berkas tertentu secara cepat dan harus mencarinya secara langsung pada ruang penyimpanan arsip. Selain itu, metode konvensional tersebut memiliki banyak keterbatasan lainnya seperti kesulitan pimpinan untuk mendapatkan statistik dosen berdasarkan kategori tertentu saat proses monitoring dan evaluasi. Pengembangan sistem manajemen data dosen yang diusulkan diharapkan dapat memberikan kemudahan dalam akses data dosen secara cepat dan dimana saja. Hal ini dapat dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan media internet melalui aplikasi berbasis website. Laravel merupakan framework pengembangan aplikasi website yang menawarkan kemudahan perancangan dan keamanan aplikasi, sehingga sangat cocok untuk digunakan dalam pengembangan sistem manajemen data dosen Universitas XYZ. Sistem manajemen data dosen yang dibangun diharapkan dapat memberikan kemudahan pengolahan data dosen oleh pegawai maupun akses informasi data dosen yang cepat, kapanpun, dan dimanapun oleh seluruh stakeholder di lingkungan Universitas XYZ. Di samping itu juga dapat memberikan gambaran umum keadaan dosen saat ini, sehingga dapat memudahkan pimpinan universitas dalam melakukan pengawasan dan merumuskan kebijakan terkait dengan karir dosen serta upaya peningkatan kompetensi dosen di masa depan.

Abstract

The selection of an ecotourism destination is a challenging service in an online transaction. The process must consider personal considerations, such as costs or distance and interesting eco-points like specific sceneries or the rare and unique picturesque landscapes. Only a few tourists have such required information for any particular local resources. A proposed recommender system is a solution for tourists to get advice on appropriate ecotourism destinations based on sentiments according to their preferences. This work proposed the skyline query method based on the Skyline Sort Filter algorithm in the Apache Spark cluster computing framework to build recommendations. The sentiment analysis process using the SentiStrength algorithm obtain an accuracy of 78.3% and F-arithmetic of 84.5%. These results indicate the proposed recommender system can detect positive responses from visitors to ensure best ecotourism recommendations with positive sentiments for tourist. Apache Spark with three computer nodes has 213.7 times faster execution time on correlated data, 240 times faster on independent data, and 288.1 times faster on anti-correlated data than a single computing method.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a predictive model to identify individuals with a high potential to become car buyers, employing logistic regression algorithm. The primary objective is to support the automotive industry in devising more efficient and focused marketing strategies. The choice of logistic regression is based on its superiority in handling categorical dependent variables and its practicality in result interpretation. The data processed in this study derive from demographic information, consumption habits, brand preferences, and various other factors that influence car buying decisions. The main data source is the outcome of online surveys participated in by individuals predicted to have the potential to buy a car within the next 12 months. The analysis results indicate that factors such as income, age, previous vehicle ownership status, gender and marriage status play significant roles in predicting the likelihood of someone becoming a car buyer. The developed model achieved an accuracy and precision of 95%, proving its significant capability in identifying potential car buyers with a high success rate. These findings provide valuable insights for the automotive industry in formulating more targeted and efficient marketing strategies, as well as contributing to the academic literature on the application of logistic regression in consumer behavior prediction.

Abstract

The attendance system is an important thing that is used to assess employee performance. Currently, many companies or organizations have developed attendance systems, but there are still many organizations that have not optimized attendance with a reliable system. This happens at the Palu City Tourism Office, where attendance still uses manual recording in album books. Many problems occur with the manual attendance process, so it is necessary to create an attendance system. This research aims to help the Palu City Tourism Office for attendance management by using face recognition technology using the Single Shot Detector (SSD) algorithm. The system development model uses Waterfall. This research uses 20 different facial poses with four people each with 5 poses. This research uses javascript programming language, Next JS framework, tailwind CSS, PostgreSQL database, and face-api.js library. Tests carried out with blackbox results all features on the system function properly then based on the results of face detection testing, the test results obtained that the Single Shot Detector algorithm can detect facial images recorded on the camera quickly and accurately in medium and bright lighting with a distance of 40-80 cm.  The result of this research is a system that can recognize faces well by matching the training data image with the face image recorded on the camera in realtime

Abstract

This study presents a comprehensive exploratory data analysis (EDA) of transaction data within the Transjakarta public transportation system, focusing on routes, passenger flow, and congestion patterns. Leveraging tap-in and tap-out transaction records collected through payment cards, the research aims to provide actionable insights for optimizing operational efficiency and enhancing service quality. By analyzing transaction data, the study identifies busy routes, peak hours, and passenger distribution across different modes of transportation, including big bus (BRT), medium and big bus (non-BRT), and mini-bus (Mikrotrans). Moreover, the research investigates correlations between transaction volume and traffic congestion levels, enabling the identification of areas prone to delays and bottlenecks. The findings of this analysis offer valuable information for route planning, scheduling adjustments, and infrastructure improvements within the Transjakarta system. By optimizing resources based on data-driven insights, the study seeks to contribute to the enhancement of public transportation services, promoting accessibility, reliability, and sustainability in urban mobility.

Abstract

Implementing a digital-based hazardous work licensing management system at PT Citra Palu Minerals is intended to enhance the efficiency and transparency of the work permit process. The research methodology involves a qualitative approach, Agile methodology system development, and integration with WhatsApp for notifications. The research findings indicate that this system simplifies the submission, approval, and monitoring of work permits in a structured manner, thereby reducing the risk of work accidents. Black box testing demonstrates that the system's performance meets expectations, while the questionnaire results indicate a high level of user satisfaction with an average score of 4.3 out of 5. Implementing this system can serve as a model for enhancing occupational safety and health management in similar industries.

Abstract

Every company certainly needs an information system for ease of work management in a company organization. As in the problems faced by the company PT. Oti Eya Abadi who needs an information system that can create and print company cash as efficiently as possible so that leaders and employees who manage the company's financial cash do not make manual formats in excel anymore and obtain cash data formats automatically from the information system. In order to achieve a sequential but still efficient system flow in the use of information systems, an analysis is made related to the business process flow of the information system with a description in the form of Business Process Modelling and Notation (BPMN). By describing BPMN, the creation of an information system can be made more directed in each access feature so that when the information system is completed it can be used with access that is easier for users to understand and more efficient in using an information system, including the financial information system of PT.
