Abstract

This research goals is to make an android app that uses accelerometer censor to prevent smartphone gets stolen and to use GPS to find the smartphone if it is getting stolen. The method used on this research is Rapid Application Development (RAD). Benefit of the research is to help preventing smartphone from getting stolen and to find it if it is stolen. This research is started by desigining UML. Then implemented with java using android studio and using firebase as the database. The program is tested using Black box Testing and real life test. According to the results, we can summarize that the writer has been able to design and make an alarm that can secure the phone and track it. Smartphone can and will make a sound if it is moved and can save it last position

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design a website that can retrieve attendance data from the fingerprnit machine and then save it to the database and then display it to the website. The problem that arises is, to retrieve data from a fingerprint machine, the computer is first installed an application provided by the fingerprint machine provider company to be able to retrieve data from the fingerprint machine. The author makes a website so that the process of retrieving data from the fingerprint machine can be done by accessing the website. Websites created by authors can only be accessed in the same network. The author describes the system processes that are running by using a use case diagram. Authors use activity diagrams to describe system workflows in applications. To describe the structure of a web application, the author uses the Entity Relationship Diagram. The author uses the blackbox method for testing applications. The results of this study the author managed to design and create a website that can retrieve data from the fingerprint machine.

Abstract

This research aims to build a computerized Management system of college student thesis by using Model View Controller concept at STMIK KHARISMA Makassar. For that aims, it is proposed to use CodeIgniter Framework, where framework Codeigniter use MVC (Model,View,Controller) method to separates between Model (data logic) from View (presentation logic) and Controller (process logic) so that the application development using MVC concept can be more structured. Based on research result, the author has managed to build a software application of college student thesis Management by using MVC concept inSTMIK Kharisma Makassar. This Application can be used by Prodi and final exam committee to manage STMIK Kharisma Makassar college student thesis and make college student more easy to submit thesis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem pemantau kesehatan pasien berbasis jaringan sensor nirkabel yang berbiaya rendah. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi literatur dan eksperimen prototipe di laboratorium software engineering STMIK KHARISMA Makassar. Untuk memantau kondisi kesehatan pasien secara berkala dari jarak jauh, prototipe sistem pemantau kesehatan berbasis jaringan sensor nirkabel yang dirancang dapat digunakan. Prototipe node sensor terdiri dari Arduino nano, modul komunikasi NRF24L01, sensor detak/pulse, sensor temperatur DS18B20, dan baterai sebagai sumber energi node. Sedangkan node sink/gateway disusun dari Arduino Uno, NRF24L01 dan modul timer RTC. Dari hasil evaluasi penginderaan node sensor diperoleh data detak jantung responden orang dewasa dengan kondisi sehat berkisar 62-71 BPM dan suhu tubuh sekitar 34-35 derajat Celcius. Rata-rata persentase perbedaan relatif terhadap pengukuran menggunakan alat manual atau tanpa menggunakan prototipe untuk sepuluh sampel data detak jantung yaitu 3,37%, dan data temperatur sebesar 2,48%.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah agar website terindeks pada mesin pencarian dan mendapatkan lalu lintas pengunjung. Workers adalah website penyedia lowongan pekerjaan yang penggunanya dapat memilih pekerjaan sesuai dengan preferensi mereka. Dalam perilisannya terdapat masalah yang dialami pengelola website Workers yakni tidak terindeksnya website pada mesin pencarian google yang mengakibatkan tidak adanya trafik pengunjung pada website. Masalah ini didasarkan pada data yang dikumpulkan secara kuantitatif melalui tools online seperti Google Analytics dan Google Search Console. Maka digunakan teknik SEO untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Dari hasil pengamatan dalam penelitian yang dilakukan, visitor organic website workers meningkat secara signifikan yang awalnhya hanya 17 pencarian organic search pada saat awal sebelum diterapkannya whitehat SEO dapat meningkat hingga 84 orang dari hasil penggunaan SEO whitehat selama 3 bulan yang penggunanya berupa pencarian dari organic search. Meskipun begitu peringkat website pada search engine Google belum optimal karena dipengaruhi tingkat persaingan yang tinggi pada kata kunci yang diterapkan.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi usability pada website IoTHome menggunakan metode System Usability Scale untuk mengetahui sejauh mana tingkat kemudahan pengguna dalam menggunakan website IoTHome. System Usability Scale merupakan alat pengukuran yang dapat digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat usability pada sebuah sistem. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner sebagai media pengumpulan data, kuesioner akan disebarkan sebanyak 10 pertanyaan dengan menggunakan google form. Penulis berharap dengan adanya penelitian ini bisa dijadikan acuan perbaikan dan pengembangan website IoTHome. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan SUS didapatkan nilai rata-rata Usability pada website IoTHome dengan skor 73,75 yang menunjukkan bahwa website IoTHome pada fitur pembelian produk dalam kategori GOOD.

Abstract

Hi Jobs! is a mobile application that will help people find work because it provides various information concerning job vacancies. This application is still relatively new and has never been tested before. However, this application already has several criticisms and suggestions from users regarding problems that had occurred when using the Hi Jobs! application. The problems that occurred were related to aspects of application usability. Therefore, usability testing is needed to determine the effectiveness, efficiency and user satisfaction when using the Hi Jobs! application using Performance Measurement and Concurrent Think Aloud techniques. The test was conducted on 20 participants who were divided into two categories, advanced and novice. The results of the study showed that advanced participants had a success rate of 96% with a total of one failed task, while novice participants had a success rate of 89% with a total of four failed tasks. The average time for participants in the advanced category was 30 seconds and the novice category was 37 seconds. Based on the results of interviews conducted, there were problems with 4 application features of the Hi Jobs! application. In conclusion, this application was very effective but it was not efficient nor has it meet user satisfaction because there are some features that are difficult to find. Therefore, recommendations for improvement have been made based on the received criticisms and suggestions to meet user satisfaction.
