Abstract

The purpose of this classroom action research is to know about learning activity and to improve the learning result of class V student’s learning on GCD and LCM subject in SD Negeri 2 Bone-Bone through the application of the problem-solving approach. This research is carried out in the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Instruments used in the form of Tests, to measure the level of achievement of learning outcomes conducted by students and observation sheets, to determine the increase in student and teacher activity. The target of learning mastery is 75%. The result data showed that the improvement of learning outcomes is reflected from the achievement of KKM in the initial test of 36%, increasing in the first cycle to 72%, and increasing in the second cycle to 88%. There is an increase in student activity from the first cycle of 65% (active enough) to 90% (very active) in the second cycle. There is an increase in teacher activity from the first cycle of 71.11% (good) to 93.33% (excellent) in the second cycle. Based on the results of the study concluded that the application of problem-solving approach in learning can improve student learning outcomes and activities of students and teachers in learning mathematics.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan model pembelajaran knisley terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 4 Baubau pada semester 1 Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif model eksperimen. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan instrument penelitian berupa tes kepada kedua kelompok, untuk mengukur kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa pada materi operasi hitung campuran bilangan bulat. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial dalam bentuk uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh: (1) Rata-rata nilai kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 4 Baubau dalam menyelesaikan soal operasi hitung bilangan bulat yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Knisley adalah 73,22 lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan yang diajar tanpa menggunakan model pembelajaran Knisley yang nilai rata-ratanya yaitu 67,94. (2) Model pembelajaran Knisley lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan tanpa menggunakan model pembelajaran Knisley terhadap hasil belajar matematika SMP Negeri 4 Baubau.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to determine the effect of the Course Review Horay learning strategy on student mathematics learning outcomes in grade VII at SMP Negeri 15 Baubau.This study was a Quasi-Experiment study. The implementation of the Course Review Horay learning strategy was randomized or selected by randomsampling technique. The population in this study was all grade VII students of SMP Negeri 15 Baubau whuch consisted of 2 classes. Population as well sample, the selected sample in this study was class VII A as the experimental class as many as 17 students and class B as the control class as many as 17 students. The data collection technique in this study was a test and data analysis process used the t test.The results of calculations used the t test obtained =2.352. For the t tabel value at the significance level of 0.05 (5%) and df=32, namely 1.693. Based on these results thus the hypothesis was accepted. It could be concnique that there was a significant effect of the Course Review Horay learning strategy on the mathematics learning outcomes of student in gradeVII at SMP Negeri 15 Baubau.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the significant positive effect of learning discipline on the mathematics learning outcomes of seventh grade students at SMP Negeri 3 Baubau. This research used ex post facto method whit quantitative research type. The population in this research were all seventh grade student at SMP Negeri 3 Baubau which consisted 8 classes whit a total of 243 students. While the sample in this research war 35% of the population or as many as 85. Data collection using questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used prerequisite test, with simple correlation and regression analysis. Hypothesis testing technique using regression analysis. Sourced from the results of data analysis and a simple regression estimate of disciplinary assessment (X) on learning outcomes (Y) resulted in a significance value of 0.036 < 0.05. So that it could be concluded that there was an influence of discipline (independents variable) on learning outcomes (bound variable). SPSS output results also produce R2 was 0.052. this showed the magnitude of the influence of discipline on learning outcomes was a much as 5.2%. According to the equation of the formulation of a simple regression analysis was Y = 53.029 + 0.164X, it could be seen that the discipline variable at the 1% level was better, the student learning outcomes would increase by 0.164. Thus, based on the hypothesis that could be taken, there was a significant positive effect of learning discipline on the mathematics learning outcomes of seventh grade student at SMP Negeri 3 Baubau

Abstract

The objective of this research was to find out the improvement of students’ mathematical communication ability through learning model of reciprocal teaching at class VII-B Of SMP Negeri 2 Bonegunu. This research was a classroom action research. The population in this research was all grade VII students of SMP Negeri 2 Bonegunu as many as 63 students and the sample was class VII-B students of SMP Negeri 2 Bonegunu whose number was 31 students. The instruments of this research were an observation sheet and a test of students’ mathematical communication ability. Based on the research outcome. It obtained the score of teacher’s activity was 88.24% and students’ activity was 70,58% which was implemented. At cycle II, the teacher’s acthivity which was implemented was 97,06% and students’ activity was 91,18%. The result of students’ mathematical communication ability indicated that there was not any student who got a score of ≥65. The test result at cycle I Indicated that students’ mathematical communication ability was 70,97% (22 students) got a score of ≥ 65 with the mean score was 70,84. The result of posttest at cycle II indicated that students whose score ≥ 65 were 26 students (88,87%) with the mean score were 77,87. Of those result, it was obtained the conclusion that students’ mathematical communication ability at class VII-B of SMP Negeri 2 Bonegunu could be improved by apllying the reciprocal teaching model.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pembelajaran Guide Inquiry dan contekstual teaching and learning (ctl) efektif ditinjau dari prestasi belajar persamaan diferensial, berpikir kreatif, dan rasa ingin tahu (curiosity) mahasiswa pendidikan matematika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (quasi experiment). Adapun desain yang digunakan adalah pretest-posttest nonequivalent comparison-group design. Lokasi penelitian di program studi pendidikan matematika FKIP, Universitas Dayanu Ikhsanuddin Baubau selama 1 tahun di Tahun akademik 2018/2019. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa pendidikan matematika yang memprogram mata kuliah persamaan diferensial yang terdiri dari 2 kelas. Sampel dalam penelian ini adalah seluruh populasi. Dari 2 kelas yang tersedia dipilih secara acak kelas yang menggunakan model pelmbelajaran, terpilih kelas A sebanyak 32 orang menggunakan model Guided Inquiry dan kelas B 31 orang yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Contektual Teaching and learning. Dari kedua kelas tersebut diberi instrumen pretest dan posttest. Untuk menguji keefektifan pembelajaran digunakan uji one sample t-test; untuk menguji perbedaan keefektifan menggunakan uji MANOVA (multivariate tests); dan untuk mengetahui pembelajaran mana yang lebih efektif menggunakan uji independent sample t-test. Berdasarkan hasil uji independent sample t-test nilai signifikan Prestasi belajar 0,033 < 0,05, Kemampuan berpikir kritis 0,000 < 0,05, dan Curiousity 0,133 < 0,05. Berdasakan data-data tersebut H0­ ditolak atau dengan kata lain pembelajaran guided inquiry lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran Contekstual Teaching and Learning (CTL) ditinjau dari aspek Prestasi Belajar Persamaan Diferensial, Berpikir Kreatif, dan Rasa Ingin Tahu Mahasiswa Tahun Akademik 2018/2019.

Abstract

Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas pembelajaran Google Classroom ditinjau dari kemampuan penalaran matematika siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 5 Baubau. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasy Experiment. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 5 Baubau yang terdiri dari 8 kelas. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling terpilih kelas X MIA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen sebanyak 28 siswa dan kelas X MIA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol sebanyak 28 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian menggunakan tes dan analisis data menggunakan uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil penghitungan dengan menggunakan independent samples t test diperoleh nilai thitung sebesar 3,455. Untuk nilai ttabel pada taraf signifikansi 0,05 (5%) dan db= 54 yaitu 1,673. Berdasarkan nilai thitung> ttabel maka di terima. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan Google Classroom terdapat perbedaan/efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan penalaran matematika siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 5 Baubau.

Abstract

Problem statement of the research was whether cooperative learning model of Jigsaw type was effective viewed from students’ learning motivation in Math at VII grade of SMP Negeri 5 Batauga. The objective of the research was to know the effectiveness of cooperative learning model of Jigsaw type viewed from students’ learning motivation in Math at VII grade of SMP Negeri 5 Batauga. This research was a quantitative research. The research using quasi experimental design. Population of the research was all students of VII grade of SMP Negeri 5 Batauga in odd semester, academic year 2021/2022. There were two classes with the total number of student was 39 students. Sample of the research was all students, which were class VII A as experimental class which taught using Cooperative Learning model of Jigsaw type, and class B as a control class which taught using reguler learning model. Instrument of the research was a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques in this research used descriptive and inferential analysis. The result of the research showed that based on descriptive analysis, it was found that mean score of students’ motivation from experimental class and control class were 18,85 and 10,74. Based on inferential analysis, it could be seen that data was normal and homogeny. Learning motivation data was tested using independent sample test analysis. The result showed that students learning motivation which taught using cooperative learning model of Jigsaw type was in sig. 0.004˂0.05, it meant that H0 was rejected. From this result, it could be concluded that cooperative learning of Jigsaw type was effective viewed from studens’ learning motivation in Math at VII grade of SMP Negeri 5 Batauga.
