Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara langsung pengaruh kepadatan kandang dan penambahan jintan hitam  dalam ransum terhadap produksi karkas dan lemak abdominal ayam broiler. Manfaat penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui secara langsung pengaruh kepadatan kandang dengan penambahan jintan hitam terhadap produksi karkas dan lemak abdominal ayam broiler. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Febuari-April 2013 di KandangLaboratorium Produksi Ternak Unggas, Fakultas Peternakan dan Pertanian Universitas Diponegoro, Semarang. Materi yang digunakan adalah ayam broiler unsex dengan merk dagang CP 707 umur 8 harisebanyak 270 ekor dengan bobot badan rata-rata 163,12 ± 8,10 g.Bahan pakan yang digunakan adalah Bekatul,jagung, tepung ikan, meat bone meal, bungkil kedelai, tepung tapioka dan top mix.Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap pola faktorial 3x3 dengan 3 ulangan. Sebagai faktor pertama adalah kepadatan (K) yaitu kepadatan rendah (K1) dengan jumlah ayam 8 ekor/m2, sedang (K2) 10 ekor/m2 dan tinggi (K3) 12 ekor/m2. Faktor kedua adalah jintan hitam (J) yaitu penambahan jintan hitam sebesar 1%/kg ransum (J1), 2%/kg (J2) dan 3%/kg (J3). Parameter yang diamati adalah bobot badan akhir, bobot karkas dan lemak abdominal. Data dianalisis ragam menggunakan uji F dan dilanjutkan uji Duncan jika ada pengaruh perlakuan dengan bantuan software SPSS 16.Kepadatan 12 ekor/m² dengan penambahan jintan hitam 1%/kg sudah cukup untuk mengatasi stres akibat kepadatan kandang dan memberikan bobot akhir, bobot karkas dan lemak abdominal yang tidak berbeda.Kata kunci: ayam broiler; jintan hitam; kepadatan; karkas; lemak abdominal  ABSTRACT   This research aimed to determine effect of cage density and addition of black cumin as materials of ration compile on broiler carcas and abdominal fat. Benefits of this research are obtained level density and the addition of black cumin which gives a good production carcas and abdominal fat in broiler. The experiment was conducted in February - April 2013 in Poultry Production Laboratory, Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Agriculture, University of Diponegoro, Semarang. The material used were a broiler unsex 8 days old as 270 birds with an average body weight of 163,12 ± 8,10 g. Feed ingredients used are rice bran, corn, fish meal, meat bone meal, soybean meal, tapioca flour and top mix. The experimental design used was factorial design with 3x3 factorial and 3 replications. As the first factor is the density ( K ) is a low density ( K1 ) with the density of  8 birds/m2, medium ( K2 ) 10 birds/m2 and high ( K3 ) 12 birds/m2. The second factor were addition black cumin ( J ) is 1% black cumin/kg ration ( J1 ), 2%/ kg ( J2 ) and 3%/ kg ( J3 ). Parameters measured were the last weight, carcass weight and abdominal fat. Data were analyzed using a variety of F test and Duncan continued if there is the effect of treatment with the help of software SPSS 16. The conclusion is the use of level 1 % black cumin/kg with density 12 ekor/m²anoughtto surmount a stress due to density of cage until providethe last weight, carcass weight and abdominal fat optimal.Key words: broiler; black cumin; density; carcas; abdominal fat

Abstract

Productivity of Pelung chicken optimal must be supported by the provision of adequate food, both quality and quantity, to the feeding program should be carried out right on the pelung chicken as needed to serve as a guideline maintenance. The material used was 1 week old pelung chicken unsex as much as 96 tail that is placed on the 24 plots with a size of 60 x 60 x 70 cm, each row there are 4 chickens. Models of experimental design used was Randomized Complete Design (CRD) with 3 treatments ie T1 = treatment by administering Coarse Protein (PK) 18% for 3 weeks and PK 15% for 3 weeks; T2 = treated with PK 18% for 5 weeks and PK 15% for 5 weeks; and T3 = treatment with PK 18% for 7 weeks and then given PK 15% for 3 weeks and each of 8 replicates for each treatment. The parameters observed were feed intake, and feed rate. The data obtained were then analyzed using a variety of F test The results showed that the average of feed rate T1, T2 and T3 was 162.38 minutes 167.25 minutes and 156.83 minutes. The average consumption of protein T1, T2 and T3 32.23 grams, 31.38 grams and 33.02 grams. The average protein digestibility of 76.22% T1, T2 and T3 80.81% 78.93%. The analysis showed that the influence of different kinds of long periods of feeding and protein level and digestibility of feed protein, feed rate no significant effect (P> 0.05), while the fact protein intake is significantly effect (P> 0.05).Key words: pelung chicken, feeding, protein level, feed rate, protein intake, protein digestibility

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan tepung buah jambu biji merah dalam ransum terhadap pertumbuhan tulang ayam broiler. Ayam broiler umur 16 hari unsex strain MB 202 sebanyak 120 ekor dengan bobot rata – rata 389,33 ± 7,9 g. Dua puluh unit petak kandang dengan masing-masing unit berisi 6 ekor ayam. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap dengan 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan, T0 (kontrol) : ransum tanpa penggunaan tepung buah jambu biji merah; T1 : ransum dengan penggunaan tepung buah jambu biji merah 1,7%; T2 : ransum dengan penggunaan tepung buah jambi biji merah 3,4% ; T3 : ransum dengan penggunaan tepung buah jambu biji merah 5,1%; T4 : ransum dengan vitamin C 500 ppm. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan prosedur analisis ragam dengan uji F pada taraf 5 % dan apabila hasil analisis menunjukkan pengaruh perlakuan yang nyata akan dilanjutkan dengan uji wilayah ganda Duncan dengan program SAS versi 9.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan dengan penggunaan tepung buah jambu biji merah level 1,7% berpengaruh terhadap lingkar tulang tibia dan panjang tulang tarsometatarsus, namun tidak berpengaruh terhadap bobot hidup, panjang, berat, dan lingkar tulang femur, panjang, berat tulang tibia, berat dan lingkar tulang tarsometatarsus.Kata kunci : broiler, ransum, jambu biji merah, pertumbuhan tulangABSTRACT The goals of this study is to find out the utilization of red guava fruit meal in the diet on broiler bone growth. Broiler chickens at 16 days old unsex strain MB 202 ammount 120 with average weight 389,33 ± 7,9 g. Twenty unit cages with each unit placed 6 broiler chicken This research used completely randomized design with 5 treatments and 4 replications, T0 (control): rations without red guava fruit meal, T1: ration with red guava fruit meal 1,7%, T2: ration with red guava fruit meal 3,4%, T3: ration with red guava fruit meal 5,1%. The data obtained were analyzed using various analytical procedures F-test with level 5% and if the result of the analysis show that the real effect of treatment will be followed by Duncan's test with SAS program version 9.0. The results showed that treatment with red guava fruit meal 1,7% in the diet give effect to diameters of tibia bone and long of tarsometatarsus bone, but had not effected to live weight, long; diameter and weight of femur bone, long and weight of tibia bone, diameter and weight of tarsometatarsus bone.Key words: broiler, ration, red guava fruit, bone growth

Abstract

ABSTRAKSebuah penelitianbertujuan  untukmengetahui besarnya biaya produksi, penerimaan dan pendapatan usaha serta untuk mengetahui tingkat profitabilitas pada usaha peternakan ayam pedaging di Kecamatan Cluwak Kabupaten Pati. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode wawancara dan observasi (pengamatan). Jenis data dikumpulkan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer diperoleh melalui pengamatan langsung dan hasil wawancara dengan menggunakan kuesioner mengenai aspek teknis dan keuangan. Data primer berupa data Time Series selama  bulan Januari-Desember 2014. Analisis kuantitatif diuji menggunakan one sample t-test, untuk membandingkan nilai profitabilitas terhadap suku bunga deposito perbankan. Berdasarkanhasilpenelitian pendapatan bersih usaha peternakan ayam broiler di Kecamatan Cluwak pada tahun 2014 mencapai Rp 40.998.101.Nilai profitabilitas yang dicapai pada tahun 2014 sebesar 7,52%. Berdasarkan one sample t-test perbandingan profitabilitas dengan suku bunga deposito perbankan, menunjukkan hanya terdapatsatu perusahaan dari 5 perusahaan inti yang berbeda nyata (P≤0,05), sedangkan keempat yang lain tidak berbeda nyata (P>0,05). Simpulan yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah profitabilitassebagian besar peternak plasma dari seluruh perusahaan inti di Kecamatan Cluwak menghasilkankeuntunganmelalui angka profitabilitas yang lebih besar dibanding suku bunga deposito bank.Kata kunci : ayam pedaging; pendapatan;profitabilitas ABSTRACT A study aimed to determine the cost of production, revenues and incomes as well as to determine the level of profitability in broiler chicken farm in the district Cluwak Pati Regency. Methods of data collection in this study using interviews and observation (observation). The type of data collected primary data and secondary data. The primary data obtained through direct observation and interviews with questionnairs regarding technical and financial aspects. Primary data was Time Series’sdataduring January to December 2014. The quantitative analysis was tested using a one-sample t-test, to compare the profitability towards of the bank deposit interest rate. Based on the research net,  income of broiler chicken farm in the Cluwak district in 2014 reached Rp 40,998,101. Value of profitability achieved in 2014 amounted to 7.52%. Based on one sample t-test comparison of the profitability of the bank deposit interest rate, suggests there was only one company from 5 enterprisesreached significantly different (P≤0,05). The conclusions obtained from this study was mostly plasma farmers profitability from whole core companies in the District Cluwak gainedprofitabilityvalues greater than bank deposit rates.Keywords : broiler ; income; profitability

Abstract

The study purpose to determine the effect of difference in feeding period (starter – finisher) and protein level meat – bone ratio and protein mass of breast and thigh of pelung chicken from 1 to 11 weeks old of age. The material used was 1 week old chickens pelung with sex between male and female are not distinguishability (mixture) of 96 tail-weight 49.92 +0.35 grams (0.701% CV). Feed used in this study are corn, rice bran, fish meal and broiler concentrate so CP 112. Research using experimental design using Complete Randomized Design (CRD) with 3 treatments ie T1 = treatment by administering Coarse Protein (PK) 18% for 3 weeks and PK 15% for 7 weeks; T2 = treated with PK 18% for 5 weeks and PK 15% for 5 weeks; and T3 = treatment with PK 18% for 7 weeks and then given PK 15% for 3 weeks and each of 8 replicates for each treatment. The parameters observed were feed intake, and feed rate. The results showed that the difference in length of feeding period and protein level no significant effect (P> 0.05) against the ratio of meat and bone mass of the thigh meat protein, while the mass of the protein significantly affect breast meat (P <0.05).Key words: pelung chicken, meat - bone ratio, the mass of the chest and thigh meat protein.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh tepung Salvinia molesta pada pakan terhadap persentase karkas, kadar protein dan lemak daging ayam broiler. Materi yang digunakan daging komposit 20 ekor ayam. Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) 4 perlakuan diulang 5 kali (To= ransum+S. molesta  0%; T1= ransum+S. Molesta 6%; T2 = ransum+S. molesta 12%; T3= ransum+S. molesta 18%). Analisis proksimat dan penimbangan karkas menggunakan 20 sampel daging ayam dari 4 perlakuan 5 ulangan acak. Data kadar protein dan lemak dianalisis uji F (One Way Anova) taraf signifikansi (α)= 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian pakan perlakuan sampai taraf 18% pada ayam broiler tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap kadar protein tetapi berpengaruh nyata terhadap kadar lemakdaging ayam serta persentase karkas ayam broiler.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa pemberian tepung daun Salvinia molesta pada pakan tidak berdampak positif terhadap kadar protein, tetapi dapat menurunkan  kadar lemak dan persentase karkas  jika dibandingkan dengan perlakuan kontrol sehingga diketahui batas toleransi kandungan Salvinia molesta dalam pakan adalah 6%.Kata kunci : karkas; kadar protein;kadar lemak ABSTRACT             The study aimed to determine the effect of Salvinia molesta flour in diets on carcass percentage, protein and fat content of broiler meat. The material was used a composite meat chicken from 20 chickens (35 days old). The study design used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and repeated 4 times (To = ration with S. molesta 0%; T1 = ration + S. Molesta 6%; T2 = ration + S. Molesta 12%; T3 = ration + S. molesta 18%). Proximate analysis and carcass weighing using 20 samples of chicken meat 4 5 treatments random replications. Protein and fat content data were analyzed by F test (One Way ANOVA) at a significance level (α) = 0.05. Results showed that feeding treatment to some 18% in broiler chickens was not significant (P> 0.05) on protein content but significant effect on fat content in chicken meat and percentage of broiler chicken carcasses.  Based on the results of the study that administration of Salvinia molesta in the feed flour had no positive effect on protein content, however could reduce levels of fat and carcass percentage if compared with the control treatment that tolerance limits Salvinia molesta content in the feed was 6%Keywords: carcass;protein content;fat content

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan kotoran walet dalam ransum terhadap performans burung puyuh jantan umur 0-5 minggu. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kandang unggas, Fakultas Peternakan dan Pertanian Universitas Diponegoro dan berlangsung selama 5 minggu. Materi yang digunakan adalah burung puyuh jantan umur satu hari sebanyak 200 ekor. g, 340,13 g, 356,69 g, 355,43 g dan 350,92 g. Bobot badan T0, T1, T2, T3 dan T4 adalah 97,00 g, 101,55 g, 106,50 g, 104,00 g dan 109,25 g. Konversi ransum T0, T1, T2, T3 dan T4 adalah 3,26, 3,37, 3,35, 3,45 dan 3,22. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan penambahan kotoran walet dalam ransum tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap konsumsi ransum, pertambahan bobot badan dan konversi ransum. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu bahwa kotoran walet dapat digunakan sebagai bahan ransum burung puyuh jantan sampai level 12%.Kata kunci : Burung puyuh; kotoran walet; performans.ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the addition of swallow droppings in the ration on performance of quail males aged 0-5 weeks. This research was conducted in the poultry cages, Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Science, Diponegoro University and lasted for 5 weeks. The materials used were 200 heads of males quail aged one day. Parameters observed were feed consumption, body weight gain and feed convention rations. The results showed that the average ration T0, T1, T2, T3 and T4 were 335,71 g, 340,13 g, 356,69 g, 355,43 g and 350,92 g. Body weight gain T0, T1, T2, T3 and T4 were 97,00 g, 101,55 g, 106,50 g, 104,00 g and 109,25 g. Convertion ratio T0, T1, T2, T3 and T4 were 3,26, 3,37, 3,35, 3,45 and 3,22. The results of the statistical analysis showed the addition of swallow droppings in the ration had no significant effect (P> 0.05) to ration consumption, body weight gain and conversion ratio. The conclusion from this research is that swallow droppings it can be used as a ration to the level of 12%Keywords: Quail; swallow droppings; performance.

Abstract

ABSTRAK              Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui pola saluran pemasaran pada usaha ternak ayam broiler pola kemitraan di Kecamatan Limbangan dan mengetahui nilai marjin pemasaran ayam broiler pada tiap pola saluran pemasaran.Penelitian dilaksanakanbulan Juni sampai bulan Juli 2014 di Kecamatan Limbangan Kabupaten Kendal. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi data primer dan data sekunder. Analisis data yang digunakan pola saluran pemasaran dibahas secara deskriptif dan pengujian marjin pemasaran tiap pola saluran pemasaran di uji dengan independent sample t test. Hasil penelitian adalah terdapat 3 pola saluran pemasaran yaitu pola 1: produsen - inti - pedagang besar - pedagang pasar - pedagang eceran - konsumen; pola 2: produsen - inti - pedagang besar - pedagang pasar - konsumen; dan pola 3: produsen - inti - pedagang besar - konsumen. Rata-rata marjin pemasaran adalah pola 1 (panjang) Rp 13.032 sebesar 35,52%, pola 2 (sedang) Rp 12.244 sebesar 33,40 % dan pola 3 (pendek) Rp 11.408 sebesar 31,09%. Marjin pemasaran pola (1 dan 2) dan pola (1 dan 3) terdapat perbedaan antara tiap pola. Sedangkan pola (2 dan 3) tidak terdapat perbedaan antara tiap pola.Kata Kunci: Pola saluran pemasaran dan marjin ABSTRACT             The purpose of this study was determine the pattern of marketing channels in broiler chicken farmingin the district Limbangan partnership and know the value of marketing margin broiler sin each marketing channel pattern. The research was conducted from June to July 2014 Limbangan District Kendal Regency. Data collected included primary data and secondary data. Analysis of the data used marketing channel pattern discussed in the descriptive and marketing margin testing each marketing channel pattern is tested with independent sample t test. The results showed that there are three patterns of marketing channels that pattern 1: manufacturer-core-wholesalers-markettraders-retailers-consumers; pattern2: manufacturer-core-wholesalers-markettraders-consumers and pattern 3: manufacturer-core-wholesalers-consumers. The average marketing marginis the pattern1 (length) Rp13.032 at 35.52%, the pattern2 (moderate) Rp12.244 at 33.40% and 3 patterns (short) Rp11.408 at 31.09%. Marketing marginisthe pattern (1 and 2) and patterns (1 and 3) that there are differences between each pattern. While the pattern (2 and 3) that there is no difference between each them.Keywords: Pattern marketing channels and margin

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pangaruh penggunaan tepung daun katuk (Sauropus androgynus) dalam ransum terhadap performa ayam broiler. Materi penelitian adalah ayam broiler sebanyak 100 ekor unsex umur 14 hari dengan bobot rata-rata 595,6 ± 143 g (CV 7,34 %). Ransum perlakuan dibagi menjadi 4 jenis ransum, yaitu ransum T0 : Ransum tanpa menggunakan tepung daun katuk, T1 : Ransum menggunakan tepung daun katuk 3%, T2 : Ransum menggunakan tepung daun katuk 6%, T3 : Ransum menggunakan tepung daun katuk 9%. Rancangan percobaan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan jumlah 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan masing-masing unit percobaan berisi 5 ekor ayam broiler. Ransum dan air minum diberikan ad libitum. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rataan konsumsi tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) T0 = 2.305,73, T1 = 2.353,22, T2 = 2.357,68, T3 = 2.368,03 g/ekor, rataan pertambahan bobot badan berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) T0 = 1.809,20, T1 = 1.645,27, T2 = 1.545,20, T3 = 1.944,13 g/ekor, rataan konversi ransum berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) T0 = 1,28, T1 = 1,43, T2 = 1,53, T3 = 1,24. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan tepung daun katuk (Sauropus androgynus) dalam ransum tidak memberikan pengaruh perbedaan terhadap konsumsi ransum dan konversi ransum, namun meningkatkan pertambahan bobot badan dengan taraf penggunaan 9% dalam ransum.Kata Kunci: daun katuk; konsumsi; pertambahan bobot badan; konversi; broiler ABSTRACT This research aimed to determine the effect of katuk leaf (Sauropus androgynus) powder in the diet on broiler chicken of its performance. The materialused in the research were 100 broiler chick unsex aged 14 days with average weight 595.6 ± 143 g (CV 7.34 %). Diet was divided into four treatments, T0 : was diet without katuk leaf powder, T1 : diet with katuk leaf powder 3%, T2 : diet with katuk leaf powder 6%, T3 : diet katuk leaf powder 9%. The experimental was conducted using the completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 replications and each research unit consist of 5 chickens. Diet and drink given ad libitum. The result shown that treatments did not affect (P>0.05) the feed consumption on T0 = 2,305.73, T1 = 2,353.22, T2 = 2,357.68, T3 = 2,368.03 g/unit. The level of katuk leaf on the average daily gain (T0 = 1,809.20, T1 = 1,645.27, T2 = 1,545.20, T3 = 1,944.13 g) and feed conversion ratio (FCR) (T0 = 1.28, T1 = 1.43, T2 = 1.53, T3 = 1.24) affected significantly (P<0,05). The conclusions of this study was the use of katuk (Sauropus androgynus) leaf powder in the diet on broiler chicken had no effect in feed consumption dan feed conversion ratio, but the use of katuk powder in 9% additional in diet increased average daily gain significantly.Keyword : katuk leaf; consumption; average daily gain; feed conversion ratio; broiler

Abstract

ABSTRAK          Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui tingkat keuntungan, mengevaluasi profitabilitas, mengevaluasi pengembalian nilai investasi dan mengevaluasi kelayakan proyek dari nilai benefitusaha ternak ayam petelur UD. Balebat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan observasi. Variabel yang diamati meliputiReturn On Investment (ROI), Payback Periode (PP), dan Benefit CostRatio(B/C Ratio). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan populasiUD. Balebat 12.167 ekor, ROI 47,94%,mampu mengembalikan investasi yang ditanamkan PP sebesar 1 tahun 7 bulan 13 hari dan B/C ratio sebesar 1,57. Simpulan penelitian adalah perusahaan UD. Balebat layak dijalankan dan menguntungkan.Kata Kunci : ROI; PP; B/C ratio ABSTRACT             The purpose of this research were to know level of profit,capability of getting profit,capability of return investment,time capability of return investment,capability to know ratio of getting profit from production cost on UD. The data which to be analyzed was primary data taken from interview and secondary data taken from institution.This research use kind of type financial analyzed Return On Investment (ROI), Payback Periode (PP), dan Benefit CostRatio(B/C Ratio).The result of analyzed show rate of population UD.Balebat 12.167 ekor, ROI 47,94%,PP value to return investment 1 year,7 months, 13 days and BC ratio 1,57.
